"Eh?! He rejected you?!", Mafumafu asked shocked as Satomi laughed lightly nodding. "I was very surprised too. Everyone thought he'd say yes after he looked so satisfied and such. But at that moment, his only interest were his games.", Satomi said. "Then how did you convince him to the point that he is acting out all of your scripts now?", Mafumafu asked tilting his head. "Well..."

"No, thank you.", Colon declined with a smile as Satomi froze while everyone looked shocked. Everyone besides Jel that is, who only laughed so hardly and slapped his knee several times, holding his stomach in pain.

"Why?", Satomi asked still shocked from the blunt rejection. "Why? I only did this because Jel-kun asked me to. Also I don't like your piece. It's boring.", Colon stated bluntly as everyone in this room started murmuring with each other.

"B-boring?", Satomi repeated as the blue-haired male let go of the other's hands to jump over to Jel. "Now that I'm finished, let's go and buy that game!", Colon shouted.

"Sure sure~ But can that wait until we've finished?", Jel asked as the other male huffed but nodded. "Fine! I'll just go into the library and wait for you there! See you later!", Colon shouted before he ran out of the gym, leaving the others behind.

"You guys can also go~ We'll put the results on the blackboard when we're finished~", Jel informed them as the students left the gym, leaving only Jel and Satomi back in the gym.

Jel then walked over to the pink-haired male who had his eyes fixated on the ground. "No one has ever told me that my pieces were boring. And even so bluntly, directly into my face...", Satomi said as Jel patted the other's back.

"Now now, Colon-kun is just that blunt~ And he's no professional so don't take it to your heart~", Jel consoled him as Satomi nodded.

"But that surprised me. He was so bad at first and that change was way too drastic.", Satomi said as Jel laughed nodding.

"He may be a genius and all but his way of acting is not really the way most people would like it~ Some people act with their feelings and all, right? But Colon-kun doesn't really act with feelings. He acts with his pride.", Jel said as Satomi raised his eyebrow confused.

"His pride?", he repeated as Jel nodded. "Yup~ He acts with his pride~ You must have noticed, right? When you first told him to act in the group, he just did so because I asked him to. He didn't really care so the result was that what you saw~ The second time, when you started to provoke him...", Jel trailed off to see if Satomi would understand it as the pink-haired male widened his eyes.

"He actually felt insulted and because his pride was on the line... he acted well?", Satomi asked. "Ding ding ding~ That's exactly it~", Jel cheered as the other male sighed. "Seriously? I would have used that to make him act for me but... he doesn't even like my piece...", Satomi muttered to himself and Jel could only laugh again at that.

"Well, thing about Colon-kun is that he may act on pride but... if your piece really moves him, he will even give you a better act than what you just saw~", Jel chirped. "That's it. I'll go and convince him now.", Satomi said as he started packing his things. "What about the judging? We still have to do that together. Satomi—", before Jel could even finish his sentence, Satomi already rushed out, leaving the orange-haired male behind.

There was a short silence before he clutched his heart. "Ah! Left behind by my comrades! Now I'm standing here all alone!", Jel exclaimed dramatically before he spotted a familiar purple-haired male walking by.

"Oh, Naa-kun! Let's get ramen together!", Jel exclaimed before running up to the purple-haired male, leaving the gym alone.

The next day, Satomi and Jel would both get a lot of scolding from their teacher.

Colon was sitting in the library, in a far corner as he was pulling his legs up, having his knees up to his chest as he was reading through a book, mumbling some words to himself. He was so immersed in the book that he didn't hear the door open and someone step inside and only realized someone was here, when a hand lightly tapped his shoulder.

"Jel-kun! You're finally here— Why are you here?!", Colon screeched as some students shushed him, silently telling him to shut up.

"I want you to be my actor.", Satomi simply said with a smile as the blue-haired male huffed and shifted away. "And I don't want to. Find someone else or something.", Colon said as he buried his face back into his book.

"But I want you. Is there no way to convince you?", Satomi asked as the blue-haired male closed his book annoyed and stood up. "No! Not unless you can surpass Shakespeare! Why are you even here and not Jel-kun?!", Colon asked annoyed as the students shushed him again.

"Ugh, whatever. If he won't come, I'll go home!", Colon said as he stormed out of the library, leaving Satomi back there.

"What's wrong with that guy?! First saying that I can't act and then not stopping to pester me...", Colon muttered for himself annoyed. "Whatever! I just won't come to this school again and then I should be fine!", Colon said as he messaged Jel, saying he'd go home. He then ran back to his house so he could play games and forget about this day.

Colon gripped his bag tightly as he looked at the school gate in disbelief.

