Chapter 2

Chan had just shifted yesterday, and this morning, the only thing on his mind was to get the new track made and done with.

But, oh, sweet Heavens! Making music is one hell of a task.

Focused only on the laptop's screen and the devices used to produce EDM beats, he had spent the entire morning busy. It totaled up to seven hours. You might be quite impressed by now.

"Ahh!" he sighed, taking his headphones off. His back ached, and no, it was not because he was growing old, as his friend, Seungmin, liked to put it. It was because he had been sitting straight for seven hours. He can defy the old age allegations any day, try him.

And that's when the doorbell rang.

"Who on Earth...?" he murmured to himself, standing up and cracking his back. Maybe he cannot defy those allegations.

For him, music was what he had named his passion. And even though he was stressed, he still loved it. But then again, he could not ignore the sole fact that he was stressed nonetheless.

And in that stressful trance, he stomped up to the door and saw a girl standing there, holding a box with a little bow at the edge. Why was she taking so much time to speak, though? He had a bunch of other stuff to attend to!

"What is it?"

The next thing he knew, she had expressed an apology and sprinted away. He stood there like a sim character, holding the box in his hands for about five seconds, before he digested that oh, shit, he had been rude to a stranger for no reason.

Then he looked at the box in his hands, and that cute little bow made him feel sorry. The guilt did not end there — he saw blueberry muffins, beautifully frosted and decorated. His stomach rumbled at the sight of them. And, if that wasn't enough, he saw a note attached to the box:

Welcome, neighbor!!! :)))

And that was how he knew that he had messed up big time. His heart ached, and feeling incredibly guilty and mad at himself, he frowned.

He needed to apologize.
