{third POV}

Everyone had returned from their mission with the spider family now; the whole family except Rui had been killed by the demon slayers. Rui thankfully listened to Tanjiro's advice and stayed hidden till everyone left; and it saved his life.

Zenitsu was currently being treated with shinobu's medicine after almost being turned into a spider. Inosuke was recovering from a crushed throat and Tanjiro and Muichiro were completely fine.

As of right now, everyone was currently sleeping and Tanjiro had received a message from Akaza that he is to go into the forest and wait for them.

Tanjiro was hesitant at first because of what happened with Muzan, however the thought of getting fluffy back was enough bribe him.

Sat under the moonlight with his back pressed against a tree; Tanjiro was nervously playing with his fingers like a child, snuffling his feet along the mossy floor as he hummed to unselfish as a pass time.

Suddenly the familiar smell of Muzan drifted to his nose; coming from the right where a dense selection of trees stood.

"Hello dad" Tanjiro said out of the blue, looking at the shadowy area. Muzan sighed and revealed himself "no one can fool your nose can they?" He chuckled, sitting next to Tanjiro with his legs crossed.

The boy looked away from him with a pout, his own way of being stubborn.

"I've brought someone for you Tanjiro" Muzan spoke up, poking his shoulder expectantly. Tanjiro gave him a side glare, seeing fluffy washed and as good as new in Muzan's hold.

Tanjiro looked away stubbornly, refusing to loose the argument "come onnn~ he's been waiting for you Tanjiro" the demon teased, pressing fluffy against the boy in order to bribe him.

Tanjiro whipped his head around without a word and grabbed the bunny, burying his nose comfortingly in the stuffed animal before he turned away again.

Muzan sighed and heaved Tanjiro on his shoulders, grabbing onto his ankles so he couldn't squirm to much "put me down dad! Where are we going!" Tanjiro wined, kicking his legs while flailing his arms around.

Muzan smiled gently and sprinted through the forest at an amazing speed, Tanjiro yelped and wrapped his arms around the male's neck; his hands squeezing desperately onto fluffy so he wouldn't loose it.

"Hold on tight" Muzan stated with a little bit of enjoyment in his tone, jumping high into the air and landing on a sort of structure in jot of the tallest trees in the wood.

"You can open your eyes now"

Tanjiro's grip loosened slightly when they came to a halt, his scrunched eyes peeking open to see where he had brought him.

As soon as he opened them, he jumped off Muzan's shoulders and stared at it with wide sparkling eyes.

"Woah..." Tanjiro gawked, seeing a intricately made tree house. It was put together with polished oak slabs in a sort of rectangular shape, many clear glass window placed around the structure. It had two floors, one with an open balcony and the other with a small attic space.

"Want to look inside?" Muzan smiled, opening a rather small door which was up to his chest but was just the right height for Tanjiro.

"Ok!" He beamed, walking in after the male, finding it rather funny that Muzan had to bend down in order to enter the little home.

The furniture inside was even more beautiful than the exterior, a patterned coffee table stood in the middle; complimented with a tiny fridge to the side filled with snacks chosen by Akaza.

There was a medium sized futon to the side with a comfortable fluffy duvet and green pillows. Different types of plants and succulents decorated the shelves and hung from the ceiling; giving the room a rather magical feel to it.

Tanjiro was frozen.

He had never seen something so beautiful.

What was it for?

Why had Muzan brought him here?

"Have a look upstairs, I can't fit there" Muzan chuckled, shooing Tanjiro up the narrow stairway with a smile.

There he found a collection of beanbags and large pillows, basically a nest of all things comfortable with drawers stacked with new clothes. Turning on a switch to his right, soft blue fairy lights lining the top of the room shon brightly, their delicate bulbs resembling that of stars on a clear night.

"How is it??" Muzan called from below, snapping Tanjiro from his dazed state.

He stepped down the small stairs and looked at the man "why did you bring me here dad? Whose home is this?"

"It's yours Tanjiro. Everyone haloed to make it for you, do you forgive me now?"

Tanjiro pouted and sat down on the stair.

"I'm sorry Tanjiro"

"That's all I need to hear!" He beamed at the statement, all he needed to hear was a simple 'I'm sorry'

Muzan smiled finally when he got his sunshine back, squeezing Tanjiro in his arms comfortingly.

———————the next morning——————

"Good morning Oyakata-sama!" Mitsuri greeted Ubuyashiki with a smile as she got breakfast, giving the black haired man a sweet wave.

"Hello Mitsuri, how are you this morning?" He fondly responde, walking up to the pillar with a smile.

"I'm brilliant! Me and Tanjiro-kun were wondering wether we could... umm" Mitsuri mumbled, blushing a little from embarrassment.

"Mitsuri-san! I was looking for you so we could go see Oyakata-sa- oh! You've already found him!" Taniiro beamed, skipping down the hallway in search for the love pillar already.

"Oyakata-sama, can we do your makeup please please!"
