in 1880's, people are modern and sophisticated. they believe that good manners and attitude makes up a person. although he was raised in a wealthy family and well-educated, lucas was a rebel. at the age of 22, he was sent to their family's farm where it is far from civilization as a punishment and make him a well-mannered man. as a result, he met the caretaker's son, jungwoo, who was the only reason for lucas to change.

lucas has been in different seas of the world, killed hundreds of thieves, a captain of a team, searching for treasure other than doing he's work on scavenging with other pirates. he met and traded with many men, resulting to him being one of the wealthiest man in his big town. he is a decent man, balanced with chaotic and well-mannered attitudes, which made several women get attracted with him. although, he isn't attracted to them--he's attracted to their personal blacksmith, jungwoo.

all sicheng (winwin) wanted was to have a decent, peaceful life being in college. taking up fine arts majoring in dance, he's been busy thinking and creating choreographies but he had time squealing over a soccer player, whose name is yuta--which he has a big crush on him. sicheng would stop and watch him play every afternoon, cheering for yuta quietly on the bleacher. one day, he was just passing by to check if yuta and his team were practicing soccer again but came across with yuta's small circle of friends...with a little girl in the soccer player's arms.

overhearing, it seemed to be yuta's daughter, resulting to sicheng tensing up.

inspiration/ reference: 'detroit: become human' (video game), "viper" agent selection (animation, 'valorant'), 'build a bitch by bella porch' (concept)

as the years pass by, civilizations became modernized with robots, humanoids, accompanying humans for their betterment. AI's are more powerful and robots know "emotions." empathy was one of them. because of the mistreatment, humanoids became rebels which are called as "deviants" and they demand equal rights. this resulted to cities being destroyed and humans suffering. as a solution, the government planned on shutting every humanoid, deviant or not, to "kill" them.

as the leader, yuta never wanted to fail. his resolution was to kill the president. in the middle of fighting with government's men, he saw a survivor inside the house that was about to fall in pieces. this is where he met an innocent human, sicheng (winwin).

"desperate times calls for desperate measures." --ten would always keep this quote in mind. since no one never supported him in going to college, he sustains all of his own needs instead. he worked in several jobs, and one of that was being a dancer/ waiter at a gay bar--which no one knows. just like any other night, he saw this guy that was ready to pay him for a good fuck. it wasn't his usual one-night-stand type of guy, named johnny, in fact, they called on each other for a few weeks before things suddenly stopped between them.

after a few months, ten was back in university for another school year. it would be another boring year but that was what he thought. attending his first subject, he was surprised to see johnny--his professor.

johnny actually thinks ten is cute.

mark would always come home tired from work. he comes home alone as well because all his relationships were a failure. although, he is somewhat a hopeless romantic guy so he's still finding the right person. what he doesn't know, he, romantically, likes his neighbor, namely donghyuck (haechan) who just moved in a few days ago.

donghyuck (haechan) is a young boy that dreamt about being a famous figure skater. he was never a boy who was good at school, so he's trying his best to push his way through the sports industry. although he was good at singing, he was passionately leaning towards figure skating.

because of this, it causes him to breakdown. at one competition he lost in, donghyuck (haechan) cried at the back, outside of the venue. then he found a cute guy handing him a handkerchief, introducing himself as mark--a person who thought donghyuck was the best among the competitors.

donghyuck (haechan) has migrated to america to catch his dream, which was to perform as a musical actor in broadway. he had been in dance and theater schools, and was able to take up small roles back in korea. he was able to reach his dream and is now a well-known supporting musical actor. despite having a hard time, he was grateful.

then he stumbled upon a man one day at the threaters. his ex-crush, back in korea, who broke his heart, mark lee.

omegas were and have always been a toy in the eyes of every, if not most, alphas and betas. they were only used for breeding and pleasure. though, they cost a fortune. omegas are put into bidding sessions and they are bided for millions of dollars. taeyong was put into bidding and all he could wish was to be with a kind person who won't treat him like any other omega.

that day, jaehyun was pulled into the bidding event by johnny and mark. all they wanted was for jaehyun to have some thrill in his life. although, jaehyun wasn't interested in these type of things. he never liked the idea of omegas being put into sale, like a thrown furniture. but when he saw the pretty omega, taeyong, crying on stage while being bidded, jaehyun could only think of protecting him.

of course, someone's jealous. jaehyun, taeyong's bestfriend and has a big crush on his bestfriend, wants to get his attention as well.

taeyong is a gangster, living to protect the people (omegas) around him with violence, together with a group he created. he was never the person (omega) to back down and was always ready to punch anyone who comes for trouble.

but he would always be vulnerable (the omega he is) to one specific person, jaehyun.

taeyong went accidentally blind just a year has passed. he was new to the feeling of unable to see anything when all his life, he was dependent on his eyesight since he is a painter. canvases and paint were the things he's with every day but it stopped when the accident happened. it made him anxious and scared everyday that something else might happen to him, so ten came to guide him.

taeyong does get lonely. his heart couldn't be at ease but every time he sleeps, he gets sweet dreams. he doesn't exactly see anything often but he hears a soothing voice that makes me feel relaxed. he figured it must be him longing for someone.

one day, when ten needed to leave for a month because of his husband, someone came in to take his part for the meantime. taeyong felt shivers when the man spoke to him. the man has the voice that gave him sweet dreams.
