"Hey JJ. What's wrong? Why are you crying?" I heard Jody ask.

"I- I- I killed a m-man," I cried, pointing at the man on the floor.
" I swear I didn't do it on purpose. I don't even know what happened. One minute I was standing, and the next he brought out a gun. And I-I don't know what I did. But he-he is d- d-dead," I whispered shivering.

"Oh Jody! We are here now okay," Don't worry about him. He is not dead. He is only unconscious."

"He's not? Are you sure?"

"Very sure, we can hear his heart beat even from here. So he is very much alive."

"Oh, thank you, thank you. I'm so relieved." I was so happy he wasn't dead. I wasn't a murderer, but I was still confused. How did I do that?

" So what happened, we tried reaching you, but you weren't responding. Then we got scared and came looking for you."

"To be honest, I don't even know what happened. All I know is that I attacked him when he tried to shoot me." 

" Okay... But why had you suddenly left like that? We had a plan. We were to put the orb's aura in your senses, which you were to follow. And then describe the place it leads you, to Jody. So she could teleport us there. So why the hell did you leave before we could finish putting the aura into you?" Wulf asked.

All I could do was stare at her in confusion.
"You didn't lead me here? I can swear that I  didn't come here by myself."

"The orb is here."

"Huh! " We all turned to look at Meg, who stared ahead with a thoughtful expression.

"You lead us to the orb. I can feel its aura strongly here."

"Real--"

I didn't get to finish, because just then three rugged looking men came barging into the hallway.

The largest of them noticed us first, and shouted, "hey, what are you doing h..."

He didn't get to finish also. Because a knife struck his throat.

"What!! I screamed, turning around, it was Wulf that threw it. "What the hell!"

"The other two men, came out of their shock and charged at us screaming. Next thing I knew. They turned towards each other, carried their guns and shot their selves dead.

"What! I was shocked once again. I shivered, my lips trembled. My legs shook. I had never even seen a dead body before. But right now I was part of a murder scene, in fact I was a murderer.

I  didn't realize that I had stopped walking, I stood staring at the dead bodies with blood  everywhere.

"Hey JJ, we have to go, others will be here anytime soon. The gun sound should have alerted them of our presence." Jody said.

But I still couldn't move, I kept looking at the bodies, until I felt someone pull me, just as a gun sounded.

I found myself on Wulf's arm. I couldn't see what was going on, only that it was the man who I  thought I  had killed that shot the gun.

Everything was silent once again. And I was dropped gently on the ground. I tried walking but I slipped because of my over long dress. Noticing this. Wulf reached down and ripped it off. The lower half of my dress was gone.

We continued heading straight, following the aura. I should have gone back. I should have run back to my hotel room. But I did none of that. I kept dragging myself behind them regretting my decisions.

By now, my heels were gone. And from my knee down to my toes were empty.

Then we came out of the hallway, into another with two different ways. Meg pointed at the Jody and Wulf.

" Go that way,"  me and JJ will head this way."
Before I could speak out my complain. They left us heading to the left. I guess I had no choice.

It was as if all the bad guys were in this direction, because, as Meg kept fighting them off with her mind power. They increased in number.

Three men came charging at us, while two remained in their back waiting. There were five men in total. The first man who came running widely to us, while holding a knife, tripped over making the second man  stumble and fall chest first on his knife. "Woah, that was fast, and disgusting."

The remaining two that stood at the back, also came charging at us.

"Stay behind me always JJ."

"I absolutely have no problem with that." I replied Meg.

Then she removed a small knife from her boot, and just like how Jody's traveling box did, it became a very big sword. Much bigger than normal. It was the sword I first saw her with.

Before the man in front could move further, the sword came slicing his throat. I took some steps back to prevent myself from seeing all the blood.

Seeing that, the three remaining men all brought out the guns. But before they could shoot at us. Another knife flew from her hand hitting one straight on the head, and her sword struck and sliced another on the chest pushing him back towards the last guy.

He stumbled upon the last guy, causing him to lose his stamina.
Before he could regain it, he was met with a heavy spinning kick to his head rendering him unconscious.

Woah! That all happened, under seconds. I was still scared, but amazed. I tried convincing myself that it was self defense, it was kill or be killed, I wasn't really doing the killing, but I felt like I was.

We kept walking forward, that's when we heard footsteps from behind us, turning around, I was expecting to see a rugged man, but was relieved, when the psycho's came bouncing towards us.

