jungkook wasn't jungkook anymore. he didn't laugh, sing, dance, cool,or try to rap, disrespect jin. he was just there.

he didn't actually think tae would actually break up with him. but he figured it was coming when he posted that photo with Jackson. it hurt him a lot. that was his sugar plum. his rock. now he's just jungkook with tight pants

he got a text 3 days ago from tae, it said he wanted to tell everybody why he was doing what he was doing. jungkook thought the worst.

did he actually ever  like jungkook? was he just using everybody for his own greedy needs?    

he wasn't sure, but what he was sure about is that he was a wreck. he took showers too often, he's letting his hair grow out, he's gotten piercings, and even a couple of tattoos. He thought doing all that could take Taehyung off of his mind, nope. He honestly didn't even look like Jungkook anymore, it was like a darker, more evil him. However he's gotten hit on more than when he still had his coconut hair cut.

He laughs to himself remember that Taehyung would 'fight a crusty whore' or they're looking at his man.

The 'beep' of his phone distracted him from his thoughts. It was him telling them they, as in the 5 of them, were downstairs waiting for him.

He quickly threw on one of his sweaters and some grey sweatpants then ran out of the house.

15 'minutes later

They all got out of the car and went to Taehyungs apartment buildings. Jin already had both keys to the downstairs door and Taehyungs APT door. He did live there after all.

When they got to taes door, they didn't want to be rude so they just knocked on the door. However there was no answer. They knocked a second time, still no answer.

Jin already mad and not wanting to see Taehyung at all, pulled out his spare key and let everyone in, Jin texted Taehyung to him they were in his living room.

"Do you guys this HES actually gonna tell us?" Jimin asked, sitting down in the top familiar couch .
"He better, I didn't come over here for nothing. He's always being extra" yoongi grumbled taking a seat on jimins lap, that's another story.

"He's not extra" Jungkook mumbles protecting his boyfriend- well, ex-boyfriend.

Even if they were broken up, that was still his angel that he needs to protect at all cost. In the words of jimin "periodt"

Jungkook excusing himself from the conversation they picked up on, he went down the hallway.

All the memories quickly flooded his head, the first time Taehyung asked for jungkooks sweater, the first time yeontan went to the bathroom in his pad, then making cringe couple TikToks.

He was smiling until he heard hitting, it more so sounded like someone was moving in the bed rapidly  because the springs were very loud. The sound was coming from Taehyungs room, but Jungkook didn't know what was going on. For all he knew he could've walked in on Taehyung having sex, ouch.

That's until he heard what Taehyung was saying. Boy did he want to slap Taehyung right now, how dare he say those things about himself?? Even though these past few weeks he's been acting....different. Taehyung was still his baby, that no one talked bad about. Not even Tae himself.

He quickly barged in the room to see Taehyung hitting the bed whole crying, saying the malicious things about himself on repeat.

"you let everyone down. how c-could you do that to them? your friends"

He heard Taehyung say. So he was sorry about what he did? Jungkook didn't know at this point, nor did he care. He needed his love to feel safe. That's what he's gonna do.

"It's fine" Jungkook said, finally speaking out loud. Taehyung stopped sobbing while Jungkook moved closer to the bed.

"K-kookie" Taehyung said raising himself from the pillow. Tears still talking down, him breathing heavily,, eyes bloodshot red.
"Shh, just cry" kook said, taking him into his arms.

His love was still his love.

Where have I been? 😬, I love all of you that appreciate this book, so sorry I had y'all waiting FOR EVER on this chapter. Which ain't the best.
