CHAPTER NINE: IT'S THEM

"Well, this is not good" you said as the three of you walked out of the building "I was pretty good, thought, right? 'Yeah. What about my consent, bitch?'" Klaus said "Klaus, it doesn't matter" you and Five sneered and Klaus turned around to look at you.

"What? What? What's the big deal with this eye, anyway?" he asked "There is someone out there who's going to lose an eye in the next seven days" you said "They're gonna bring about the end of life on this Earth as we know it" Five said before you and him walked past Klaus.

"Yeah, can I get that 20 bucks, like now, or what?" Klaus asked as he turned to you and you both stopped "Your 20 bucks?" you asked while turning to look at him "Yeah, my 20 bucks" Klaus said "The apocalypse is coming, and all you can think about is getting high?" Five asked, raising his voice as he was getting annoyed.

"Well, I'm also quite hungry" Klaus said before putting his hands on his stomach "Tummy's a-rumblin'" he said and did a imitates groaning as he started moving his fingers but the couple just stared at him, like he was a idiot.

"You're useless. You're all useless!" Five said before you and him walked around Klaus.

"I almost forgot" Five turned to face Klaus before slapping him in the face.

"What the---"

"You know what that was for. And if you even hurt my wife again, like you did today, I'll kill you" Five pointed his finger at him and he nodded.

"Oh, come on! You need to lighten up, old man" Klaus said to Five as you both walked over and sat down by the small stairs in front of the building before you let out a sigh.

"Hey, you know, I've just now realized why you're so uptight. You two must be horny as hell" Klaus said and let out a laugh as he sat down next to Five "All those years by yourself. It's gotta screw with your heads. You two being alone, only having each other" he said and Five looked at you who was sitting next to him, looking straight ahead which allow him the chance to take you in without you knowing. From your soft beautiful skin, to your beautiful Y/e/c eyes and Y/h/c hair, you were beautiful. No matter how selfish it made he sound, he was grateful that you had decided to stay with him and tagged all those years ago.

"It was, but we had each other" Five said as he looked at you who smiled.

"How long have you two being married?" Klaus asked "38 years" you both replied "But we have being together for over 45 years and a couple for 40" you said.

"How do you put up with him for all those years?" Klaus asked you "Trust me it was hard" you said "Then how did you two managed to tolerate each other?" Klaus asked "We have always being able to tolerate each other" Five said "Beside he was the only other person left alive, so it was either him or being alone with a mannequin. Which I sometimes think would be a better choice" you said "Trust me Love, you were no better yourself. I also considered it many times" Five said "You just be lucky I haven't punch you in the face" you said "I hate you" he said "I hate you too" you said.

Every time you and Five said 'I hate you' to each other, it was actually 'I love you'

"Strange kind of love you two have" Klaus said "Strange, but real and true" Five said before you both sent each other a loving smile.

You drew stars around my scars

"I actually knew that you two would get together" Klaus said causing you to look at him "You did?" you asked and he nodded "We all knew, I mean you two is the heart and the head, without each other the other won't survive" Klaus said "Well, you were actually right" Five said "Yeah, we finally were able to admit our feelings to each other" you said "And to think it took an apocalypse to do it" Five chuckled. 

"I don't regret going with him" you said and Five smiled before he kissed your cheek which cause you to smile.

"You two are actually cute together and you are a perfect match, your personality match" Klaus said as he looked at the two of you.

"And now when you are back in your younger bodies, you are both horny, so why not do it, have sex, it will make you both feel better" Klaus said "We are not gonna have sex" you said "Why not? You can make a tiny version of the two of you now" Klaus said and the two rolled your eyes.

"Come on, when was the last time you two?" Klaus asked "Well---" "Five" you snapped your head at him "What?" he asked "I don't want to talk about stuff like that with our family" you said. 

"Well, anyway. 40 years? Oh, wow!" Klaus said and chuckled.

It was hard for him to believe that. You and Five didn't look like a day older than sixteen and it was difficult for Klaus to realise that you both will grow up...again.

"God, the longest I've been with someone was...I don't know, three weeks. And that's only because I was so tired of looking for a place to sleep" Klaus said.

You let out a sigh before you pulled out 20 bucks that you had taken and put them by Klaus' feet.

Then you looked at Five and send him a look, telling him it was time to get out of here since you were both getting tired of Klaus and you didn't had time for this.

Five nodded before he grabbed her hand and blinked them both them both away.

