Jongho was distracted as he worked the fields.

He wanted to do something for Wooyoung since he had told him he was scared to have kids. Sure they didn't know if Wooyoung was even a carrier, and really, if he wasn't pregnant by now then he probably wasn't. But the idea of being a father honestly terrified him.

So he wanted to find some other way to do something special for him.

He thought for hours about what he could do and eventually decided to visit Yunho at the library. His friend seemed upset about something, but Jongho knew not to ask him about it. Yunho would talk to him when he was ready.

Plus he was too embarrassed about his confession to really be able to focus on anything.

He had a few hours to go through the books before Wooyoung was done at the daycare, so he hurried back to his house and sat on the bed.

Three books stared back at him, making it obvious that he didn't even know where to begin. So he sighed and picked up the first one.

As Jongho flipped through the pages, he started to feel overloaded with information. There was stuff about holidays, birthdays, something called Earth Day, electing leaders, religion, and many more things that he had never heard of before.

He had to admit, life in the old world seemed to be really fun and carefree with all the things people used to do together. He spent a great deal of time reading about something called Christmas and how it was a religious holiday, which from what he could gather, religion in the old world was a lot like praying to the sea goddess Aurora. And for the holiday, it was a time to be together with family and exchange gifts.

Jongho sighed and rubbed his eyes. This all sounded great, but he didn't see how this 'Santa Claus' was going to help him with Wooyoung.

He got to the last book and mindlessly flipped through the pages, not really absorbing anything anymore.

But then something caught his attention and he stopped.

It was a picture of a man and a woman facing each other holding hands. The woman had on a long, elaborate dress and the man had some fancy outfit on.

He scanned quickly through the words on the page and felt his heart start to pound. This was it. This is exactly what he had been looking for.

Jongho grabbed the books and ran them to the library. Yunho wasn't there, so he just set two of the books on the desk before running back out. He looked around until he spotted a head of bright red hair.

"Hongjoong!" He called out, running up to his captain.

"Hey Jongho!" The older smiled at him, tilting his head. "What's up?"

"I need to ask a favor of you." Jongho bent over to catch his breath. "The next time you go out, can you look for any books on this?" He held open the book to the page in question.

Hongjoong took the book and read through the page, a small smile coming to his face. He returned his gaze to his young friend and raised an eyebrow, causing Jongho to turn bright red.

"You want more information on..."

"Yes, yes. I do. It's... I want to do something for Wooyoung." Jongho ran his foot through the sand at this feet. "I uh, basically told him that I don't want kids."

"Oh." Hongjoong said, suddenly looking worried. "Is he ok?"

"I think so, he said he was fine with it. But I still, you know..."

Hongjoong placed a hand on Jongho's shoulder. "I'll keep an eye out. We are actually going to be heading out in a few days."

"Already?" This surprised Jongho. Usually they waited a few weeks before heading back out again.

"Yeah... Mingi has something he needs to get done, and the last city we went too was pretty sparse, so we wanted to get back there to try and get some more supplies for here since we can probably get away with taking a little more than normal. I'm hoping it will be a short trip though and then we will stay here for a longer time than normal to make up for it."

"Well, thank you for helping me." Jongho said, feeling himself blush a little again.

"It's no problem at all! I can't make any promises, but I will do my best."

They hugged quickly and Jongho turned around to head back home to go see his favorite person in the world.
