Written for Rory-Kirkland the biggest Hetalia fan by far- lol

I'm so sorry I haven't updated in a long long time, I just haven't had motivation for this story, though I have it all planned out?!! It's weird. Enjoy!!

Two days passed and King Alfred was getting very antsy.

He would walk paces up and down the halls, the clacking of his boots keeping England and America up with anxiety.

It got so bad that Yao stormed out of his own room to yell at the worried king.

"Aiyah!! We'll find the queen so please go to sleep!!" Yao screeched, shoving the king into his room before slamming his door.

England sighed in relief, rolling onto his stomach. He was in a mix of emotions. America was getting to him. He always knew he had feelings for America, but the queen... was supposed to be someone beautiful.

There were paintings around the halls of the royals, but the body of the queen was blurred out by some powerful magic.

Even HE couldn't break the spell. He tried.

England sighed and pulled his blankets up to his chin, it's so quiet... and eerie... he closed his eyes, trying to let sleep take him.

It wasn't working.

He groaned and swung his feet onto the floor, wincing as the floorboards creaked.

The castle had an excellent plan for testing guests. The floors in only their rooms were wooden and made the creaks so they couldn't sneak around the castle.

The country cast a spell on his feet, giving him light step, as he traveled out of the room.

Carefully he made his way to America's and knocked on the door, biting the inside of his cheek.

A few agonizing moments later: America finally opened the door. His blue eyes were glazed with sleepiness, but once seeing England they blazed with excitement.

"Fancy sewing you here, ya come here often~?" His southern accent was always stronger when tired.

England blushed at that and rolled his eyes, "I can't sleep. It's creepy alone in my room." He mumbled.

"You always sleep alone back in our world though?" America pointed out with a raised brow.

The green eyed male puffed out his cheeks, "I always had Elizabeth! She slept soundly with me. Can I sleep in here?" He asked, crossing his arms.

America looked the other blonde up and down. He had on cute blue pajamas that were apparently the other England's.

He chuckled, "Sure." And moved out of the way for England to shuffle inside.

Said male flopped onto the bed and got under the covers, snuggling into one of the pillows. Smells like America... he smiled and closed his eyes, falling asleep as he felt America climb in the bed beside him.

The next morning England and America woke up in each other's arms. It was kinda embarrassing so they spent a bit of a distance away from each other.

Today was the day they were going to plan an attack on the Diamond Kingdom.

"Okay! So, here's the deal, Yao: you go and stay on the far side of the battlefield to keep an eye out for anything... strange," King Alfred pointed to Yao,

"Yes!"

"America and England, you'll be with me, sneaking into the castle through the back door. There's an old door that was used for servants to have easy access to the back farms. We'll use that to get in."

"How do you know so much about that kingdom?" England asked, biting down onto a raspberry smothered scone.

"My Queen was from the Diamond Kingdom. King Francis blames me for 'stealing' his precious member of society. Not that it could be helped. The royal males are born into the throne, but the queens are always magically selected."

America snapped, "Oh bro! Like soul mates or whatever?" He inferred.

England looked shocked, "How did you know things like that?" He had an incredulous smile on his face.

The bigger male laughed, "I lived with you for years. You would read me bedtime stories with them in it." He mused.

The green eyed beauty blushed and looked at the table, "So I did."

King Alfred smiled, "Yes, like soul mates." He pulled his collar down and revealed a blue spade with a golden K in the center. "Kings have a golden K and whatever kingdom they're part of's symbol behind it."

Yao grinned and pulled his down, a blue spade with a J. "Jack for me!"

England nodded in understanding, "So a Q for a queen." He hummed, "That'll make finding her easier."

"Right." King Alfred stood up suddenly and had his signature smile, "Who's ready for battle?"

America looked to England and they nodded, "We'll follow your lead."
