Your pov.

I was getting tired of my parents. My father had hit me so many times. At times I go to Free's house for the night.

"Just leave me alone!!! I hate both of you!!!! " I shouted.

"Don't you dare say that to us! " my father shouted as he slapped me across the face. I fell on the floor. I ran to my room crying. I slammed my door closed and locked it.

I got my backpack and opened the window. When I did I jumped out and ran to Free's house. I knocked on his door crying. He opened it and looked at me worried. He took me to his room.

"Y/n I'm suppose to be lazy and carefree. But when I see you like this I can't help but worst about you. And I don't worry about people. " he said. I kept crying looked away. "Just do me a favor. " he said. I was still looking away when he grabbed my chin so I can look at him. "Don't hurt yourself. Don't cut yourself, and don't do suicide, please? " he said. I hugged him tightly and cried barring my face in his chest.

"Free please come with me. I need to see my friends at Beigoma academy. " I said. He hugged me back.

"I-Ill see what I can do. " he said.

"T-thank you Free. " I said. And we kept hugging each other. I slowly started to feel something for him. But I still couldn't  get Valt out of my head.

"How about we go to our favorite cafe? Maybe that will cheer you up. " he said. I looked at him, and nodded my head. He smiled and whipped away my tears. He stood up and stuck out his hand. I smiled and grabbed it. We left his house and went to the cafe.  That's when I realized that we we're still holding hands. My face heated up.

Time skips...

We got to the cafe and ordered. We sat down at a table and waited. We talked about some stuff. He made me laugh at times and at other times he almost fell asleep.

"Are you kidding me? We have to go to school here too. " I heard a familiar voice say but ignored it.

"Yesh dude chill. " I heard another familiar voice say. But I kept ignoring it. They came with our order and we started eat out triple fudge cake, and our coffee that had a heart shape in it. I just smiled at Free. I took a but if my cake and it was delicious!

"Fine. Leta just order. " the familiar voice said.

"So what are you going to do for art? " he asked.

"What we had to do something for art?! " I asked surprised.

"Yeah even I'm surprised I remember." Free said.

"What are we doing this time? " I asked whining.

"A kite with a picture we have to draw first, then paint. " he said.

"Are you kidding me. " I said. "I already have enough problems. " I said putting my hands over my face. I looked at him and he was smiling at me.

"I can help you. " he said patting my head. He took my spoon got some cake and put it in my mouth. My eyes widened and heated up. I took the spoon out of my mouth.

"Free don't do that. " I said. I grabbed his spoon and got a piece of cake, putting it in his mouth. He just smiled and swallowed what was in his mouth. He opened his mouth again.

"More cake please. " he said.

"You weren't suppose to like me doing that. " I said with a vein pop. And he just chuckled. Dang his chuckle is so adorable too.

"Y/n? " I heard someone ask. Me and Free both turn and see Valt. Free's smile vanished as usual. And my eyes widened.

"V-Valt. " I said.

"It is you. " he said hugging me. I just sat their surprised. Why is he here?

"You know him? " Free asked.

"Free this is my ex Valt. " I said looking away.

"Why did you two split? " he asked.

"The reason I told you I came here in the first place. " I said.

"He's the guy? " he asked and I just nodded my head looking out the window.

"Look y/n I'm sorry. " Valt said.

"I could've went back to home after I found out everything, okay? I don't want to deal with this right now. " I said standing up.

"Look y/n... " Free cut him off.

"Look she's not feeling good right now. So look for her when she feels better. " Free said grabbing my arm and taking me out of the cafe.

More time skips...

We got back to Free's house.

"You must be tired go ahead and sleep in here. I'll go sleep in the couch. " he said.

"No Free wait. " I said. He stopped in his tracks. And looked at me.

"Yeah? " he asked.

"Please stay here. I don't want to do something dumb. " I said. He laid down on the bed and instantly fell asleep. I couldn't blame him. His bed is so comfy. I instantly fell asleep too.
