CHAPTER SEVENTY-SIX: SIX YEARS LATER

It has now being six years, you and Five are living a normal life together.

Your and Five are enjoying this retire normal life. It has being that life you have always wanted. And now you finally have it.

You and Five don't see your family that often and the whole family hasn't really being together all at once for a long time.

You see Luther sometimes. He is working as stripper. You don't see Viktor so much, but he is living in Canada where he owns a bar.

Ben is in prison and Klaus is a germaphobe who has being sober for three years and live in Allison's basement so you don't see him that often, since he is scared of being outside. Allison you don't see her either.

Since you and Five can't really retire because that you look 22 years old and because it was boring for you to just be at home, you and Five are working as agents in the CIA.    

For the first two years, you and Five have tried to start a family of your own. You have tried everything from fertility treatments and even IVF but without luck and after start working you decided to put it on the shelf and focus on work but you both kept hoping that one day you would managed to made a child on your own, you know that you could get still pregnant because you have had your period so therefore you kept hoping that one day you would finally managed to get pregnant. You and Five was of course talking about adopting and that was the last option, but you really wanted to joy in carrying your own child. Having a child that is half of Five and half of you and Five would also rather have a kid that is your own blood and DNA.

Dress in your undercover outfit, you and Five was sitting with a bunch of people as they were all sitting in a circle in a room where on the door was there a sign that said.

THE KEEPERS

Close Meeting

12:00PM  

Five was wearing old pilot jacket, sunglass hanging on his white shirt, and he was wearing a fake mustache while you had a wig on.

"My name is Gus" a guy said "Hi, Gus" the group said "I've been searching for the truth my whole life. Then I found this group. And it was like a lightbulb went off. For the first time, I heard people talking about what I was going through" Gus said "Exactly" a group member said.

"It's screwed up!" Gus said and members murmurs of agreement "I know and I come here and say anything" Gus said "Yeah" another member said.

"I...I could say Sir Reginald Hargreeves is actually an alien who is secretly grooming a cabal of teenager super soldiers, and you guys actually know what I'm talking about" Gus said "Keep going" a group member said as some of the people nodded.

"And now" he grab a guy's that was sitting on his right hand "I have hope" he grab a woman's who was sitting on his left side hand.

"'Cause I know a cleanse is coming" Gus said "Yes" a member said "Amen" Gus said and the group clapped.

"Thank you, Gus. Thank you" the group leader which name was Larry  said before he looked at Five who was sitting next to him.

"How about you?" he asked and Five looked at him "Got anything you wanna share?" he asked.

"Yeah, sure" Five said as he glanced at the members around him.

"Hi, my name's Jerome" Five said "Hi, Jerome" they all said.

"I'm still new to all this, but I can tell you folks, what you're talking about is real" he sighed "You're not crazy, I know because I've been to other timelines. I don't look it, but I'm sixty-two. When I was 13, I spend 45 years lost in a future apocalypse. Spend years working as an assassin. And I was involved in the Kennedy assassination" he explain with a sad voice.

"Speak your truth" a group member said "All that's unraveling now. I don't know what's real and what's not anymore. I feel like I can't trust anybody" Five sighed "All I know is I'm glad to have found all of you" he finished and group members mutter supportively.

"That's it. That's all I got" Five looked at Larry "It's okay" he said and everyone clapped.

"Good share"

"How about you?" Larry looked at you "Well, my name is Lara. I'm also new to all of this and I'm saying the same. What you guys are talking about is real. You're not crazy, and I know that because I have also been in other timelines. I don't look like it either but I'm sixty-five. I also spend 45 years in the apocalypse. So therefore I'm glad that I have found all of you" you finished and group members mutter supportively.

"That's it. That's all I got" you looked at the Larry "It's okay" he said and everyone clapped.

Larry then looked at you and Five "You wanna hear some real shit kids?" he whispered and the two of you looked at him "I'll take you to a real meeting" he said.

You and Five hurriedly entered the CIA building after your underover mission to spy on the Keepers in their secret meeting. The Keepers are a support group know to experience some sort of thinking about their other lives in other timelines. You and Five had to investigate it, as you needed to know how people started remembering their different lives in another timeline.

