The fourth battle started out just like the last with both Achilles and Forenous attacking each other. While their beys were busy with the physical fight their bladers were having the battle of the minds.

"You sure do talk a lot; maybe it's because you're afraid of losing to me."

"Maybe you're the one who's afraid Fubuki! I know what you're feeling Fubuki, I've been down this road before!"

"You've got to accept when you've lost!"

The dark energy appeared around Fubuki again except this time it went over to Aiger appearing as a black tentacle.

"He's not going to swallow me up again, I won't let him!"

Aiger did the same summoning up his own power. The light around Aiger managed to scare away the tentacle and it was sent retreating back to Fubuki.

With Fubuki distracted Aiger took his chance.

"Achilles now!"

Achilles rose behind his master letting out its signature war cry.

Fubuki did the same copying Aigers trajectory.

Both beys collided and flew out of the stadium. They both landed simultaneously on the ground.

"What?! How'd you do that?"

"Forenous has the power to copy others moves, like how water is formless it takes the shape of its container and in this case your moves."

The corrupted energy came back and started swirling around Fubuki. It's was once blue and green resonance darkened into an off color purple. The ghostly Phoenix appeared letting out a warning cry.

"Phi!"

"Fubuki's not here right now but if you'd like to leave a message let me know."

"Let him go Phi!"

"No, in fact let's make this more interesting."

Fubuki or Phi in this case adjusted his stance.

Aiger figured he would've done Phi's stance but after changing his launching stance from different bladers Phi settled on Free's.

"You copycat!"

"Said the shadow of Valt."

Aiger narrowed his eyes, gritted his teeth and clenched his bey.

He did the same getting into his own launching stance.

"3...,2...,1... Let it Rip!"

Like Free's bey Fornous dove for center while Achilles came on the attack. Forenous copied all its attacks blow for blow.

"You can't win Aiger, not when Fubuki can copy all your moves."

"We'll see about that! Achilles blow them away!"

Aiger summoned Achilles in a storm of energy, he rose behind his master holding out his sword ready for battle.

"Nice try, Aiger but you can't win like that either."

Fubuki or Phi summoned Forenous, but as Forenous took shape a Phoenix could also be seen in the background over Fubuki and Forenous.

Both beys attacked each other over and over, on one attack Achilles was sent flying back ending the cycle of attacking.

If Fubuki can copy anyone's moves then he can easily just counter them with my own...How am I supposed to beat him?

Looking up at the bleachers Phi stood with his hand out and his eyes open and fully black glowing with power. He had an eerie smile on his face.

Narrowing his eyes Aiger looked back down at the battle.

No! There has to be some way to beat him! If he can copy all my moves then maybe he can't copy all of them!

Achilles and Forenous both slowed to a stop simultaneously.

Picking up Achilles, Aiger stared down at his partner for a long time.

Are you sure Achilles, it isn't ready yet...

Achilles twinkled in response and Aiger nodded his head.

"Last chance Aiger, either surrender or face the consequences. I'll even go easy on you this round by using Fubuki's launch form."

"I'll never surrender Phi!"

"Then have it your way."

Fubuki got into his launching stance along with Aiger.

"3...,2...,1...Let it Rip!"

Unlike last time this battle started off with attacking except this time Achilles was defending, blowing off Forenous's attacks in the middle.

"Forenous now!"

Fubuki and or Phi summoned Forenous, it clashed with Achilles. But Achilles didn't budge.

"What are you up to Aiger?"

"Nothing, I'm just going to blow you away! Achilles now!"

Achilles attacked Forenous sending on the outer rim. Forenous chased it from behind.

"Wrong move Aiger."

Forenous trapped Achilles against the wall.

Aigers eyes widened, he remembered from the last battle how Emerald Eye destroyed Wvyron doing the same thing. But at the same time Aiger wasn't surprised, Phi had always cared about destruction right from the beginning.

"Achilles now!"

Achilles tilted and leapt into the air.

It glowed bright red and came down on Forenous.

"Turbo Dive!"

A shield formed around Achilles as it came down on Forenous.

At the point of contact Forenous bursted sending its pieces flying into the air by Fubuki's feet.

"Not bad Aiger, beating me with a new move so I can't counter it. But the thing is that trick will only work once. If you face us in the finals I hope you come up with something else."

"Or else.."

Fubuki's resonance flared up, solidly purple and black. No trace of blue was anywhere. His eyes glowed red and a huge ghostly Phoenix was seen behind Fubuki constricting itself around Fubuki.

Aiger looked up at his friend with fearful eyes.

"Fubuki please, we need you....I need you."

"Touching Aiger, but Fubuki's not here right now.."

His resonance grew bigger as he grew closer to Aiger. Aiger took a step back as Fubuki took a step forward.

"Good you should be scared..."

"That's enough Phi!"

Valt Aoi came running on stage alongside Shu and Sasha.

"Valt Aoi and his little fan club how quant..."

Fubuki's resonance dissipated and the large Phoenix disappeared. Fubuki's eyes were still glowing red as a warning.

Aiger held out his arm, stopping Valt, Shu and Sasha.

"Fubuki, I'm sorry."

Phi and or Fubuki started laughing hysterically like a madman.

"I'm sorry we've never been close and I'm sorry you were taken by Phi and Theodore. I know we should've come back for you, we should've come back for everyone..."

Fubuki's eyes stopped glowing and for a minute he almost looked normal.

"We would all go to these meetings and try to brainstorm ideas and ways to get you guys back. At one point we even used Count Nightfell as our own spy but... every meeting Ranjiro would..."

Aiger trailed off looking down.

"What did he say?"

Looking back up Fubuki he looked normal, no dark resonance, no hatred or anger in his eyes. Instead there was only a hint of curiosity and concern. Almost like the old Fubuki.

"Ranjiro would always mention how you scarified yourself to the others. How even though you were more of a lone wolf you still cared enough to give yourself up for us. The way he described your fearlessness....it was like he was there and saw everything."

"We all care for you Fubuki, it may not look like it. Some maybe more than others but we're going to get you back..."

Aiger looked up into the crowd.

"We're going to get all of you back, I promise."

Aiger walked offstage with a surprised Valt, Sasha and Shu trailing him.

Fubuki left the stage too.

But up in the stands Phi stood clenching his fists. Anger was written all over his face.

"Aiger!"

Phi slammed his hand into the wall storming off. His resonance flaired up faintly and a large Phoenix let out an inhuman noise. His eyes bent with hatred.

I think it's time Phoenix...
