{third POV}

"Oh! Sabito-san!" Tanjiro beamed at the sight of one of his closest friends and leapt onto his back unexpectedly, ignoring the pain in his broken ribs.

"Tanjiro! Shouldn't you be resting" the peach haired male frowned, placing down his sword and trying to reach Tanjiro who was crawling around his whole body like a damn spider.

"T-Tanjiro stop moving around, I'm so glad you're ok but you still shouldn't be moving so much" Sabito just persisted, trying to pry Tanjiro off his legs, only earning playful giggles from the immature boy.

"Oh! Makomo-san! How's your training been going with Shinobu?" Tanjiro beamed as he was suddenly lifted off the floor by the short black haired girl, her poker expression holding the slightest bit of happiness.

"I'm relieved you are ok, and my training has been going great thank you" she replied with a sweet tone, placing him back on the floor. Makomo wasn't a very strong girl, but due to Tanjiro's small frame and lack of muscle mass she found it quite easy to lift him.

Tanjiro laughed and suddenly went pale.

"W-where's fluffy! D-did someone pick him up when I passed out?!" Tanjiro panicked as sweat started to build on his forehead, frantically searching the surroundings.

"Hey Tanjiro it's fine I'm sur-"

"No! H-hold on... maybe Shinobu-san has him" Tanjiro cut of Sabito and went sprinting back inside, someone suddenly standing in his way and making him smack his face into the person's chest.

Tanjiro yelped and was about to fall over when a firm hold on his wrist made him stop.

"Watch where you're going shortie... you might get hurt" Sanemi and pulled the boy back to reality, looking away a little shyly "what's got you so panicked anyways" he grumbled, bending down a little to his height while still holding onto Tanjiro's shoulders in order to call the boy.

"Sorry I didn't mean to! I... I just don't know where fluffy's gone" Tanjiro started to tear up, his eyes glazed with tears that threatened to fall.

Sanemi panicked "hey! No need to cry! In fact Kanao sent me to give him back to you anyways, she said you'll be looking for him otherw-"

"Gwah! Sanemi-kun you're so amazing thank you thank you!" Tanjiro threw himself onto the wind pillar with a grin, taking the teddy in his arms gleefully.

Sanemi huffed and rubbed the nape of his neck, hoisting Tanjiro into his arms more so he could carry him easier "yeah yeah... I know that" he huffed with a slightly red face.

"Oh! I just remembered! Can I give you some of the Mochi I made with Aoi-chan? We've made enough for everyone" he giggled and swung his legs back and forth while still being carried like a child.

"Fine. I'll try some just because I wouldn't want it to go to waist" Sanemi huffed and began to walk to the kitchen, the sweet aroma of the treats already wafting to his nose.

Tanjiro leapt down from the male's arms and looked through the little glass window in the oven, his nose pressed on the material cutely.

Sanemi stood to the side to simply watch how adorable it was, yet... he felt like something was off though? He couldn't quite put his finger on it however.

"I think Aoi-chan is doing some work so do you want to help me give these put to everyone Sanemi-kun?" Tanjiro asked kindly, his cheeks a little red as he grabbed a cloth and took out the tray.

"Yeah sure..." he answered simply, trying to keep up his angry demeanour.

"Wow! They look so good don't they!" Tanjiro squealed, earning a hum from the wind pillar.

'Am I really going to do this...' Tanjiro thought as he started to place the treats onto a tray with shaky hands 'I guess I have no choice now'

He plastered on another brave smile and whipped around to look Sanemi in the eyes "come on then! We can eat ours afterwards ok?"

Sanemi rolled his eyes and slung his arm around Tanjiro's shoulder protectively "yeh yeah I'm fine with that"

Tanjiro beamed "alright! Let's go this way first" the boy pointed towards the garden where Shinobu normally trains. The duo walked to see Shinobu, Inosuke and Zenitsu; she was teaching them to tap concentration constant.

"Shinobu-san! Here have some!" Tanjiro handed her a pink Mochi and have another two to the bore head and the blonde.

"T-thank you Tanjiro..." zenitsu mukbled with a little sniffle, he had definitely been crying before they got here. Inosuke turned his head "I don't want it!"

Shinobu whacked him on the back of the head, followed by a wink "hmph! Fine!" He angrily retorted and shoved the whole thing in his mouth.

Tanjiro stiffened as he watched them "S-Sanemi meet me in the training grounds, Sabito will be there"

The pillar shrugged his shoulders but felt them nonetheless, assuming Tanjiro just wanted some privacy to talk to one of them.

Just as Sanemi left, Tanjiro dropped to the floor on his knees "I'm sorry I'm sorry" he cried as he watched the three fall limply to the floor in agony, their faces contorted with betrayal and choked expressions.

Before they could scream, Tanjiro delivered a chop to each of their necks to make the transformation less painful; so that when they awoke they would already be demons.

"Tanjiro... what the fuck" Sanemi whispered who happened to look around the corner, watching the whole ordeal.

The boy frantically snapped his head towards the male and grabbed one of the sweet treats in a split second, tackling the pillar to the ground.

Tears streamed down his face as Tanjiro muffled Sanemi's shouts of protest using fluffy "I'm sorry! I'm trying to protect you! Everyone would die otherwise!" He cried, holding the thrashing pillar at bay as he shoved the Mochi down his throat and forced him to swallow by pinching his nose shut.

Salty tears dropped onto Sanemi's face who had finally stopped struggling, Tanjiro removing the teddy after knocking him out.

He wiped his tears and picked up the plate, going to find some more people after fixing his appearance "the master's crow is watching. Let me take him out" Sunny whispered in Tanjiro's ear, buzzing out of his pocket.

Tanjiro gave her a smile and shooed the bird of to take care of the crow.

Next Tanjiro came face to face with Kanao and Aoi who were talking to the three little girls "oh hey Aoi! I've already started to give out the Mochi! It tastes delicious thank you" Tanjiro grinned and offered it to the butterfly girls.

Each of them took one with a smile "I'm glad they like them" Aoi smiled as she took a bite, the three ate their own slowly followed by Kanao.

Tanjiro repeated the same procedure this time with no interruptions, leaving the passed out girls laid gently on the floor.

He hummed and skipped along till he saw Obanai laying down in his tree as per usual "Obanai-san! Here Try some!" Tanjiro called him, gesturing the male to come down from the tree.

Obanai sighed and waved him off, not wanting to seem soft "no thanks Tanjiro"

The boy pouted and jumped into the branch with a single push, landing directly beside him "oh come on pleaseee"

Iguro huffed and closed his eyes, taking one and eating it to simply please the adorable boy.

Almost as soon a he had finished, Obanai was knocked out.

Tanjiro caught his limp body and jumped back to the ground, placing him safely on the floor.

Tanjiro continued this till almost everyone present was knocked out, Gyomei was probably the hardest as he figured something was wrong with the food and refused to eat it, resulting into the two having a fight which Tanjiro obviously won.

Tanjiro had even turned Uzui's wives, because he still cared about them after all and wouldn't want the pillar to be lonely.