Attending these meeting also gave you and Five some sort of twisted therapy. With the Keepers, you can vent out your feelings from your past adventure.

"Well, that went well" you walked next to Five as you took your wig off before putting your hair up in a pony tail "Like always" Five said.  

A young agent with shirt yellow hair and glasses approached you and Five "You two are late" he said as he handed Five his black suit.

"I know" Five grab the suit "Thanks Derek" he said.

"Mustache" Derek said "Right" Five took off the fake mustache before giving it to Derek who gave you a file as the three of you walked up some small stairs.

"He's waiting in his office" he said as you walked farther up the steps.

Five changed into his suit before you, him and Derek walked into a office where the boss was which was a black bald guy in a suit.

He was CIA Deputy Director Lance Ribbons.

You gave his boss the file before you, Five and Derek sat down.

"The Keepers function mainly as a support group, but with strong cul-like tendencies. Membership is rapidly growing across all metro areas in the US, as well as Europe. It's all there in Five's and mine report, sir" you explain.

"What's the organizing principle?" Lance asked "They believe we're all somehow stuck in the wrong timeline" Five explain "Well...just a bunch of loony tunes, if you ask me" Lance closed the file before folding his hand "Drop this Keeper nonsense. Move on" he said as he looked at you and Five "I think it's time you got back to your other cases. Ladybug, Panama, Chicken Wing" he said "Sir, we're making progress with this" Five said "Now, you listen to me" Lance got up.

"You two have makings of a fantastic spook. A suspicious mind. A love of complexity and detail. A certain maturity that most of my young agents lack. Play your cards right, you two might be running this place someday" he said "Thank you for saying that, sir" Five said "Thank you for believing in us sir" you said.

"Well, that went well" you said sarcastically as you and Five walked out of the office.

Five looked at you "You are not gonna let this go, right?" he asked "Hell no, are you?" you looked at him "Have you met me?" he chuckled.

"So you're going to that meeting?" you asked "Of course I am" he nodded before looking at you "Are you?" he asked "Just try and stop me, I think it is a good idea. Beside we are in this together. You and me, always and forever" you said "You and me, always and forever" he said and you smiled before sharing a kiss.

Even so you and Five have being married for over 38 years, you still feel so new in love. You were both so happy with that life you were living now. It of course took you both some time to get use to be in your younger bodies, and it took you both some time to get use to not having your powers, but you were both so happy having this normal life. You both of course missed your old life since you spend a lifetime living that life, but you would never trade it for the life you have now. You loved this life.

"Come, we better go to the birthday party" you said "Do we have to?" Five asked "Honey, it's Diego's and Lila's daugther Grace's six year old birthday. It's our brother and our niece, you are coming and don't make me force you" you pointed your finger at him "Fine" he sighed.

Both you and Five arrive at a place called 'Lil' Monkeys' where Diego's and Lila's daughter Grace's birthday party was being held.

"Y/n, Five" someone said and the two of you saw Luther walking towards you.

"I'm so glad that you guys could make it" he said "Of course, we wouldn't miss it for the world" you said "How it is going with you two?" he asked "Fine" you and Five both said.

While kids were running around, Diego was standing over by the cake as he was on the phone.

"Hey, sorry. Excuse me" Lila said as she was pushing her way past the kids as she was wearing a green birthday hat while holding a piñata that was form as a Lama.

"What are you doing?" she asked as she approached Diego who hang up the phone.

"Cake" Diego replied "We haven't even done the piñata. Piñata first, then cake. What the hell is wrong with you?" she gave him the piñata before leaving.

You, Five and Ben was standing over by the ball pit holding a bottle of beer each.

"What was it? A Ponzi scheme? White-collar fraud?" Five asked Ben "Crypto exchange" Ben answered as he pick up a white ball "Web 3.0, baby. Feds only went after me because I'm an outsider. A fucking maverick like Elon" Ben said "Well, that and you bankrupted 100,000 people" you said "The whole thing was a witch hunt" Ben said "Yeah, well, say what you will. It's still good to have you back" Five said.

"Cheers" you said and the two of you cheered with Ben.

Then Luther pump up from the ball pit with a big smile "Ha-ha" he laughed "Gotcha" he pointed at Five, you, Ethan and Ben but they just looked at him, Ben look kinda annoying while Five just took a sip of his beer.

