THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEW

The crowd was cheering and celebrating their newly elected Hokage. The smiling woman was on top of the world, everything seemed to be falling into place for her...everything seemed to be alright. Her kids and husband joined her after she was officially inaugurated, her robe fitting her like a glove. Minako subconsciously touched the necklace Minato gave her all those years ago, something, just like Obito's bracelet, that she never took off. She knew Obito was probably watching her from a distance somewhere and that her sister and brother-in-law were smiling down upon her. Itachi was with her on one side with Sasuke and Kakashi on the other with Naruto and Shinasui. She felt one with the world, her family, and now her village.

She was never happier.

A deafening explosion was heard towards the eastern area of the village, immediately gathering everyone's attention. Smoke was billowing towards the sky; the crowd began to panic and scream, running towards their homes.

"What on earth?!" Hiruzen exclaimed. Jiraiya turned and nodded towards his student, indicating that he was going to check it out. He ran off and Minako immediately turned to the horde of Anbu units on duty and directed orders.

"I want six units around the village guiding and protecting the people until we figure out what is going on. Your first priority is to protect them from any harm, the second is to reassure and calm them. Hurry!" Minako stared in disbelief that none of the units moved to accomplish her demands.

"What's the meaning of this?! Get on with it! The people need to be protected!" Minako yelled at them. Only then did she realize that their uniforms were slightly different from the average Anbu. Minako gasped and immediately raised a kunai, positioning her body to stand in front of her family.

"Kakashi get the kids out of here." Kakashi furrowed his eyebrows before standing his ground, pulling out a kunai along with Itachi who pulled out a katana.

"We aren't leaving you Minako." Itachi demanded. Minako was panicked. Shinasui was clinging onto Naruto in fear, terrified for their parents.

"Naruto get Shinasui out of here!!" Mina shouted. The ROOT forces grew in numbers by the minute, completely out numbering the Hokage along with her husband, student, and predecessor. Naruto wouldn't budge. Why wouldn't anyone listen to her?!

"No way am I leaving you! Not if someone is going to hurt you, believe it!" Mina was furious but just wanted her children out of there. She turned to Sasuke and without her even saying a word, he nodded.

"Got it."

Sasuke tossed Naruto over his shoulders and carried Shinasui delicately in his arms, jumping off of the Hokage mansion and safely escaping. Minako was finally relieved and could defend herself properly now.

"Hiruzen, please gather the remaining loyal Anbu forces and the jonins and have them scatter across the village to protect the people, there is a rebellion happening here." Hiruzen followed her orders and left as well, knowing full well that this was the moment that the Hokage had to prove herself to the village.

"Why are you doing this?" Minako asked the traitors that grouped before her, Kakashi, and Itachi. Only one responded, the possible captain of the rebel unit.

"Our master believes in destruction of the broken in order to rebuild into a new world. This village is broken and we are here to turn it into rubble so we can rebuild with our master as the leader to guide it into prosperity." Minako knew exactly who they were following and now she knew why. She couldn't allow for the village to be destroyed, not when she was Hokage...the protector of the village.

"I will die before I let you traitors destroy this village! This is our place, our life, our home! You may tear me down, you make break my bones and cut my skin, but you will never extinguish the will of fire that burns in my veins! As Hokage of this village, I will obliterate any and all that threaten our people!" Minako spoke with power, Kurama getting excited by the danger in the air. Kakashi stood by his wife protectively and Itachi prepared to defend his long time love. It was three against them all and perhaps if it was anyone but those three together, death would be the only possible outcome.

"Impressive words for a child." That gravely voice was one she hated for years, the one she knew was going to come after her one day or another.

"Danzo." Mina's voice seethed with venom. The man walked through the crowd of protective ROOT forces before standing in front of them. Itachi clenched his fists tightly, his sharingan blazing. Kakashi followed suit and moved his headband up to reveal his eye.

"Pulling out all of the stops for me already? I'm honored. Not as honored as I am standing before the Fifth Hokage." He growled.

"Today is the day you will pay for my fallen clan and family." Itachi was furious. This man was the cause of all the pain and devastation in his life and now he was trying to take away the only person he loved as much as his brother. Danzo laughed.