"He did make the most fantastic osso buco, though. It was..." Klaus said but stopped when he saw you and Five was gone "Five? Y/n?" he asked confused.

You and Five appeared in a cab nearby causing the driver to gasp as he turned around, freaking out that two kids was suddenly sitting in the back seat "Don't stop. Just keep going" Five said and the driver did that.

You and Five looked at Klaus and waved at him as the car drove past him "Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, what about my money?" Klaus shouted after you two and you pointed on the ground which cause Klaus to look down and he picked up the 20 bucks.

"THANKS SIS. I LOVE YOU!" Klaus called after you.

"Time to visit Delores" Five said "Yeah" you said with a nod.

It was night and it was raining and thunder was rumbling when you and Five arrived at the mall named 'Gimble Brothers'.

Five grabbed your hand again before he blinked you both into the mall.

The two of you grabbed a flashlight and turned it on before walking farther into the mall, shining your way through the mall.

You started walking around before stopping in front of different displays, all of them had mannequins on them. You both shined the light on each other them before moving to the next display to do the same "Not there" you said before you turned around, shining the light around the mall.

Then suddenly you both stopped and you both let out a smile before you stepped closer to a display with three mannequins on it. You held the light on the one in the middle, keeping your focus on that one as you walked closer with a smile.

When you were closed enough you let out a sigh before letting out a smile "Delores" you said quietly, while looking at the mannequin in front of you.

"It's good to see you" you said with a smile "We've missed you...obviously" Five said with a small smile.

"Sorry, we first came now" you said "Well, I...It's been a rough couple of days" he said and you nodded.

While the two of you looked at Delores, a man and a woman who was wearing cartoon marks came into the mall. The woman had a pink huge puppy mask over her head and the man had a huge blue and yellow bear mask over his head.

The two lifted their gun before they pointed on you and Five "NO!" you both shouted before Five grabbed you and he just reached to pull you down with him, taking cover behind a display, dodging the bullets that was being fired.

The bullets hit Delores and her upper body felled down on the floor.

"You okay?" Five asked as he looked at you, scanning your body for any bullets wounds "I'm fine, Five" you said but he lifted up her shirt a bit, to make sure that nothing have hit you "Five, I'm fine" you said as you pulled down the shirt again.

The two of you clicked your flashlight off so you wouldn't be spotted by the man and the woman.

Then you peeked your heads around the corner to see who it was that was shooting at them "Oh, shit. It's them" Five said "It's Hazel and Cha-Cha" you said as both you and Five could recognize who it was, that was shooting at you.

Hazel and Cha-Cha was the second best at The Commission, you and Five was still the best even so you both have left.

"We have to get Delores, we can't leave her" you said "I will get her you stay here" he said before he got up and ran over to the mannequin that was now laying on the floor. He grabbed Delores by the neck and shoulder before running backwards and stopped next to you before crouching down as he put the back of the mannequin's neck in his hand and looked down at it.

He then looked at you "Stay here with her" he said "What? No. I wanna help you" she said "No, please listen to me. I will distract them" he said "No, we are in this together" she said  "Just please stay here, I can't risk you getting hurt" Five said "No, Five...." but you didn't reach to finish that sentence as Five got up before he ran away to distract Hazel and Cha-Cha.

"I HATE YOU!" you shouted aggressive after him.

Hazel and Cha-Cha kept shooting at Five but he reach to blink away.

You looked at Delores "Don't look at me like that, I'm gonna help him. You stay here, we will be right back" you said before sneaking forwards while crouching down.

Hazel was walking around the mall with his gun lifted when he heard someone behind him causing him to quickly turned around, ready to pull the trigger but when he turned around, he was face to face with you who swung a circle kick at him, kicking the gun out of his hand.

"Hello" you said with a smile and a raised eyebrow before you punched him in the face and kicked him in the stomach causing him to stumble back.

You were about to threw another punch but then you noticed out of the corner of her eye Cha-Cha pointing her gun at you and you quickly crouched down, dodging the bullets before you took cover behind one of the many displays.

Some bullets came flying towards you but with your powers you control the bullet so they flew in different directions but by accident moving a bullet in Five's direction but he reach to quickly dodged a bullet.

"Sorry" you said "Hey! Focus where you are moving those bullets, you almost hit me!" Five shouted.

Cha-Cha spotted Five and she started shooting at him but he reach to blink away.

"You see that?" Cha-Cha said "You said they were special. So now what?" Hazel asked "You go after Y/n. I saw her move after he did. You go for her, I'll go for him. You start over there, I'll go to the other end. Meet in the middle. Shoot anything that moves" Cha-Cha said.