You chuckled "See Y/n/n gets me. Maybe you two can learn something from her" Luther said with a smile.

"Come on. It's been years sine we've been together like this" he said "Every think maybe there's a good reason for that?" Ben asked.

"Where's Viktor?" you asked "Oh, uh, he said he was coming" Luther said "What about Allison?" Five asked "Oh, well, she's usually a no-show, right? Maybe it's better that way" Luther said.

"Yeah, just give me a second. Okay" Lila said to a woman as she was trying to control the party "Hey, let go of her!" she pointed on a kid.

"Sorry, excuse me. Hey" she pushed her way through the playing kids as she walked over to her husband who was standing by the piñata.

"What are you doing? Just string it up" she said "You said you were on the west side this morning?" Diego asked "Yeah. I dropped off the kids, and I picked up the piñata. So what?" she asked "So this is an east side piñata" he said "Excuse me?" she asked "This is clearly an east side piñata" he looked at the piñata "Check out the craftsmanship, check out the fringe" he said.

"Okay, listen, we needed a piñata, so I got a piñata. And right now, we need more soda, so please, can you hurry up?" she asked "Where were you this morning?" he asked "Fine, I'll get it myself" she said annoying before leaving.

"Lila are you okay?" you asked Lila "I'm fine, just men, always letting the women handle anything" she said "Do you need help?" you asked "No thank, I got it" she said before leaving.

You and Five was standing with the others when Klaus enter with Claire.

"Klaus?" Luther suddenly said when he spotted Klaus entered the party with Claire.

"Hey, buddy!" Luther waved and the three others turned to look at Klaus.

"Hey" he said as Luther approached him with a big smile "Good to see ya! Come here!" he said and was about to hug him but Klaus stop him as he sputtering "Sorry, don't touch. Spasibo" he said "Right, yeah, of course" Luther said.

"He is a germaphobe now and extremely sober" Five told Ben as the two approached Klaus "Hi, Klaus" Five smiled.

"Benjamin!" Klaus's eyes widened when he looked at Ben "Klaus" Ben said in a not to happy voice "Wha...When did you get out?" Klaus asked "About an hour ago, but I'm strongly considering robbing a bank to get back in" Ben said before he turned around and left.

Klaus then looked at you "Hey sis" Klaus smiled "Hey bro" you waved at him with a smile.

"The money's decent right, and I make my own hours, so there's that" Diego said as him and Five was carrying two small boxes each "But my team supervisor is a real dickhead man. He's always riding the stick" Diego said "Yeah, that seems tough" Five said as the two put the boxes on a table "Most importantly, it's just a waste of my God-given talents you know" Diego looked at him as Five pick up his bottle of beer.

"When do you think I'll be hearing back from the agency?" he asked "Sorry?" Five asked "The CIA, bro. You gave 'em my résumé, right?" Diego asked "Right. Yeah" Five nodded "That's heading up the ladder as we speak" he said "That's what I'm talking about huh!" Diego patted his shoulder.

"You told 'em I know multiple disciplines?" Diego asked "What?" Five asked "You told them that I know, Hand-to-hand. Karate. Aikido. Hapkido. Krav Maga. Jujitsu. Muay Thai. Kendo. Sambo--" "Diego, I let 'em know. I told 'em" Five put his hand on his shoulder before he walked away just as you came over to the table, putting a small box on it.

"You two did gave them my résumé, right?" Diego looked at you "Well, Five told me that he would take care of it" you said "Then why I have not heard from them?" he asked "Okay, listen if you don't hear from at the end of the week, I will talk to them okay" you said "Thank you sis" he said "Of course bro" you smiled.

Klaus was talking to Lila's family "Haven't seen Viktor today but Viktor ended the world twice" Klaus said "Tell us about Allison?" a woman asked "Oh, yeah, Allison she set up this whole timeline. She stole her daughter from another one, and..." Klaus said "Oh scary!" a woman said.

"And then there's Luther!" Klaus pointed at Luther behind them "Luther used to be part gorilla and now he's an exotic danser" Klaus said and Luther waved at them "Hi" the two woman said "Hi" a man said as they waved at Luther who waved back before walking away.

