Crumpet shook off his Santa hat that his owner had given him. It was far too itchy for him, geez! He laid down on a couch near the Christmas tree, watching his owners gather together and open presents.

"I wonder if we have presents as well" Hero said, startling him. His tail poofed and he hissed at his lover. "You idiot, don't scare me like that"

Hero chuckled and laid down next to Crumpet. "Didn't mean to. I just dont wanna be left out on this holiday. I want some treats!" His eyes sparkled.

Crumpet rolled his eyes, yet still cuddled up to his love. "I hope so too...though you might take them all from me" He giggled. Hero pouted and bumped his head against Crumpets' own.

"Not true! They'll be yours! I'll have my own huge bag!" Hero purred and cuddled with his lover. Little did they know, they did in fact have more than just a bag of treats...

Arthur had a smile as Alfred dragged him to the living room. "Sweetheart, calm down!" Christmas was a nice holiday, but goodness.

"No way, baby! We have so many presents to open!" Alfred let his lover go when he got to the tree full of presents.

The time went by quite fast, both having pure joy of the present. Alfred, being such a get he was, had given Arthur gifts such as stuffed unicorns, expensive jewelry, cute dresses, and many more girly type gifts he knew Arthur would love.

As for Arthur's gifts to Alfred, they were a mix of video games, consoles, action figures, and posters of his favorite super heroes. It was fun watching him squeal in happiness as he opened the gifts and saw them.

There were two gifts left; one for Alfred and one for Arthur. "Mm open mine first, babe!" Arthur giggled and nodded. He took the quite small gift and slowly opened it. The wrapping revealed a small green box.

"Alfred, you idiot!" He laughed and saw the box, laughing at the fact the box was green of all colors. Seriously, he was such an idiot sometimes. Alfred chuckled and poked his lovers nose. "Just open it, beautiful!"

Arthur rolled his eyes playfully and opened the box. He gasped and covered his mouth looking up at Alfred, only to see his love take the box and get down on one knee. This can't be..no no..

"Arthur, you mean the world to me. You are so sweet, loving, caring, and so much more. I wanna take it a step forward, just for us. To be together and live the dream life together. Even with all the challenges, we made it work and still will. Will you do me the great honor and marry me?"

Arthur, at this point, was crying. He could barely nod before yelling out. "YES!" He jumped on top of Alfred, still crying hard. Alfred chuckled a bit, tears running down his own cheeks. This Christmas was much different than any other.

And to think of it, all the other Christmas' and holidays wont be the same. They're together now permanently. Who knows, maybe they'd have kids and share it as well. The special gift of love.

"TREATS!!!!" Hero scratched open the treat bag and began eating them.
