Chapter 12- Revolution

THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEW

"Where. Are. They." Shina growled with crimson eyes at the man that she was supposed to marry. She was chained to the wall somewhere, sweating profusely due to the poisoned ring sucking out her  chakra. She regained consciousness not too long ago, the nine tails chakra giving her the ability to move around and talk. The demon inside of her, despite it only being his chakra and not the real thing, was itching to get out. There was a dark part of her that she tried so hard to lock down...the pain, the jealousy, the anger she has been taught to hide or keep away was bursting at the seams. Takeda sat in front of her, sharpening a sword. His hair was out of its usual half ponytail, the anger he felt was evident in his features.

"Where they will be kept away...where they won't be bothering me...but you shouldn't be concerned about them darling. You should be more worried about yourself." Shinasui was so angry inside. Her sensei, Obito, taught her to remain cool and calm in times of trouble but she had a wildness to her that made her emotions unpredictable at times. Her emotions were so powerful...they drove the majority of her actions no matter how hard she tried to be the logical one out of her comrades. Takeda stopped sharpening his sword, lifting it up in the air.

"You see my love...I tried very hard to be the best lover I could be for you but you just kept pushing me away. And to think those men have been here with you for so long...I feel a little betrayed darling." Shina growled as Takeda stalked closer with the sword raised in the air, the steel katana shining brightly.

"Stay away from me." Shinasui hissed with venom laced in her words. Takeda smirked mischeviously, challenging her as he moved closer, the katana only a few feet away from her heart.

"Shinasui...baby...I thought you would have made a great wife. You are beautiful and strong...but that will of yours is hard to deal with...which is why I'm going to break you like a horse." Shina's eyes narrowed in speculation.

"What are you planning!?" Takeda sheathed his sword and instantly was in Shina's face, gripping the back of her sweaty hair harshly, raising a scream of pain out of her lungs.

"You ninja think you are all powerful. You have no idea what the samurai are capable of. First I'm going to destroy your pathetic village from the inside out...and then I'm going to kill all of your family...one by one. Starting with that blonde idiot." Takeda spoke referring to Naruto. That alone broke another wall Shinasui had built to keep the terrifying nine-tails chakra inside of her at bay. Despite not carrying the tailed beast, it was like having a phantom one inside of her...except she didn't have a seal like her brother or mother. Her lips became thin and dark, her eyes thickly outlined with black with the demonic eyes staring sharply at Takeda.

"And when I slice him in two...I'll kill Kakashi of the Sharingan and then that horrid Fifth Hokage....if she's even still alive." Takeda teased. He knew that Shinasui had no idea about her mother's condition, that the ring sucked out her chakra too. Shina growled like a wild animal...her voice deep and ferocious. Takeda unknowingly took a step backwards out of pure fear. The nine tails' chakra was no laughing matter.

"What? Are you saying you didn't know? That ring you're wearing right now is the same type of ring I placed on your mother the day we first met darling. She has been bedridden and on the brink of death for two months. What kind of daughter are you to not even respond to her father's letter...his cry for help?" Shina was breathing heavily, streaks of her usual silky silver hair was sticking to her face. Takeda gave her a devilish smile, his bright emerald eyes were gleaming with evil intentions.

"Oh that's right. I burned that letter. It'll be fun to kill her slowly while you watch...and then I'll rip the heart out of that boy you love so much." Shinasui yanked on her chains harshly, making a cracking sound while screaming in fury. Her canines were extremely long and sharp, accidentally cutting her own mouth with them. Blood dribbled on the side of her face while she pulled on the chains...however because of that ring, she was unable to use full strength.

"Why are you doing this?! Why are you attacking the Leaf!?" Takeda turned away from her and stopped in the doorway, about to leave the room she was in.

"Simply because I can. The Hidden Leaf is the strongest ninja village in the world and if we took it down -when we take it down- we, the samurai, will become the strongest warriors in the world. The age of the shinobi will end and the dawn of the samurai will rise." And with that, Takeda left her...locking her up in the room and leaving the key with the two guards stationed outside of it. Shinasui screamed in pure anger and fear...fear that she will not escape to save her village in time.

Konohamaru and Neji were put in the dungeon, along with the real prisoners the samurai have kept there. They were thin and dirty, clearly sitting in there for a while. One of the prisoners was not even thirteen years old...they were terrified.