There, leaning against the school entrance, was the same pink-haired guy from yesterday who pestered him. "Is something wrong, Colon-kun?", a red-haired male asked as he walked with a blond male next to the blue-haired male who nodded.

"Yeah... This guy over there, Satomi was his name I think, is probably here to ask me to be his actor again... Can you guys help me to avoid him?", Colon asked as the redhead nodded and was about to say something when the blond male interrupted him and spoke up first.

"Oi~ Satomi-san! Over here!", the blond male called in his usual tone as Colon snapped his head to look at the school entrance in panic to see that Satomi heard him.

"Root! What the heck?!", he shouted as he was about to run away when Root started to grab him and hold him in place with the same usual smile he always had. Satomi had run over to them in the meanwhile as the blue-haired male was still struggling to get away.

"Colon, there you are~", the pink-haired male said as Colon gave up on running away as the grip of Root was so tight that he couldn't get away. So he just crossed his arms instead as he glared at the other male. "How did you find out that I go here?", Colon asked as Satomi remained unfazed by the glare and continued on talking.

"Jel told me before that you go to Sakuragaoka Middle School and that's how I found you.", Satomi answered as he then noticed a redhead and the blond male holding the blue-haired male.

"Thanks for holding him here so I could talk to him.", Satomi thanked the blond who only returned the smile. "It's fine. It's the student council's job after all.", he said smiling.

"No, it's not?! What are you talking about?!", Colon screeched as Riinu finally spoke up. "Root-kun... How about we let Colon-kun go?", he spoke up feeling bad for his friend.

"Why? Someone wants to talk to him after all~ Wouldn't it be impolite for him to leave then?", he asked as Colon gulped when he saw that smile. "Well, here you go. You can have him~ We originally wanted to go with us three but that can wait until another time.", Root said as he shoved Colon towards Satomi who had to catch him.

"See you tomorrow then, Colon-kun! Make sure to do all the work you're going to miss today!", Root exclaimed smiling as he took Riinu by his wrist and walked off.

Colon only wanted to go with them but was too shocked as he just stood there speechless.

"If it's about me acting for you, the answer stays the same! I. Don't. Want. To! Not only that but because of you, I have to do all of the work later!", Colon groaned. "What kind of work?", Satomi asked as Colon pulled away from the pink-haired male and crossed his arms.

"Student council work...", Colon answered. "What?! You are in the student council?", Satomi asked, emphasizing the you of the sentence. "What's so surprising about that?!", Colon asked. "Well, you look like you hate work and just want to play games. Never expected that you would be in the student council.", Satomi said as Colon merely huffed and looked away.

"Anyways, I'll go back home now if all you wanted was to convince me to act for you. Stop wasting time for the both of us.", the blue-haired male said. "Well, I actually came with another reason today...", Satomi said as he pulled out two tickets, holding them up while Colon perked up interested.

"Want to go to the theatre for a Romeo and Juliet performance?", he asked as Colon's expression turned from a scowl to an excited one for the first time. "A Shakespeare piece?! I wanna!", Colon exclaimed.

"He took the bait...", Satomi thought himself. He had asked Jel about ways to convince Colon the day before. And as soon as he asked, the orange-haired male replied that the blue-haired male loved Shakespeare pieces.

He then looked up for some tickets for the latest performance and that's how this happened. Satomi was just glad that he had found a way to start this as he only smiled at Colon. "Great. Let's go then."

"That was great! Despite Romeo that is!", Colon exclaimed happily as he stretched when they exited the performance hall. "It was alright I guess. The people's acting weren't that good. Especially from—". "Especially from Mercurio's actor? Agreed!", Colon exclaimed and Satomi only widened his eyes slightly before nodding.

"The piece itself was written really well though. Shakespeare is one of the only writers I respect.", Satomi as Colon hummed in agreement.

"Yup! He's the best! All of his characters are great! Besides Romeo!", he added at the end as Satomi sweat-dropped.

"What do you have against Romeo?", Satomi asked as Colon's mood sunk immediately which didn't go unnoticed by the other male.

"Romeo... is stupid. He saw his Juliet in front of him dead and immediately decided to kill himself without doing anything. He never checked if she was actually alive. And then he ended his life, not even considering the feelings of the other people. Sure, Juliet was his love.

But he was still young. Could have continued to live his life. Could have done his best to survive. Instead he took the easy way out. What about his family? Or other people. He left all of them behind without considering their feelings. He's weak.", Colon said in a judging manner.

Satomi was honestly surprised by that answer. He didn't expect Colon to have thought this deeply about this as it was like the blue-haired male had actually lived through this story.