Five appeared behind a shelf where gardening tools was and he grabbed a small shovel, unpacked it before swinging with it to see if it was good and he then peek from behind the shelf to see if he could spot his wife, but you were nowhere to be seen which caused him to panic a bit.

Hazel walked over to a shelf before he took out something from the rack "'Elastic wrist splint'" he read "Yes" he said.

But then he heard a sound coming from his left and he quickly turned to the left, pointing his gun at you but you reach to dodged down before you slid towards him, kicking him in his left leg causing him to fall to his knees.

He was about to get up again, but you wrapped your legs around his, tackled him to the floor.

Cha-Cha pointed her gun at you but then Five appeared behind Cha-Cha "Nobody hurts my wife, you bitch" he said before slashing her in the back with the shovel causing her to groan in pain.

Hazel pointed his gun at Five but he reach to blink away just as Hazel started shooting.

"Nobody hurts my husband" you said as you quietly ran behind Hazel and kicked him as hard as you could in his back. He yelped as his body was thrown forward a bit.

You then with your powers lifted the Hazel up in the air before throwing him into a wall.

You then turned around before you started running the other way.

But as you kept running, you felt something scratch your left waist causing you to grunt in pain as you hold your left hand on your left waist while you took cover.

You looked down at your waist to see some blood but lucky the bullet only scratch your side, so it was not bleeding bad but it still hurt like hell and you could feel your ears ringing a bit.

You quickly hide behind a display and you could feel how your eyes started getting heavier and how exhausted you were.

Your powers are like a battery, if you used them too much or for too long, you get weaker and you can end up passing out from exhausting and you need to rest and eat or take someone else's stamina for your powers to be charge again.

Five then blinked over to you "Shit" he said before he lifted you up in his arms and ran through the display as bullets were flying around him. He did his best making sure that nothing hit you or him.

He ran over to Delores before he put you down "You okay?" he asked and you nodded "Just exhausted" you said "We are getting out of here" he said as he put Delores in a big green bag.

"Come on" he said before he grabbed your hand and the two of you started running.

The two of you ran passed the displays as Hazel and Cha-Cha kept shooting at you and a bullet hit your arm causing you to grunt a little bit in pain.

Five got ready to blink away but it didn't work, meaning that he have used up his powers.

"Five, come on, they are getting close" you said as you peek up from one of the display. 

"I'm trying" Five said as he looked down at his clenched fist "Shit. Come on!" he said as he tried again but it didn't work and more gunfire was heard.

"I'm not of fuel" he said and you looked at him "Come on" he said before he grabbed your hand "Run" he said as the two of you ran forwards.

"This way" Five said and the two of you jumped over a counter before jumping over it just as Hazel and Cha-Cha started shooting at you, making the bullets hit the counter.

But because you were exhausted and you had being shot you fell to the floor.

"Love" Five stopped and ran over to you "Come on" he said and you let out a grunt "What's wrong?" he asked but you didn't answer as you try to get up "Leave me" you said "Yeah, no. Not gonna happen. I'm not leaving you, never " he said before he put your right arm around his shoulder and help you stand up.

"Got them" Cha-Cha said as you and Five stopped before you turned around to see Cha-Cha and Hazel looking over the shelf with their guns pointed at the both of you.

You both started breathing heavily as the light on the guns blinded you and the two stepped closer to the you and Five as they pointed their guns at you two.

Five then went in front of you to protect you. He was standing right in front of you, working as a shield with his own body.

Then sirens wailing was heard causing Cha-Cha and Hazel to turned their heads to the main glass door to see cop cars pulling up to the mall.

While Hazel and Cha-Cha looked towards the glass door, Five grabbed your hand before the two of you hide behind the counter at the register.

Hazel and Cha-Cha looked back to see that you and Five were gone "The bastard jumped again" Hazel said "Come on, let's go" Cha-Cha said before the two left.

Both you and Five had your back leaned against the counter. Five was sitting holding Delores close to him while he with his free hand was holding your hand.

"We made it" Five said out of breath "We....Did" you said.

"You okay?" Five asked "No" you said as you grunt in pain and he quickly dropped the bag where Delores was in before he moved in front of you "My arm. The bullet is still in" you said as you grunt in pain.

He then moved your hand from your arm to look at it. "Okay, this is gonna hurt, hold my shoulder and squeeze" he said and you nodded as you put your right hand on his right shoulder.