" Wow, you had  all the excitement. While we had nothing." Jody said smiling.
They really are psycho's, I thought."

" Excitement? Nothing here was exciting. I was seconds away from throwing up."

"Please save it for later." Wulf stated. "Let's move."

We continued our journey. The psycho's cut down and slice anyone that came in their way, while I  just at followed them behind trying not to throw up.

Looking at the situation in front of us made me feel nauseous. We stood opposite, literally an army. There were fifteen or more men, all with guns pointed at us.

The leader I  believe, at the front spoke.
" Who the hell are you and what do you want."

"We are looking for the power orb."Meg stated simply.

"Even if  it was here, do you think we will give it to you?" The man growled.

"No you won't,  but that won't stop us from taking it." Saying that, she turned to us and nodded. While the man raised his hand up, as a signal to his men.

" Stay out of sight." Jody whispered, I crunched low and moved back, hiding behind a wall. With eyes closed, I prayed.

Hearing gun shots here and there with shouting and wailing. It lasted for a few minutes before everywhere became silent.

I opened my eyes, scared, I didn't want to die. Hearing footsteps coming my way I closed my eyes tightly, heart pounding with fear.

"JJ you can come out now." Wulf said. Exhaling in relief, I  slowly stood up, then turned around. Coming out of my hiding place, only to freeze.

Blood was scattered everywhere. The men were either headless or had most of their body parts missing. I saw a man gasp and struggled for air. But then Jody used her boot to smash his head on the concrete floor, causing blood to splash around.

My mouth hung open in shock, that is until all I had been feeling came pouring out of my mouth in the form of a thick smelling liquid.

Until I was done throwing up. Before I realized where I did, or rather whose shoe I threw up on.

Wulf stared in shock at her shoes.

"Uh-huh. I'm sorry," I said quickly running away from her, to hide behind Meg.

But before she could answer or react. A loud thunderous growl that sounded like that of a wild creature. Echoed from the closed door in front of us. 

Before any of us could think of what to do next, the door was ripped off its hinges , and in front of us stood a man with thick black eyes,

" I should have expected it will be Valkyries." You are never far away from trouble." The man spoke.

His voice was as rough as expected, it wasn't even human, it sounded like a faulty loudspeaker.  He was scary, he looked paler than the color white.

I unintentionally took a step back, and his eyes landed on me.

"Interesting. A mortal."

I almost peed my pants.

That's when he struck.
Something black like smoke came out of his hands towards us. Before any of us could move, we were hit with a strong force. I fell on my butt, but the psycho's actually flew further away. Instead of falling, like I did, they all landed on their legs. Turning back around I saw the black eyed man looking at me with eye brows squeezed together as if confused.

The psycho's attacked him.
Meg was with her big sword. Jody held  two short swords  at elbow level. And Wulf was with two heavy looking bats, not your regular bat."where did all these weapons com from."

Meg met him face to face exchanging blows. While Jody slid under he's knees on the floor attacking from below. And angry psycho went straight to his head, it looked promising. They were going to win.

That's what I thought before he exploded. Changing  into a big, ugly, scary beast with horns.

I stood up from the floor and ran to hide behind the wall again.  looking back I  was so wrong.

He was beating them badly, he kicked Jody with one of his four legs, sending her flying to the opposite wall. Wulf struggled to remove his hands from around her neck. While weapon psycho tried to block the series of punches coming towards her.

A nasty looking thing, black in color, came out of his mouth moving towards Meg's eyes.

"Oh no!." Just then. My sixth sense kicked in. If I didn't do anything, Meg was going to die.

So I picked up a knife lying on the floor from the last fight, and tiptoed towards them.

Jody was back trying to fight him off again, but it wasn't working.

That's when I jumped, knife in hand, I had no idea what i was doing but I  went ahead anyway.

Just as the knife was about to hit the back of his head. He turned around to look at me. Making it pierce his eye instead."oh shit".

He released an ear splitting growl and turned towards me.

" I will lay claim to your soul you foolish mortal."

I screamed and ran into the room in front of me to hide. But the demon beast followed me inside.

I didn't know when the psycho's came in. But they were in. And the fight continued. Only that this time around. They had a chance.

Turning around to look for a better place to hide, I hit something behind me which fell. Picking it up. A shock of cold passed through my hands. I felt electricity, running through me.

I screamed and fell down. I couldn't tell whatever was happening around me. But before everything faded, a voice spoke.

"What are we going to do,"

"We have to take her to the elders.

Longest chapter, but it was needed, things will change from now on.
