Kai then immediately rebuilt Tamaki like he was before, who looked shocked and scared. I mean who wouldn't? He just...DIED, only to come back in mere seconds. Tamaki's body was frozen in fear, scared to move, scared to even breathe. He shakily looked up at Overhaul, fear in his eyes while gold, blank eyes stared back, as if nothing had happened, "you shouldn't have said that...you're lucky I didn't keep you dead..."
Kai then left, leaving a broken Tamaki on the floor. The elf just sat against the wall, trying to ignore the pain in his knees, legs, arms, and face. He could still feel his wounds bleed, crimson red flowing from the open scabs. He didn't wanna be there anymore. He knew it wouldn't happen, but he just wished Mirio would bust in, kick overhauls ass, and save him and Eri. But, Tamaki knew that he had been forgotten, and he knew Mirio would move on and maybe date Hado.
He sat there, letting himself bleed out while slowly falling asleep, deeply wishing the pain would just go away. When he woke, he was bandaged and laying on the crappy bed in his new cell. There was some sort of cast around his knees, restricting them from bending or moving in anyway, shape, or form. He saw the dry, bloody bandages on his arms and legs, and on a small desk beside him, he could see the crimson covered nails that were once inside his scarred arms. Tamaki was utterly confused...who bandaged him, and why? He went to feel his scarred face, feeling it covered with bandages as well. He groaned and laid his hand back down, looking at the door in hopes that a pro would come in and take him away. However, instead of a pro, it was one of the Eight Bullet members that came in. He saw the elf awake and ran to get Overhaul.
Tamaki, out of instinct, attempted to fall asleep out of fear of being caught awake. From the medication he knew was making him feel numb, it also made him drowsy, so falling back asleep was no issue. When Kai came in, instead of seeing Tamaki awake like the member told, he found the elf still asleep. He would've thought that the bullet was lying, if he didn't notice Tamaki shaking in his sleep. Last he checked, Tamaki was out cold and not moving in anyway, so seeing him shake in his sleep, Kai knew that the drugs must've made him sleepy, hence making the elf fall asleep instead of fainting again. He dismissed his subject before he walking over to Tamaki's body. Now in all honesty, Kai was hoping the elf wouldn't make him hurt him, and he hated seeing Tamaki in pain, but he had to learn his lesson: always obey your master.
Kai sat down and waited for the elf to awake, taking him back to the first day he kidnapped him, and how peaceful he looked asleep. It was a few hours of hearing the elf quietly shake and cry in his sleep before Tamaki woke up suddenly. He jumped up and yelped, quickly feeling something push him back down. The elf looked over and went pale.
"K...Kai..." he barely whispered, trembling as the villain pets his head gently. He smiled under his mask. "How'd you sleep...?"
"...b...bad..." he didn't bother lying, since it seemed to him that the other had watched him sleeping, having a nightmare. Kai caressed his cheek before harshly being cut off by the door opening, "Overhaul!"
"What, Nemoto?"
"They're here!"
Overhauls eyes widened in anger and stood up, looking at the black masked man, "Then quit standing around and stop them!"
Tamaki was confused. Was someone breaking in? Did the heroes come to save him..? No, probably for Eri. He'd been forgotten. The elf then watched as Kai pulled his mask off for a minute to kiss him, "I'll be right back, little elf...I gotta go spill some blood..."
Kai then placed his mask back on and left, locking the door behind him before going to help his worthless subordinates fight. This was Kai's fatal mistake, leaving Tamaki alone. He didn't notice that one of the heroes had snuck off to find Eri and Tamaki. This hero...was Mirio.
Mirio could hear the battle go on as he ran, looking for the girl and his boyfriend. He had been training the whole time he was waiting, glad to be able to help rescue these two. He first found Eri, opening the door and grabbing her gently. She gasped and looked ready to cry,
"n-no...h-he'll kill you if he finds me gone..." she muttered, though gently clinged to him. Mirio had a feeling he might not be able to carry Eri and a possible injured Tamaki. He knew he shouldn't, but he started looking for an alternative exit, leaving the building and going around to the rendezvous, handing Eri to the authorities.
"Get her somewhere safe and away from here! I have to go back for Tamaki-"
"Fall back! Fall back!" The cops inside started running out, some being killed quickly. Mirio growled and went to help the pro heroes fight. Soon, he came face to face with his enemy, Overhaul. Mirio hated Chisaki, since this is the man that took everything he cared about away from him. His quirk, his mentor, his first year, and his elf, all taken by the Yakuza leader.
"Surrender and let Tamaki go." He stated bluntly while Kai suddenly laughed.
"Even if I were, he can't get anywhere. I made him incapable of moving. It was a bit fun hearing him scream..."
Mirio's eyes widened in fear, then flashed to anger. He made Tamaki immobile and brought the elf suffering, and it made the hero mad, especially hearing that the villain enjoyed it. Overhaul could see the fear and anger in his eyes, returning with an indifferent glance.
"Oh don't give me that..how can you still play hero without a quirk...?"
"Because I have the heart of one. That's all I need to beat you!" Mirio then launched himself at Kai for a punch, grabbing his wrists so he wouldn't be touched and broke the villains arms, followed by a punch to knock Kai out.
After making him unconscious, Mirio went looking for Tamaki, soon finding him when he hears a familiar cry.
"N-no...I-I'm not worth being saved...I-I can't even t-take care of mys-self..." Tamaki sobbed softly, knowing he'd be left here to die. Mirio's heart broke at the sound before busting the door down. Tamaki yelped and looked at the door, quickly looking away in fear.
"Tamaki..." Mirio said softly, walking over to the bandaged elf, gently petting him, "it's okay. I'm here."
Tamaki slowly looked over and saw an angel by his bed. His life long friend, boyfriend, and hero was here beside him. "M-Mirio...."
The blonde smiled before gently picking the elf up, "let's get you outta here, kitten..."
"W-wait, n-no, h-he'll kill me! P-please!" He cried, making Mirio's heart ache in pain.
"It's okay...Overhaul is unconscious...he won't be hurting you or Eri anymore..."
Tamaki glanced at Mirio in fear, but believed him, weakly holding onto him while his hero carried him to safety.
