Ino was fuming, the man had just left her without answering any questions. So she did want any mad ten year old would do. She followed him.

Except, she wasn't just any mad ten year old. She was a Yamanaka just beginning to learn the arts of her clan. So by the time she had scared off the landlord (which took longer than expected) and found the apartment the two Uzumaki were in, she was ready to get some answers.

When she threw herself at the door it came open with ease, almost like it had been forcefully opened before. She barged in and found the man from before kneeling next to Naruto in front of a shrine. Naruto was still pretty thin and small for his age but now he had a little more muscle, like he had been working. And his hair was longer, definitely longer.

"Ino?" Naruto's eyes were wide open as he stared at his first friend. When the door was broken into he thought it was another drunk villager. So his heart was racing and he had shrunk behind his uncle a bit.

"YOU!! I'VE GOT A BONE TO PICK WITH THE BOTH OF YOU!" Ino marched forward, pointing the kunai at them in her rage.

Minori grimaced slightly before standing up. He knew intimidation shouldn't be used on children but his nephew was scared. A look on his face he recognized on himself many years ago.

"Excuse me, Ino was it? I must ask you to leave. You've broken our property and intruded on our privacy." He glared at her, increasing the intimidation he'd been using.

"Huh?" Then Ino blinked, the shrine! She had just ignored it when she barged in but they seemed to have been paying their respects.

"Oh I'm sorry. I was just- I mean i-" Ino rambled a bit, not knowing how to react.

"It's okay Ino you just surprised us. What are you doing here?" Naruto tilted his head slightly, still kneeling.

"I-He said he was your uncle so I came to see you. I haven't seen you in a while." Ino frowned and glanced at Minori from the corner of his eye.

"Huh? Oh this is Uncle Minori! I met him earlier today! He's my Mom's brother!!" Naruto grinned.

"Naruto, if you want to play with your friend it will have to wait. Right now we should start looking into the compound and making sure it's in good enough condition to live in." Minori frowned thoughtfully. What would his sister's home be like? It was pretty much the only land the Uzumaki had claim to in Konoha.

"Oh right! That's Mom's old house right? Where she used to live." Naruto smiled, ecstatic to visit the place. What would it be like? Would they be any pictures he could keep?

"Wait a second! What do you mean right now! It's almost ten!" Naruto was late to lots of things, but he was never late to sleep. In fact, didn't Ino have a curfew?

"WHAT!! Mom is gonna kill me! See you Naruto!"

Naruto smiled while his uncle looked out the window surprised at the time.

"Bye Ino."