"Which one went to prison?" a woman asked "That's Ben" Klaus said before he spotted Ben "Benny-boy!" Klaus waved at him but Ben just gave him the finger "Yeah, I love you too" Klaus said "And who's the real screwed up one, yeah?" a woman asked "Uh..." Klaus said "You know, the teething cheating addict?" she asked "Oh!" another woman said "What a scumbag" another woman said "Yeah, that would be me" Klaus said and the group started speaking in foreign language.

"Klaus?" a voice asked and Klaus turned around to see you and Five "Oh, hey!" he approached the two of you "Five. How's it going?" he asked "Fine" Five said "Okay" you said.

"So, how long have you being sober now?" Five asked "Oh uh, coming up on three years on January 15th, but who's counting right" Klaus said "That's amazing. Really good for you" Five said "Yeaah, you are doing so good, I'm proud of you brother" you patted his shoulder.

"Thanks you two, I really appreciate it" Klaus said and the three of you cheered your cub.

"So how it is going between you two?" Klaus asked "It's going well" you said "Yeah, we're working on a case" Five said "How is the normal life treating you?" Klaus asked "Good" you both nodded.

"Any luck with---" you both shook your head "No" you let out a sigh "I'm actually about to lose hope that we will ever managed to get pregnant" you said.

"Don't worry Love" Five put his arm around you "Maybe it's not the time" he said "Then when it's the time, Five?" you looked at your husband who looked at you "Be patient my love, all good things come to those who wait" he kissed your cheek. 

"You two are so cute, I'm so glad that you have each other. And I really hope that one day the two of you would have a mini you running around" Klaus said "We hope that too" you said "But you can always adopt" Klaus said "Yeah" you nodded "But I still dream of the feeling of walking around, knowing another human is growing inside of me, the joy of creating a child, Fives and I own blood and DNA, the joy and experiences of being pregnant, all the things you only experiences doing your pregnancy" you said before leaving.

"We can't adopt" Klaus looked back at Five "They say we are too young, and we don't have any proof of how old we actually are" he said "I'm so sorry for hear that" Klaus said "I just want to give my wife a child, that is her biggest dream, and I will so awful and guilt that I can't give her that" Five said "It's not your fault, and no matter what, Y/n would still love you, and she will never leave you" Klaus said "I just really want to give her a child, beside I think having a child and be a parent would also be good for us, so therefore I want that too" Five said "And don't worry, you guys will managed one day, just be patient" Klaus said "I hope you are right" Five sighed.

Lila walked out of the building and towards Diego's van who was name Wanda, but she stopped, like she was taken a breath or hesitate over something.

She then opened the truck of the van but then when she looked to the left she spotted Allison in her chair smoking. So she walked over to car before opening the front door which cause Allison to let out a gasp before she cough and waved with her right hand, trying to get the smoke out.

"Oh, oh, sorry. I was---" she said as Lila closed the door "As you were. I just need a minute" she said and she let out a sigh "Tell me it gets better when they're older" the two looked at each other "Tell me it gets easier" Lila said "Once they hit puberty---" "Give me that" Lila grab the thing Allison was smoking before taken a puff of it.

"That's better" she said before looking at Allison and chuckled which made her chuckled as well and they both started laughing "You coming in, or you just gonna linger out here like a total psycho?" Lila asked "I can't. I can't" Allison said "Mmm. Mm-hmm" Lila nodded as she took another puff.

"You can" she said "No. Nobody wants me in there" Allison said "Nobody cares anymore" Lila wheezily and Allison looked at her "I don't" Lila said as she took Allison's carkeys.

"It would be so awkward" Allison said "They're over it. Let's go" Lila opened the door "No, Lila--" Lila step out of the car "Give me my...Hey! Give me my keys!" Allison said "Chop-chop" Lila said to her as she gave her a smirked.

"Lila! Gimme my keys!" Allison had followed after Lila into the party, trying to get her to give her back her keys, but Lila refuse.

"Please don't make me go in there" Allison said as Lila was carrying three huge bottle of soda.

"Allison, listen to me" Lila said "No...Nobody likes me here" Allison said "You're being dramatic, my kids is more behave than you right now" Lila said "I'm telling you, nobody wants me here. Please. You don't understand" Allison said "Trust me, you're fine" Lila said.

