The next morning we came back to the resort only to find Jungkook leaving it.

"I'll go after breakfast" he said "Are the two of you okay?"

"Yes... Actually Jungkook, can I head back with you please" I said and Taehyung looked at me. He wasn't surprised nor anything. He just nodded and sat at the table across me.

Jungkook looked at both of us before speaking:

"Yeah, I could use a company" he said.

"Great, I'll go and pack. I'm not hungry anyways" I said.

I couldn't deal with Alie and explaining anything to her so I just told her that Jin got really sick and that I can't handle having fun while he's bed ridden.

Jungkook put our luggage into his car and we headed back. I didn't even said goodbye to Taehyung. I decided it was easier that way.

"So..." Jungkook started, trying to break down the awkward atmosphere.

"You're not together anymore?"

"We never were" I bit my cheek trying to stay composed but I just ended up breaking into tears.

Eventually I told him everything and he was just listening and nodding. I don't even know this guy, yet I've told him my biggest worries. From Taehyung to how my parents are bitches who don't let me do what I want and practically force me into studying stuff I don't like and how I'd die if there weren't for my brother to help me.

After an hour of rambling and crying I figured to ask him if he's okay and why's he going back.

"Oh, well you know Jimin?"

"Yes, I do."

"He kinda broke up with his boyfriend too last night. I don't want him to be alone on New Year's, he's my best friend after all."

"Oh, I see. I'm sorry to hear that, hope they get back together."

"I don't, he doesn't deserve Jimin."

"Oh" was all I said. I don't know anything about them anyway. I've just seen Jimin's boyfriend once in my life.

"But don't worry Aeri, I know for the fact that you're different than the others in his eyes" Jungkook glanced at me "If two people were meant to be together they'll find their way back to each other eventually."

"Hahah thanks, you're actually smart."

"Haha no, I've got that line from 'Gossip Girl', but it's true" he laughed.

The rest of the trip we spent talking about whatever, he helped me forget about my worries for some time.

It was already getting dark out when we arrived at the city and Jungkook dropped me by my house. He helped me with my suitcase and left.

I entered the empty house. I lit the lights and didn't bother to move the suitcase upstairs.

The only picture that appeared in my mind when I entered the kitchen to get some water, was from that night when Taehyung helped me get the cups. I suppressed the memories and went to the living room but it was no better since it reminded me of him again. My room was even worse. I just wanted to escape my own skin. It was eating me from the inside and I just wanted to turn back time.

I rushed down the stairs and put all the clothes on washing even tho it was still clean.

After taking the shower drying my hair and applying makeup I decided to fastly go into my room just to snatch some dress and disappear from home. The plan for the night was to go out somewhere, anywhere, far away from anything reminding me of him.

I opened the wardrobe and while pulling out a couple of dresses, man's sweatsuits fell out.

Thanks god I've already cried enough on the way here and in the bathroom so my eyes were dry, otherwise all the makeup would be ruined.

I picked up his clothes, which I constantly forgot to give him back, and he never reminded me. Now thinking about it he never gave me mine back either. I brought the clothes close to my face and smelled it.

Yes, it still smelled of him, since I never washed it. I just shoved it between dresses which I rarely wear because I wanted to hide it from Jin at that time.

I put on the hoodie and leggings and went downstairs to eat something before going out. It's not smart to drink on empty stomach.

As I was sitting and eating remains of lunch from that day I heard the door unlocking. I didn't think of what to tell my brother as an excuse to why I'm home five days earlier so I just switched the lights off, hoping he won't realize someone's home.

"You have no idea for how long I've been waiting for this" I heard Jin's voice and sounds of kissing.

I stayed silent until I heard girl's voice.

"Ah Jin, how will I look at Ri after this."

"Don't worry about her now."

Byoul!?

I was contemplating whether I should turn on the lights or stay hidden until they proceed to Jin's room and then sneak out of the house.

I decided for the second option.

I was so shocked that my best friend and brother were 'together'? I wasn't mad I just never expected this to happen even tho I knew she liked Jin a lot.

The moment the door of his room closed I tiptoed to my room switched to the dress, pulled out the first pair of shoes and left the house. I knew Jin will realize I was here the moment he enters bathroom but I didn't care. I'll deal with him later.

I arrived at the bar, one where I used to go with friends during the past years of high school.

I sat at the bar and ordered the same thing I always used to. Red vodka.

I was about to get my second drink when someone put a hand on my naked shoulder. I turned around to see a familiar face.

"H-Hobi?"

"Hi babe, long time no see."