"Sounds like you have been in a familiar situation before. Is... that the reason why you rejected acting for me?", Satomi asked when he suddenly realized that this might just have been the reason why he was rejected.

His script was heavily inspired by Romeo and Juliet, his protagonist being very similar to Romeo. If Colon hated Romeo that much then it wouldn't be a surprise for him not wanting to act like the role he hated the most.

"I read through it before coming here... I didn't want to join cause I saw that the script ended with the protagonist committing suicide because he couldn't have his love. I hate those roles. They remind me of someone I don't want to remember.", Colon mumbled as he looked down.

"Being left behind... hurts...", Colon whispered as he stopped walking.

Satomi noticed this as he stopped as well, looking behind him, surprised to see the blue-haired male having tears in his eyes.

He hadn't known the other male for long but according to Jel, Colon was prideful and would never ever risk to set his pride down in front of people. Which is why Satomi was surprised to see the younger male's facade break in front of him.

"I don't even know why I told you this. I'll go home now! You get it now so just leave me alone!", Colon said as he turned to walk back home.

But he was stopped by the taller male who pulled him back. "You said that you hated being left behind, right?", Satomi asked as Colon only tilted his head confused. "What the hell are you talking about?", Colon asked confused.

"You hate being left behind. Being left alone. What if I said that I wouldn't leave you behind?", Satomi asked. "What nonsense are you spouting now? You are just doing everything for me to be your protagonist...", Colon said wiping his tears away as Satomi hummed.

"Well, that was my reason yes. But if you make a contract with me, I'll be with you and can't leave you behind right? So how about making a contract with me in exchange for being my actor?", Satomi asked. "Why would I— Wait! Contract?! You know about that?!", Colon asked as Satomi nodded.

"Jel.", he merely replied as Colon felt the need to punch the orange-haired male.

"Alright, I won't question this any more then but tell me this: What good would it do for me to form a contract with you and then acting for you?", Colon asked. "I would make you see a whole new world. With my scripts and your acting, I know that we'll conquer this world of acting. And I... would promise to never leave you behind.", Satomi added as Colon widened his eyes.

"What?", he asked. "No matter what happens. No matter how sad I am. No matter how much I want to disappear from this world. I will promise to stay here until my life ends.", Satomi proposed before he lifted up a fist, holding it out to Colon.

"This promise in exchange for your acting. Doesn't that sound good?", he asked as Colon thought about it for a while.

"You... are really doing what it takes for acting, huh? That's at least one thing I could like about you... Fine! I'll trust you with this then! Be thankful!", Colon agreed as he wiped his last remaining tears away with his sleeve as Satomi laughed.

"Will you form a contract with me then? Servamp of Pride?", Satomi asked as he still had his hand up as Colon looked up at him, giving him a bright smile. "I accept your offer! You better keep this promise! Eve of mine!", Colon exclaimed cheekily as he lifted his fist as well, as they both gave each other a fist bump before making their contract at the very same day. And that was how the Pride Pair became partners.

"That was so moving...", Mafumafu sniffed as he reached for some tissues while Satomi only laughed. "Not really. I'm glad you think so though.", Satomi said as he waited for Mafumafu to calm down. Soon after, the door slid open as the others stepped inside. Satomi noticed this as he stood up and walked up to them.

"What took you so long? We didn't come here for fun, Colon.", Satomi scolded as he lightly bonked the head of the shorter male who slapped the other's hand away.

"Shut up! I have to get some time to relax from your slavery!", he shouted as Satomi laughed. "I am not doing that. Don't pretend as if you haven't just run away from work the whole time.", Satomi said as Colon gasped.

"How dare you! I'm working all day!", Colon said before they started arguing. Soraru just sighed tiredly as he walked up to Mafumafu and sat down next to him.

"Those two just have to bicker as soon as we came in...", Soraru said as Mafumafu giggled making the older male look at the albino confused.

"What is it? Rather than looking stressed from us not making a plan you look kind of amused by all of this.", Soraru noted as Mafumafu turned to look at the ravenette and smiled nodding.

"Well, it's just... despite those two bickering the whole time, you can just see that they get along. I admire that about them.", Mafumafu explained as Soraru merely hummed.

"I guess...", he said before both of them turned their attention to the Pride pair bickering. Colon was shouting at the other male who only laughed and pushed the shorter male's head slightly down ruffling it.

A few seconds later, both of them were laughing at each other for acting this childish as always.

Seeing that and thinking of what Satomi told him, made Mafumafu smile gently thinking to himself that, despite them acting like they fought the whole time, they still were very close friends after all.
