I turn around just to see Mama at my door, looking at me with a hesitant look on her face, unsure if she's going in or not.

''May I go in?"

I nodded in response.

"Uhm... Dear, can you come with us this Saturday. Your father's acquaintance invites our family to the simple party they hold. I'm hoping all of us can come, as a family. "

How I long for them to tell me that I'm part of their family!

How do I wish for them to take me on their family bonding!