"This is all your fault you idiot...now we don't even know what that samurai is doing to Lady Shinasui!" Neji yelled at Konohamaru. The spiky haired jonin had been trying to use the rasengan for the past hour, attempting to break the bars of their prison. However the bars were cursed by the Miyamoto clan, impervious to chakra.

"He was fucking attacking her Neji!! I wasn't going to stand around and let him fucking rape her! You know that's what he was going to do! You heard what he said to her at the restaurant the other day!" Konohamaru angrily argued back. The Hyuga got in his comrade's face, angry tears threatening to spill from his pale lavender eyes.

"AND SHE COULD BE DEAD NOW BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T USE YOUR HEAD!! I HAD A PLAN KONOHAMARU AND YOU RUINED IT! NOW SHE COULD BE DEAD OR THAT ASSHOLE'S RAGDOLL BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T FUCKING THINK!" Neji was never so angry before in his life. He was frustrated and upset. He planned on pretending to be the servant and knocking on Shinasui's door to grab Takeda's attention and tell him his father wanted to see him. It would have worked too, and he would have been able to save Shinasui for the night without worrying about her safety. Konohamaru's brash actions could have gotten her killed and the Sarutobi successor knew it. Konohamaru banged on the metal bars with his fists, angry tears quickly falling down his face.

"Damn it!" He sobbed, feeling enraged by the outcome of their scenario. He and Neji were sent to Tenzin to protect Shinasui and they potentially cost not only her life, but the lives of the villagers back home as well. Without Shinasui, Konoha was doomed to die. A feint grunting sound was made by the guards at the top of the dungeon's stairs, hidden from the prisoner's views. Everyone was silent in confusion, hearing moans of pain echo in the stone room. Suddenly, ten or so women in samurai garb walked in the room with the head servant Hani and a woman that looked similar to her. Hani was holding the keys to the cells in her hand, smiling at the prisoners.

"You all need not worry. We are the the daughters of the Fox Moon Spirit here to help you." The highly trained samurai warriors sheathed their swords, bowing at the waist at their new allies. Konohamaru had a wide grin on his face, wiping away his tears. Neji was stunned completely speechless.

"Hani?! Thank god you came!! We need to save Shina!!" The servant girl unlocked the cages that all of the prisoners were in, the group eternally thankful for the samurai women that saved them.

"The Fox Moon Spirit?" Neji questioned as he observed the women. The one next to Hani seemed the strongest out of the group. She was a beautiful curvaceous woman with mature facial features.

"Yes. We are all women that the Fox Moon Spirit has saved...although she goes by a different name that you know, we all are dedicated to the being that resembles her. We are the first generation of samurai women and are proud to be." The mature woman said.

"What are you saying?" Neji followed up. The woman smirked, happy to finally use her abilities in real life scenarios.

"Shinasui Hatake came to this village two months ago. She saved me long with these ten women from being personal concubines. She disguised herself as our famous spirit guide and protected us from a life of pain. She taught us how to protect ourselves and to save our fellow women. The only reason this group knows is because my sister caught her in the act of leaving the mansion." Hani nodded, standing next to the mature woman that actually ended up being her sister.

"It's true. Lady Shina has saved the women of this village, and now we need to repay her. I know where she is and it's about time we rescued her." The two boys nodded their heads, turning to the group of other freed Konoha shinobi. Neji spoke as the highest ranking ninja there, giving them orders.

"Return to the village as fast as possible and tell the Hokage what has happened. War is about to break out."

~~

The group of samurai women lead by Hani and her sister headed towards the secret quarters Shina was held in. The only problem is that it was heavily defended by guards.

"I will lead the charge with my group. You two need to get into the room and get her out of there as fast as possible. We are lucky that Lord Takeda and Lord Hattori have left with their personal army or this would have been impossible." Hani's sister spoke. The group understood their mission, the women itching to finally fight for something worthwhile. The samurai and two ninjas appeared in the hall where Shinasui was locked up in at the end. It was lined with guards that were fully alert of the scenario. They charged the group of women, unsuspecting they were as good as they were. The women fought with them, their beautifully made swords clashing against the guards, stabbing a few in their weak areas.

"Go now! We'll hold them off!" Hani's sister yelled. The two boys ran to the room in the back, seeing the entire thing was made of chakra proof steel. They tried opening the door but realized it was locked.

"Where's the key!?" Konohamaru gritted, anxiously wanted to retrieve Shinasui as fast as possible. Neji activated his byakugan and searched the fighting guards. One of the ones that were killed held a key in his pocket.