"You are severely out numbered and over powered. Everyone that has ever supported you will die. I'd love to see the Hokage protect her village now." In that instant, Danzo flew towards her immediately attacking, three ROOT on each side separated Kakashi and Itachi from her. Mina immediately flickered into bijuu mode and summoned chakra chains to submit Danzo. She only caught a clone however and felt his chakra behind her. He tried to stab her but she used the Fourth's kunai to teleport behind and in front of him, back and fourth in order to confuse him. In a moment of distraction, she was able to flicker to him with a rasengan in hand, hitting him directly.

"You...punk...you will die!" Danzo removed the wrappings around his eye and arms, causing Minako to gasp with shock written all over her features.

"Y-you're a monster! A murderer and a monster!" It was only until she glanced up that she realized that Shisui's eye was implanted on him as well.

"Shisui..." She gaped with her mouth open. Her eyes burned red, her hair was glowing.

"A personal favorite I might add." Danzo spoke about Shisui's eye as if it was a toy. Minako was so furious, more of Kurama's chakra was released, becoming slightly unstable.

"Die!" Mina screamed.

Sasuke took Naruto and Shinasui towards their neighborhood in order to protect them, something Naruto was pissed about.

"Sasuke! Get your paws off my sister and I!!" Shinasui was crying heavily until Sasuke released her. She immediately ran to Naruto who hugged her tightly with a look of concern on his face.

"I want Mommy!!" Naruto soothed her before turning towards his teammate.

"What's the big idea?? My mom needs me!" Sasuke shook his head before glaring at Naruto.

"You idiot! You'll only be in the way. She's the Hokage and is the strongest ninja in the village. She can handle it." Immediately they were knocked off their feet when another explosion erupted. The two were separated from the little girl, a ROOT ninja threatening the boys.

"First you die, then the girl." Sasuke looked at Naruto who nodded at his teammate. Sasuke grabbed Naruto's arms and spun him around, throwing him at the ninja. The ninja dodged Naruto but didn't realize he had summoned clones. The real Naruto flew in front of him along with several other dozen clones. They held him down until Sasuke came in front of them with a handsign.

"Fire Style: Fireball jutsu!" The real Naruto dodged right in time but the ROOT ninja was not so lucky. He was burned severely by Sasuke's jutsu, resulting in the boys' victory. However, when they looked over at Naruto's little sister, she was not as lucky.

"Stay away from me!" Shinasui screamed as hot and heavy tears fell down her face. She threw pebbles and rocks at the ROOT ninja but it was obvious she was going to die any second now.

"Die." The ROOT ninja raised his sword and slashed down, only to be greeted by two hands that were heavily bleeding from stopping the blade.

"No! You will not hurt her!" The two hands belonged to the prized Hyuga princess, Hinata, who appeared last second to save her crush's baby sister.

"So you want to die too? So be it." The ninja came after Hinata who slapped away any attempts of the sword stabbing her by using gentle fist. The chakra that coated her hands grew bright blue before she was able to steal a hit on her opponent. She moved a palm forward and back, eight trigrams appearing on the ground as she activated her byakugan.

"Two." She hit two more times.

"Four."

"Eight."

"Sixteen." She was hitting all of the pressure points in the opponent's body, blood slightly oozing from his mouth.

"Thirty two." Her hands were moving so fast that Shinasui was blind to what Hinata was doing.

"Sixty Four! Eight trigrams sixty four palms!" The young Hinata successfully protected the little girl on her own, knocking the ROOT ninja completely useless. Hinata was so proud of herself for being able to use that jutsu for the first time successfully. Maybe Neji will finally accept her. Hinata quickly got over herself and moved over to comfort Shinasui who was terrified.

"P-princess H-hinata?" Shinasui gasped. Hinata smiled at her before wiping off her bloody hands with a cloth in her pouch.

"Yes, I am here to protect you." She spoke with her soft delicate voice. Shinasui ran to hug Hinata's legs, the dirt from her face got onto Hinata's pants. Naruto and Sasuke were able to climb the rubble and greet the two girls. Naruto immediately ran for his sister and cradled her in his arms.

