V's POV

When Y/N left, I felt a bit worried. "Look man, she's just as strong as you. She can handle herself." Flare told me.

"I know. Im just-" I stopped when I caught Flare smirking. "What?" I asked. "Isn't it obvious?" He said. "You like her." I flinched.

"Haha, me? Like Y/N? No, I don't think so." I replied. Flare just smiled even more. "If not, why are you blushing?" He asked.

I immediately noticed. I look away. "Well, maybe I like her. A bit." I admitted. Flare smiled.

"All you need to do now is tell her." He said. I shook my head. "We just met. I don't think she would like me back." I explained.

"Anyways, tomorrow I have work to do. We should sleep." I said, trying to end the subject. Flare nodded. "Ok." He replied.

We went to our rooms and bid each other good night. I sighed as I thought about Y/N.

But I shrugged it off. 'I am still the leader of the Elementals. I won't let a girl get in my way.' I thought as I fell asleep.

Back to Regular POV

You woke up like you always did. You stretched a bit before deciding you should start hunting.

When you were about to leave, you felt like you forgot something. "Meh. Probably nothing important." You said as you tried to find something to attack.

You went outside. The sun was shining and you felt happy. You then started running in search of prey.

You stumbled upon a group of Scorplings. You looked around and saw that they were unprotected. You got ready your sword.

You charged at the Scorplings. They tried scrambling away but were too slow. You were able to kill about 3. The rest fled to the deep forest.

You were satisfied with the kill. You dragged the Scorplings back to your cave.

Once you finished your breakfast, you went outside. "I wonder what I should do." You thought.

"Maybe I should go spying." You said. You then teleported to the beach. You looked around and spotted some Water Elementals and Cycloids.

You watched them but got bored. You tried to find something interesting but Water Elementals were not the most exciting thing to see.

You sighed and started to leave. But you heard the conversation of a 2 Cycloids. "Did you hear that another V was found?" One of them said.

You tried to get closer so that you can understand them better. Were they just talking about you?

"I heard she tried to killed the Chomplers." "She? Its a girl?" "Yeah. A really strong one though. Said to have lived in the forest her whole life."

Then, a Water Elemental joined in. "You know, if all goes well, we could have a queen." He said. You froze. Queen?

"Yeah. I heard V likes her already." One of the Cycloids said. "And who knows, maybe she does too." You had enough of this.

"I would never love that guy even if you threw me in a pit filled with Bombers." You glared. They looked at you in shock.

"Wait, how long have you been standing there?" The Water Elemental asked. "Enough to hear everything." You replied.

"We were only joking." The second Cycloid said. You scoffed. "Even if you were, I just wanted to make myself clear." You told them.

You calmed down and teleported away, leaving the group confused. You didn't care. How did they even know in the first place? Did V tell everyone?

You sighed. You just continued your spying elsewhere. You decided to take a walk in a nearby path. It calmed you to be alone.

You were almost walking with your eyes closed because you knew the place so well. But you weren't looking and bumped into someone.

"Sorry. My fault." You heard a familiar voice. "V?" You asked. He got shocked when he heard your voice. "Y/N?" He asked.

"What are you doing here?" You questioned. "I ask the same to you." V said while getting up. You stood up too.

"I go here to be alone." You replied. "What about you?" "I go here to take a break." V replied. "Things can get a bit stressful." You nodded.

But there was something you needed to ask. "V, how come some people know about me and think we're getting married?" You asked with a stern look.

V blushed for a while. "Flare thinks we like each other so he spread the news." He answered. You glared at him.

"Look, I just want to be alone." You told V. "I don't want people thinking I like you. Just- no."

V nodded. "Ok. I'll try to fix the rumor spread." He replied. "K." You said. Then you remebered something.

"Hey V." You say to him when you were about to leave. "Yes?" He said. "Last night there were Crawlers near my cave." You explained.

"Crawlers? Like the ones in Chaos?" He asked. You nodded. "I think about 4 of them." You said. V thought for a while, but he snapped out of his thoughts.

"Ok. I'll find out why they're here. Thanks for telling me." He told you. "Yeah, no problem." You smiled. "Bye!" You said as you were about to leave.

"Bye." V said. In a flash, you were back in your cave. You rested for a while but you got a book right after.

You started reading about Crawlers. You already knew a lot about them. You knew of their ability called Pack Mentality and their great speed.

You always thought they would be cool if they weren't attacking you. You smiled as you thought of a Crawler being more of a pet cat than a wild wolf.

You continued reading until you got tired. You listened for the chirping crickets but heard none. It wasn't night yet.

You sighed. You checked your chest and took out your disc. You then thought of something. "V wouldn't mind if I snuck into his castle to play this." You thought.

So, you smiled to yourself and teleported to the castle.
