Exhausted, San let his body crumble onto the hard mattress of his bed as soon as he reached his small apartment. It wasn't the first time San had had to work extra just because Jihun was pissed or wanted to be an asshole. Wouldn't be the last time too.

But it didn't stop the burn that spread throughout his body, fatigue and tension taking a toll on his weary figure. He draped an arm over his eyes exhaling a tired groan.

While lying down, San took out his phone from the small duffel bag he took with him to the club, frowning when he saw the battery had run out.

Deciding on a warm shower to make some of the aches go away, San got up from his bed, connecting his phone to the charger before heading to the bathroom.

Placing a towel on the hook in the bathroom, San walked over to the small mirror on top of the sink looking at himself. He was disappointed at the person that stared back.

He raised his hands to lightly skim over the scar on his left cheek, a little below the corner of his eye, the feel of it causing unnecessary memories to flood back into his mind, making San feel nauseous. He looked away quickly feeling ashamed at himself and who he was.

Stepping under the shower, San let the warm water wash over him, letting his mind go blank, to forget everything, even if it was just for a few minutes.

After the quick, but refreshing shower, San walked back out into his room in a loosely wrapped towel around his torso, his wet hair dripping and smooth stomach on full display. So was the jagged scar.

San traced a finger over the side of his abdomen where his scar stood out prominently on his skin, the feather light touch making his breath hitch. Fear suddenly coursed through him as Jinhun's smirking face flashed in front of his eyes, helpless screams and pleads resonating in his mind involuntarily.

San felt like he couldn't breathe, a wave of panic overtaking him, tears welling up in his eyes as he struggled to get breathes into his aching lungs.

He stumbled over to his phone, opening it to see a message from an unknown number but he payed little mind to it, mind trying to quickly find a contact.

Clicking on the contact, San closed his eyes as he listened to the ringing of the phone.

"Sannie?" A voice answered after 2 long rings.

"Hyung help." San managed to croak out from his hunched position on the cold floor.

"Is it an attack?" The voice asked hurriedly, concern laced into it.

San nodded but forgot the other couldn't see it.

"Yea." He managed to wheeze out. "Seonghwa my chest hurts." Tears now spilled freely out of San's tightly shut eyes.

"San listen to my voice. My voice is all you can hear ok? There's no one with you, the noises are all in your head. No one can hurt you ok. What happened is over. You're ok now. We're all here to protect you." Seonghwa spoke gently and soothingly in an attempt to calm the other hysterical male.

San listened to Seonghwa talk, trying to will away all other noises, concentrating on the others voice as it spoke, words undecipherable for San but eventually, after a few long minutes, all he could here were the older's reassuring words.

"You still with me San?" Seonghwa asked.

"Yea. I'm better now. Thank you hyung." San replied gratefully. He could always count on Seonghwa or Yunho to help him whenever he went through an episode like this. He trusted the two with his life. He had talked about his past with Hongjong and the other two before and since then, the four would always confide in eachother about anything and everything.

"Want me to come over?" Seonghwa asked.

"No i'm fine now. I'm gonna get some sleep. I don't want to disturb you in the middle of the night." San said, smiling at the concern directed at him. Seonghwa had always been the mom of their little group.

"I'm trusting you on getting some sleep then. Or i'll send over Yunho." Seonghwa warned, drawing a chuckle from the younger.

"Got it mom. Go rest. I'll see you tomorrow before your show." San said, smiling.

"Bye Sannie. Call me anytime you need me." Seonghwa said.

"Bye hyung." San hung up, letting out a deep breathe, feeling much more grounded and in control of himself.

He scrolled through his phone for a bit before deciding to check his messages. The first message made his breathe hitch.

San exhaled as he closed his phone after setting his alarm for the next morning, putting it back on the bedside table. He didn't know why he was talking to the other male so much but something about him drew San in. He didn't hate the other's company. In fact, dare he say, he looked forward to it.

San shook his head, feeling an oncoming headache since he was thinking way too much about the issue.

Turning off the lights, San got under the covers of the bed, already feeling himself drift off. San smiled to himself as he thought of the other, sleep quickly taking over his tired body quickly.