"There!" Neji locked on and went to the body, searching his pocket until he found a metal key. He ran to the door, unlocking it. The guards couldn't stop them because they were being overpowered by the women, all of them fearless of the possibility of death. Konohamaru saw Shinasui chained to a wall, sweaty and panting heavily, the ring sucking up every drop of her chakra.

"Shina!! I'm here!! I'm here to get you out!" The girl looked up, her eyes swollen from crying and her wrists completely cut up from pressing on the chains binding her. She was bleeding on her arms from the slicing of metal into her skin.

"Kono...Neji...you really did come for me." She gave them a painful smile. They removed the chains from her wrists, Konohamaru catching her weak body in his arms. The nine tails chakra was weakening, the only think left from her earlier outburst were her red eyes.

"I promised I would save you didn't I?" He gave her a soft kiss on the lips, one filled with passion and relief...relief that Shinasui was alive. Neji watched as the ring on Shinasui's hand shattered, falling onto the ground in pieces.

"The ring! It broke!" He stated in surprise. The women defeated the guards and walked in as Konohamaru and Shinasui's lips parted. The trio of ninjas looked surprised, Shinasui gaining the ability to stand on her own.

"I don't understand..." She gasped, looking at her bruised finger.

"It's one of the most powerful curses the Miyamoto clan casts." Hani spoke. Shinasui looked at her favorite servant and the samurai women that smiled at her.

"Hani? Ladies? What are you all doing here?" Shinasui forgot to pretend she wasn't the Fox Moon Spirit, causing a chuckle to release from their lungs.

"We are here to save you my Lady, for that is what you have done for us when we needed you." One of the women spoke. Shinasui swallowed hard.

"So you all know the truth..." She sighed. They nodded collectively, amused.

"We knew for awhile but it's just us, the elite that know. The others that we help do not. That's okay though...your secret is safe with us." Shina remembered that Hani was about to explain what had happened to her.

"Hani please continue what you were going to say." The servant girl nodded.

"The curse Takeda placed on the ring sucks away your chakra and weakens your body. The stronger you are the longer it takes and the less lethal it becomes. The fact you are standing now proves that you are very powerful. The only way to break that curse is to come in contact with a bond stronger than the curse...they call it 'true love'." Shinasui and Konohamaru looked at each other in awe. My true love...? They both thought to themselves. They were all interrupted when a lower ranking female samurai ran into the room.

"My Lady, the battle has been won! We have taken over the city!"

"What?!" Shinasui gaped. The group left the mansion as fast as possible, Shinasui heading to her room alone to gather her things and put it in a summoning scroll. She put on her ninja attire for the first time in months, wrapping her Konoha ninja headband around her forehead. She put her silver hair in a pony tail and smiled as she held her father/grandfather's tanto, the White Chakra Sabre. She went outside to see an entire army of women at the base of the palace, celebrating their victory. Around the city were guards whom have surrenders and plenty of others that were dead. Shinasui looked in the eyes of Hani, realizing that the moment for revolution was here and that she was the root of it. Shinasui alone began the greatest revolution in shinobi and samurai history.

"We need to find the sword to destroy the mirror." Shina swallowed a deep breath at her realization, turning to Kono and Neji with wide scarlet eyes.

"The what and what?" Konohamaru asked with eyebrows raised. She darted off towards the royal cemetery quickly, using her speed and the quickly regaining nine tails chakra to get there.

"No time to explain! Hurry!" The three ninjas found the grave sight of the founder of the Miyamoto clan hidden away in the furthest corner. It was clearly attempting to be hidden. Shinasui wasted no time in digging up the coffin.

"Earth Style: Ground Breaker!" She yelled, the earth raising the coffin to the surface so she didn't have to dig it out.

"Why are you digging up a grave Lady Shinasui?" Shinasui paid Neji no mind while she slid open the very old casket, finding a mostly decomposed skeleton inside holding the sword she saw in the painting.

"Bingo." She placed the sword in a different summoning scroll and turned away, not even bothering to bury the dead man again.

"We need to get back to Konoha as fast as possible. I'll explain on the way." The girl quickly found Hani and her sister, wishing them love and luck as they take control of the city they have been enslaved to their whole lives, promising to keep the Fox Moon Spirit identity a secret. Shinasui, Neji, and Konohamaru began racing back to Konoha to save their friends, family, and village.

If only they knew, the fight had already begun.