"Shinasui I am so sorry believe it. Are you okay?" The little girl snuggled in her big brother's arms further before nodding.

"Yeah. All thanks to Princess Hinata. She saved me and beat up the bad guy." Naruto and Sasuke looked at the bleeding Hyuga with surprise in their eyes. Naruto put Shinasui down and hugged Hinata tightly.

"Hinata I am forever in your debt. Thank you for saving Shina, I could never repay you." Hinata's face burned bright red and she looked like she was going to faint.

"Y-y-you're welcome."

As the kids went to seek refuge and find their friends, Mina was facing off with Danzo. Her body was covered in blood orange chakra, five tails formed behind her. Her eyes were a mix between Kurama's and the orange sage eyes. Danzo was using his ablities with the sharingan on her but considering she's been immersed with the Uchiha's for so long, she knew all of the moves. Danzo was, for the first time in his life, scared for his survival. He never realized just how strong Minako was when she went all out. He was frightened of the beast he had unleashed upon himself.

"Who did you kill for those sharingan eyes Danzo? What are the names of the Uchiha you sacrificed for your evil deed?!" Danzo hissed at her.

"The Uchiha were backstabbing criminals. They were nothing more than tools for destruction." Mina was furious in the memory of her friends. She attacked head on, another tail forming behind her. She was too fast for Danzo to see and she ended up hitting him so hard in the face that he fell towards the earth, creating a crater on impact. She followed through by repetitively hitting him in the face while he bled in the dirt.

"This...is...for...Mikoto!" She kept hitting Danzo who desperately tried to throw Minako off of him but failed to succeed. Her chakra chains wrapped around his neck, arms, and legs, binding him to his inevitable fate.

"This...is...for...Fugaku!" Itachi ran towards her as she cried into her hits. The sixth tail had finished forming, her body began to be taken over by Kurama...the seal was weakening. Her skin began to flake and peel off, revealing the beast inside.

"Y-you..are..s-so...i-ignorant." Danzo coughed out blood. It was obvious the old man was going to die soon...yet he was only one part of the plan.

"What?!" Minako growled in a double voice. Danzo smiled a devilish evil grin.

"Did you really think I did this attack by myself?" Itachi stood at the top of the crater, about to jump down to stop Minako from releasing the beast.

"Who did this with you" Her voice changed. Danzo chuckled.

"Like I said...the Uchiha's are traitors...it isn't surprising he betrayed you."

"WHO!?" Danzo shook his head.

"The same man that killed your family 12 years ago." Minako lost it, forming a rasengan in her hand as her chains burned into him. She lost more skin as she screamed into hitting Danzo for the final time.

"FOR SHISUI!!" Danzo's eyes went dark as he sputtered out blood, his body becoming cold like his heart. Mina stood, breathing heavily and crying. She was losing to the nine-tails chakra. As the last bit of who she was was hoping to flake off, a hug from behind startled her.

"Minako. Come back to me." His voice soothed the beast, his sharingan was being used to force it back inside her.

"Everything is okay now. Come back to me." Mina obeyed and fell into his arms, Itachi alone being able to calm the beast with his touch and voice. After all, love always conquers evil.

"Shh Minako you're with me. I'll never let you go." Itachi consoled the crying woman.

"We...we finally did it...we...we avenged the Uchiha."

Kakashi was finished with his battle and went to go find his wife when someone blocked his path.

"After being in the shadows so long...I can finally come out and play. It's been awhile Kakashi." The man's voice was unknown to Kakashi, however he recognized the sharingan eye that matched his own.

"Who are you?? Take off that mask!"

"Always so straight to the point...so unlike how your wife is when I hold her and kiss her." Kakashi was immediately triggered.

"WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?" With a smile, the man removed his mask.

"Are you that old now Kakashi that you forgot the boy who gave you that eye?" Kakashi froze solid, everything in his life came crashing down on him. Everything he thought he knew...everything he felt for the past 16 years...here it was...standing in front of him.

"Obito."
