"(Y/N)-san?" You snapped out of your thoughts as you look at Nanamori "You were staring at the wall"

You laughed nervously at this "I was?" He nods his head "Well, it was just that, I am to preoccupied with the exams coming up"

Nanamori can see through your lie but he doesn't want to make you feel uncomfortable once he mentions it

"I see" Nanamori let out a sigh "I can't agree more with that" He looks up at the sky "Exams are really a pain in the ass"

You giggled at his choice of words "I didn't know Na-kun can be like this"

Nanamori's face were painted in red "E-Eh? I was always like this!"

"Na-kun, your face is red" You mentioned as Nanamori immediately looked away from you

Nanamori slapped his face twice before facing you again

You laughed at the hand marks on his face "Oh my god Na-kun!"

"Don't laugh at meeeee!" He whined as you just sat there while laughing at him

Nanamori P.O.V

When?

Since when were you wearing such a perfect mask?

A mask that hides your sadness and your bitter past

Your mask hides your negative emotions

You fooled others by wearing that mask

But you cannot fool me

(Y/N)-san...

"Mori-san!" Jel lightly hit his head using his notebook

"Ow-! What was that for, Jel-kun?" Nanamori hold his head where he was hit

"You were staring at (Y/N)-san while writing down" Jel said as Nanamori's face went red again "Ah your face is red"

Nanamori ignored what Jel said and continued on writing

'Did I say something wrong?' Jel thought as he also writes notes

After the exam

You and Nanamori sat down at the rooftop without saying anything

Nanamori easily passed the exam and same goes for you

But Nanamori can't hold it any further, his thoughts were bugging him

"(Y/N)-san" You hummed but you saw a serious Nanamori looking at you "How long will you hide under that mask?"

Your vision blurred as tears gathered in your eyes "W-What are you saying, Na-kun?"

"It hurts me!" You flinched at his sudden outburst "It hurts me to see you pretending like you are fine!"

"It hurts me to see you laughing with the others but you were hiding it!"

"It hurts me to see that you are smiling even if you are in pain!"

"It hurts me to see you hiding behind your mask that fooled everyone!"

You remained speechless as he broke down into tears

"I don't want to see you like this..." His voice cracked then he looks at you with tears streaming down "Please (Y/N)-san, stop pretending and be the person you always want to be" He said as he puts you into his arms "I love you, (Y/N)-san"

"N-Na-kun" Your tears also flowed down your cheeks as you hugged him back "Na-kun, please don't leave me"

Nanamori smiled at this and pulled away from the hug to look at you

"I won't, (Y/N)-san" Nanamori said with a smile and his face leaned closer to yours

You closed the gap between your lips and you two shared the sunset together

And the mask you were wearing, disappeared and you want to cherish Nanamori all of your life

Satomi and Jel looked at the scoreboard of the third year exam

"Aha as expected" Satomi saw your name above Nanamori's

"Na-kun is always getting first place and that's not a surprise" They walked away from the scoreboard

"You think Na-kun confessed?" Satomi looked at Jel and he received a shrug

"Na-kun was always hiding his feelings for (Y/N)-san" Jel said as Satomi agreed to this

"Well, I wish he can, I totally want to see them together"
