A loud crash shook the ground where JungKook's feet stood. Chunks of wood, brick and other things, he didn't know what, flew at him, hitting him like he was caught in a hail storm. Well it was thunder storming. 

A chilling scream and then two best friends lying on the ground, blood spilled. One, Choi HyeRin, caught under a truck and smashed through the cafe wall. Her face was unrecognisable and shrapnel of glass stuck to her skin, making JungKook want to hurl.

The other, Kim Taehyung also known as V, lied centimetres from the truck. 

If first victim, Choi HyeRin, hadn't moved him from the oncoming truck it would have been him. A few pieces of debris on and surrounding him. The horrifying scream came from him. He's relived a tragedy and had some excruciatingly painful brain damage.

To put it a simpler way; Choi HyeRin pushed Kim Taehyung out of the way when a truck lost control due to the heavy rain and she did it because, despite his second personality (V), he was still her best friend and someone she wouldn't mind calling brother.

And then there was the poor boy, Jeon JungKook, who witnessed it all. Left on his knees, crying helplessly. Strangers tried to calm the boy but JungKook's tears kept flowing.

A siren could be heard echoing through the streets but it was too far away. All alone on the streets, the boy couldn't do anything but cry. Even that didn't help. Three, three ambulance vehicles had to come. 

One for HyeRin, one for Taehyung, one for JungKook. No one else was hurt. It didn't matter in this story if any one else was. JungKook refused to go alone. He demanded to say with at least one of his friends. He ended up with Taehyung as he couldn't bear to see HyeRin in her horrid state.

JungKook was quickly treated for shock and minor injuries in the five minutes he spent inside the office, when he came out, family, friends, the strangers from the cafe had all gathered.

He cried once again into his family's arms, he apologised to HyeRin's parents, prayed silently to Taehyung's parent, thanked the strangers and were surrounded by his friends old and new.

No one, not one person could smile or do anything then wear a permanent frown. One in particular, a Jung Hoseok, slumped against the wall of HyeRin's surgery room. His eyes red and puffy but closed in a desperate prayer for her to be alright. 

JungKook knew about Jhope's hopeless crush towards HyeRin, he knew how it felt. Bangtan surrounded the grieving love loser. It was hard for all of them.

No one was affect more than the other, well, aside from HyeRin and Taehyung. JungKook had two best friends on the verge of death, hoseok had a unofficial lover he regretted never confessing too. 

HyeRin's parents were in tears knowing their daughter saved someone but risked her own life. JungKook's parents were terrified at knowing their son had experience something like that.

Even Bangtan all had something they were sad about. Jin, the mother of the group, knowing it was fruitless to try comfort his friends no matter what and that broke his heart.

Jimin who was missing his equally weird friend. Suga for never being able laugh and talk about how HyeRin beat him up brutally with her. Even others in the hospital gave them pitiful and sympathetic looks.

Always, when JungKook cried, fell over or hurt himself, HyeRin or Taehyung was by his side. Helping him and doing everything to make him better. What could JungKook do?

Dr. Kim exited from TaeHyung's room with a relieved smile on his face. Taehyung was fine. His amnesia problems were gone so he remembered both his time as V and Taehyung. No one was allowed to see him for a few hours but he would be discharged today.

Small smile lit up on everyone faces. But it seemed like once Dr. Kim went away the mood fell. Everyone was holding there breath once again. They didn't want to be happy until they knew HyeRin's state.

Suga patted Hoseok on his shoulder, the distressed boy looked up at his Hyung. Suga gave him a reassuring smile. He took a seat against the wall with him. Suga wanted to say something but he didn't know what. 

Something that wouldn't mean HyeRin was going to die or something that wasn't going to have his friend break down in even more tears. 

" Just hope Hobi." Hoseok leaned his head on Suga's shoulder. He let out a loud and long sigh.

" Mrs. Choi and Mr. Choi?" All eyes casted upon the man in the white lab coat," Follow me." HyeRin's parents had their faces drenched in worry.

JungKook's parents tried to give them some hope. They reluctantly followed the doctor. Silence enveloped the gathered crowd.

A broken screamed came from the other side of the door and everyone feared the worst.