Lucky the bullet was not that deep in, so he could easy get the bullet out by himself.

He started taking the bullet out causing you to groan in pain as you took a tighter grip on his shoulder causing him to grunt in pain, 'cause it was like he could feel your nails digging into his skin. 

"Okay, it's out" he said before he looked at you "You okay?" he asked "I'm better now" you said but Five still started checking for any cuts or wounds.

His eyes widened when he saw a small cut from a bullet by your waist "You're hurt" he said worried and you looked down at the cut "It's just a scratch" she said "No, we need to take care of it immediately or you will die of blood loss, so we---" but you cut him off when you put his face in your hands "Can you stop talking and calm down for just one minute" you said as you looked at each other "Calm down Hon. It's just a scratch. Let's get out of here and then we can stitch it, okay" you said and he nodded.

Sometimes when Five is scared or nervous, he just kept wouldn't stop talking. It was funny and annoying at the same time, so to make him stop, you put a finger under his chin before turning his head to he was looking at you.

"We need to get back to the Academy" you said and he nodded as he help you up.

Five then grabbed his bag with his free hand while he with his other hand was helping you walk.

"Why didn't you tell me?" he asked "I was too focused in not getting killed" you said.

You and Five entered the Academy before you walked up the stairs to his bedroom.

"Five?" Allison said as her and Luther came walked passed them as you and Five reach the finale step "Y/n" Luther said as he looked at you.

"What the hell happened to you two?" Luther asked but the couple didn't answer "No big deal" you said "What happen to you?" Allison asked her as she noticed that a small part of your shirt was red.

"Nothing huge" you said "It is huge, and I will take care of it" Five said "It's nothing that wouldn't get better after it have gotten stitches" you said as you removed Five's hand from your waist.

From anything you have being through, you have being through way worse than a bullet to the arm and waist. But it didn't matter how many times you endured it or how many things you endured. Blood loss was no joke. 

But lucky the cuts and the bullet wound was not that deep, but it still needed stitches.

"Are you two okay? Can we help?" Luther asked and reach out his arm towards you and Five but Five grabbed Luther's wrist harshly, moving his arm upwards "There's nothing you can do" Five said quietly.

"There's nothing any of you can do" you said as the two of you thought back to the time in the apocalypse where you found the fake eye in Luther's dead body's hand as you also found the rest of your siblings, all laying dead in the rubbles of the Academy that was in ruins as it was completely destroyed.

You both still had trauma from that day.

Your and Five's time in the apocalypse was something that you would never forget, it has cause you both trauma and PTSD and it have left you scar that would be there for life.

Five removed Luther's arm hand and walked towards his room with you behind him.

As soon as you enter the bedroom, Five closed the door "Let's stitch that wound" he said as he immediately grabbed the things he need "Five, it's not that bad" you said but he didn't listen "Sit" he ordered "Fivey, it's fine, okay" you said "Sit" he repeated and you rolled your eyes before you sat down on the bed.

He sat down next to you before he started cleaning the cut on your shoulder.

After cleaning it, he grabbed a child band-aid from a box labeled Billy and The Choo-Choo before placing it over your cut carefully.

He then lifted a small part of your shirt up before he started stitching up the cut on your waist.

"Of course they would sent Hazel and Cha-Cha" you said "This is making it a whole lot harder" he said "Nothing we can't handle" you said while he kept cleaning your cut on your waist.

Then you let out a grunt "Sorry" he said "It's okay" you said and he grabbed a child band-aid from a box labeled Billy and The Choo-Choo before placing it over your cut carefully.

"Not the worst cut or scare I have gotten" you said as you looked down at your cut and he let out a sigh as he sat down next to you.

With you standing next to me
I've got nothing to fear

"Hey" you put his face in your hands "I'm okay. It could have being worst" you said "I don't know what I would do if I ever lost you" he said "You are not gonna lose me, okay. I'm here here and I'm not going anyway, okay" you said before you pressed his forehead against yours, closing your eyes.

Everytime you did that, you both calmed down and you could find peace in your bodies and souls.

"You and me, always and forever, us against time" he said "You and me, always and forever, us against time" you repeated before you both let out a smile.

"Come, let's get some sleep" Five said and you nodded before you both lay down on the bed.

You both moved closer to each other and you lay on top of Five, placing your head on his chest and the crock of his neck as he wrapped his arms around you.

"Goodnight Pretty boy" you said which cause Five to smile, he love it when you call him that "Goodnight Love" he said before you both closed your eyes.