You, Five and the others turned around to see Allison with Lila.

"Lila, I'm too stoned for this" Allison said as the siblings glance at her. "This was a mistake" she said "You're right. This is incredibly awkward" Lila said.

"Uh...Hey, uh. Allison!" Luther said with an awkward smile.

Luther then started walking over to her "Uh...Uh..." he said awkwardly.

"Hey! So glad you made it" he smiled "Just...though I'd pop in and say hello" she said before smiling as Lila walked away.

"Hello" Allison waved "Yeah. Great" Luther smiled "It's, uh, been a minute, huh? Since we've..." "Yeah" she said as he nodded "Yeah. Um..." she said before looking around "Is Viktor here?" she asked "No. No. He's not here yet, but, uh, he said he was coming, so..." Luther said "Yeah" she said before walking past him "Okay, see you later" he said.

Diego and Luther was standing next to each other, leaned up against a ball bit with a bottle of beer in their hands.

"I mean, you do the job, even though it's killing you and the kids, they suck whatever energy you have left" Diego said "Mmm" Luther nodded "And the in-laws, I mean...I'm glad they're alive in this timeline, but that don't mean I want them living in my house" Diego said and Luther nodded.

"And then there's Lila. You know, she told me she couldn't get pregnant while breastfeeding" Diego said and Luther looked at him "You can, by the way. I actually can't understand why Five is not so tired of this like I am, and how him and Y/n can figure things out and make things work, is like they are the perfect dream fantasy couple, I don't get it, what is their secrets. But they are lucky they don't have any kids" Diego said.

 "Diego, come on, man. Some people would kill to have what you have. You know? Maybe that is why Five and Y/n is not tired of this life they have, is because he have finally gotten something they always wanted but never thought they could have. They  appreciate the things they have gotten and that is what they do. And you know how much Y/n and Five wants to be parents, have a kid of their own. That is Y/n's biggest dream" Luther said and Diego took a sip of his bottle "I mean..." Luther looked over at Lila and Grace that was playing with bubbles before he glanced over at you and Five who was talking with  Klaus.

"I know Sloane and I would have killed to have this" Luther said "Shit" Diego said before he looked at his brother as he did a slightly nod "You're right. I'm sorry" he said.

"Diego, where's the cake?" Lila asked "You said piñata before cake" Diego said "That was like two hours ago!" Lila said annoying as she took off her birthday hat. "Can we get this show on the road?" she looked at her wrist watch "I have book club tonight" she said before leaving to get the cake.

Since it was Grace's birthday, she was the first time in line to hit the piñata.

"One, two, three..." Diego spind his daughter around "Yeah, Grace!" Allison cheered.

"Four, five six" Diego said before stopping "Now go!" he smiled and Grace started hitting the piñata with a bat while Diego was growling playfully.

"Harder!" Diego cheered "Yeah, Grace" Noa cheered "A little more" Ben said "All right" Five said "You can do it Grace" you cheered as Grace kept hitting the piñata "All right. That's enough. Good job" Diego clapped "Good effort" Five said "Good job" you said.

"Come here, birthday girl" you smiled and Grace approached you before the two of you high-five "Yes" you both smiled.

Then it was a little boy's turn and he started hitting the piñata but it didn't not break "Wow. They really can't break that thing, huh?" Luther asked "East side piñatas are notorious for their difficulty" Diego glanced at Lila.

"Screw this. I'm starving" Luther said before he walked over to the piñata "Out of the way, kid" he said to a little boy before he looked at the piñata.

"I'll hit you, son of a bitch" Luther let out a grunt as he punch the piñata "Oh" Allison said "Come on" Luther started grunting as he kept punching the piñata more aggressively.

"What the...what..." Ben said while you and Five glanced at each other.

"All right, you asked for it!" Luther said before bitting the piñata which cause the children to scream.

Then Lila and Diego enter with the cake just as Luther got the piñata free, but by accident he swung it towards the cake causing it to fell up in the air and landing on the floor with a splat making the kids gasp.

Grace then started crying "It's okay, Sweetie" you comfort her "My cake!" Grace cried.

Diego took the piñata out of Luther's hands "What is wrong with you?" he asked "I got it open" Luther responded.
