Many warriors have crossed Odin's path, but all of them had outside battles they fought. 

Theresa and Carolin were a different type of warrior. They fought a battle within themselves. 

Theresa arrived first. She came in, basically reduced to skin and bones, dressed entirely in  light shade of pink. She was also secluded about her battle that she lost, but many people saw the scars on her arms, and many tried to find out what happened. 

Two days after Theresa, a woman in similar conditions came in. Carolin seemed to improve Theresa's mood by tenfold. The two told the story of their battle together. 

They told of how they found out about the enemy within them, which they called cancer. 

They told of how they shared a room at the hospital, and how they became friends soon after meeting. 

They told of Sarah and Rachel, two healers who fought at their side, and at the sides of many others. 

They told of how they willingly went and allowed themselves to be poked, prodded, cut, just to try and defeat this enemy. They told of how this treatment made their hair fall out, their limbs weak. 

They told of how Theresa seemed so close to making it, but flat-lined during the night. Carolin told of the sorrow she felt for the next two days, having the bed next to hers empty. 

Carolin told how she flat-lined during a session of treatment two days after Theresa had passed. 

Theresa and Carolin had lost battles within them, and the stories of their hardships and bravery brought even the mighty Odin to tears.
