Morning came. Makia woke up (FN) and he swiftly walked to school. He was eating on the go and had a bottle of water in his backpack. He needed time to think. Having the open air to walk down to school while he regained his thoughts from last night. (FN) was thinking about what was going on. A rare moment when Makia saw him at night when he turned in early almost every night.

There was a knock on the door. (FN) that was casually on his MMO when he got up and he answered the door. No boss raids or anything that needed fulltime attention. So he knew this must have been important. No voice heard either. 

(FN) opened the door. "Makia. Hey."

"May I have a word?" Asked the old butler.

"Please. Come right in." (FN) opened the door and let him in. Then looking both sides of the hallway before closing it. He turned around and knew this was going to be an important and quiet conversation. "What's going on?"

"Be careful with that girl you're seeing." 

(FN) was shocked. "Hold on-"

"Shhh. Please. Low voice." Makia said softly. "Let me explain."

"Is it someone you know that's related to her?" Asked (FN).

"Maruo Nakano is the father of Miku and her four sisters. Your father does not care for the man. It will lead to a domino effect." The butler winked.

"Maria?" (FN) whispered.

"You never know. She likes pressuring you. You know that."

"So, how do I tell Miku that I can't ever invite her over if it's going to be like this? How do I go about all of this?" The boy was smart, but stress and being put on the fly caused him to have no answer. 

"They can't block her from your game. Certainly not from her house if that was ever to be the case. So many public areas to be. The restaurants, cafes, and even the school library so the two of you might study. She works correct?" Makia was getting his plan rolling. 

"Yes?"

"Currently her and one of the sisters can figure out who Eito (LN) is. Explain the situation and just say how you want to keep seeing her. You are a gentleman. And if you didn't care this would be over by now. Don't tell her that of course. Tell her you still want to see her. This relationship isn't official right?"

"It isn't."

"Rough stage. Be gentle. Proceed with caution. I can make suggestions, but at the end of the day you will have to figure it out all on your own. I hope you know that."

"Same thing here. I am given tools but have to work at it. My father is on his third marriage. Never lost motivation because of it. What do you think I am?"

Makia chuckled. "A young man exceeding expectations?"

"What do I look like?" Grumbled (FN).

"Only joking. In doing so you will be just fine. You know what's ahead and you will do great. A man that prepares well and plans well going forward tends to have success. Don't overthink and make that girl happy. Good luck. I'm here. Just be discreet." He patted the boy on the shoulder.

"Very well." (FN) shook his head. "This is going to be tougher then I thought."

The butler let himself out leaving (FN) with a clouded mind. Maruo Nakano. That explains how Miku are her sisters live a good life. Travel in a limo and living in an expensive part of town. A big shot business man similar to my father but they don't get along. If this is the obstacle I wonder what's next. It's not like I have a brother or sister here to keep Maria occupied. She doesn't mention them often since they're older than me. Maybe it's because they're adults too and I'm the young one?

Miku

No. What's up?

(FN)

Want to hang out again?

Miku

Please. Where to?

(FN)

How about you pick this time? Seems fair.

Miku

I'll think about it. Vending machine after school?

(FN)

Sounds good.

Great. Now I just have to eventually find the time to tell her how everything is. But better yet, blushing aside, if I asked her out would she accept? That's the one thing I do not know. I can't recall that. But if I asked her to be my girlfriend would she accept? Wait, I'd have to go through the sisters first. I might be jumping ahead, but I'd want to meet them first. Only way to do it. Dreadfully nervous but yeah. 

Man I'm getting worked up. I just don't want Maria breathing down my neck. I'm sick of it already. She's most likely going to say something tonight and it's going to get the best of me. I got to be careful.

It was a normal day in class. (FN) was happy his studies kept him occupied. He didn't think of Miku and the father rivalry until it was time to get out. He spent some extra time at his desk after the final bell. Getting some last minute notes in and then to proceed to the crisis at hand.

Sorry. I'm a little behind. Had to write down some notes. On my way.

Leaving her a quick text to give her a heads up as he tried to calm himself down. He couldn't by any means be spill his thoughts from last night and this morning. (FN) caught it all together as he saw Miku sitting down by the vending machine drinking a can of matcha. How could he be so tense while seeing that?

"Hey Miku." He walked over to the vending machine and got himself a drink. 

"Hey (FN). How's thing?"

"Been busy. Just been thinking. But never mind that. Where did you want to head today?"

Miku smiled. "My sisters wanted to meet you."

"Oh, is that so? Well, uh, sure thing. Where to?"

Miku blushed. "The limo is waiting."

"Oh? Wow. I didn't expect that coming." He chuckled nervously. 

"You nervous as much as I am?" She asked.

"I am. I won't lie about it. It is what it is. I take it that the sisters are eager?"

"Please don't hate me." Miku sighed.

"I should be the one saying that. But I'm going to give this my best. It's going to be nerve-racking so bare with me."

"You're fine."

He sighed. "Miku, I want you know something." Taking a large breath and getting deep. "I like you." Miku gasped. Not in a bad way either. "I don't care if your sisters ask me questions. I don't care if our fathers hate each other. I just want this continued. Me and you."

"You're, asking me out right now?" She closed her eyes embarrassed. 

"I know this is all so sudden Miku, but I want to go on. I think we can do it." He held his hand out. "What do you think?"

Miku was very hesitant. All new to her. This shyness she still hasn't been able to shake off. She always had her sisters around during these situations. But now this was one she had to make on her own. She reached without looking. He caught her. Holding his hand for the first time. "So this is what its like." She said softly.

"What do you say Miku? Sorry if I'm being pushy. We can hold off if you want."

"Please. No. Don't go anywhere." She got closer and looked at him. Face to face. Both of them red. "I want it."

He reeled her in swiftly to just grab her a much needed hug. "I'll do my best."

"I don't know what I can do. But thank you." She smiled and let out a sigh of relief. 

"Let's just be ourselves and go from there. Keep an open mind and help each other. I'll explain to your sisters. Don't worry too much about me."

"Thanks." She squeezed tighter. 

"Shall we go?" 

"Yeah."
