Chapter 4
"I said what I said."
Chan watched in amusement as her mien changed from relaxed to utterly shocked. He even second-guessed his comment, wondering if he had made her uncomfortable. But then, she laughed nervously, "Am I being flirted with?"
"Why, yes."
"Are you from the Shakespearean Era?"
Chan paused his overflowing rizz, "What?"
"See," Char explained with hand motions (basically her hands rolling and flailing around for the most part), "As a writer, I value words a lot. A subconscious smile spread across Chan's lips as he watched her ramble with twinkling eyes. She paused to breathe, fixing her round glasses on her nose, and then clasped her hands, "...Therefore, you are now in my next story."
"Wait, I'm in a what?"
"My next story! I am just about to finish the one I'm currently writing, so I am gonna take you and your Shakespearean abilities to elevate my sto- oh, wait, I'm supposed to be socially awkward."
Chan giggled, "You know what?" he leaned in a little, bringing his hand up to fix her glasses which had slid down again, making her gasp a little, "I'm gonna say it."
"What...?"
"You're cute, neighbor."
