Arthur's P.O.V

Alfred and I had a lot of fun that night. We agreed that he'd come to my house on Friday night and I'd play some guitar for him. He was really surprised to learn that I play, which is strange because I carry my own guitar to school with me for music lessons, but that doesn't shock me because he's not very smart.
Whilst we were at his house, however, I kept seeing him glancing over to his phone. He was clearly texting someone but he said it was nothing whenever I asked so I ignored it.

Come 9pm, we were both tired from laughing and messing around so much, so he decided to walk me home.
"Hey, at least, this way, I'll know where we're going on Friday!" He turned to me and gave me a huge smile as we walked home together, side by side.
"Yeah, that's very true. It wouldn't surprise me if you still got lost, though."
"Hey! I'm not that stupid! If that your house?"
I sighed. "Yes, it is. Thank you for walking me home, Alfred. If there's anything I can do to repay you, let me know."
At this point, it seemed as if he stopped for a moment and thought to himself, but it might have just been me. I decided to ignore it, however.
     "No problem, Artie!"
He used that dumb nickname again but I decided to ignore it again and just smile as I walked into my house and out of his sight.

I got into my house, dropping my bag on the floor next to the stairs and running up towards my bedroom before falling onto the bed and exhaling deeply into my pillow, ignoring this strange feeling I had in my stomach.
The feeling felt as though I had a stomach ache, though it was a happy feeling. Slightly odd, but I ignored it and crawled under my covers before taking off my shoes, socks and trousers, leaving on only my shirt and boxers.
After shuffling into a calm and relaxing position, I closed my eyes and got some well earned rest.
