CHAPTER THIRTY-NINE: TWO VERSIONS

Energy was thrumming as wind was howling and electricity was sizzling while the energy force kept getting stronger.

Diego and Allison looked at each other as they had their heads leaned forward while the energy blasts kept getting worse and stronger.

Allison cried out as the electricity was sizzling.

"Vanya's in the room at the end of the hall" Diego said out loud over the sound of the energy cracking around them.

"How do you propose we get to her?" Allison asked "I haven't figured that one out, yet" Diego said "You can count me out" Klaus said "Klaus!" Allison shouted as she turned her head to him.

"What? You guys should save her. You're great at all the hero shit" Klaus said "Oh, Klaus" Allison shouted again as the two turned to him "Listen, listen. Vanya would understand. Cause she has realistic expectations of what I am. And what I am, is sexy trash" he said "You're a big pussy, that's what you are" Diego said to him "Guys, now is not the time" Allison said "Why? Because I don't wanna die? Who does? And martyrs aren't around to enjoy the victory party cause they're dead!" Klaus said "You are going out there.." Diego said and grabbed his shoulder "I'm not! Go away!" Klaus said "...Or I'm gonna beat you, and not the way you like it" Diego said as he moved around Allison.

"That's my cue" Allison said before she moved around the desk "Hey! Allison!" Diego shouted as she lunged his arm to where Allison was, trying to stop her "No! Allison!" Klaus shouted.

Allison got down on the floor and started crawling towards the room while grunting as the energy kept crackling and the wind kept howling.

She started bleeding out of her nose as she came closer "VANYA!" she shouted, her voice was hard to hear as there were more energy blasts "Vanya" she shouted again trying to make her way towards the door.

But then she was push back by a wave, throwing her backward before she slide back and hit the desk, knocking her out.

"All right. I'm going" Diego said but then Klaus grabbed him "No, wait, wait, wait, wait" he said "What?" Diego asked as he looked at him.

"If you don't make it back, there's one thing that I need to tell you" Klaus said "I don't have time for this" Diego said "Please" Klaus said "What?" Diego asked "You look like Antonio Banderas with long hair. I just thought you should know" Klaus said to him "Thanks, man" Diego said before he got out from behind the desk and started walking towards the room.

Diego grunted as the wind continue howling as he fought his way forward with a groan as energy surges.

Diego felled to the floor, but he pulled out two of his knives before he but the blades in the floor as he used them to get closer.

He let out another groan as he used all his strength to move forward, using the knives to stop him from going backwards.

A loud rattling was heard as Diego looked back to see Allison laying unconscious.

"KLAUS! I'M NOT GONNA MAKE IT! IT'S UP TO YOU, BUDDY! YOU GOTTA SAVE THE WORLD!" Diego shouted "NO, DIEGO, THAT'S A TERRIBLE IDEA!" Klaus shouted.

Diego then crawled his way over to a firehost that was on the wall. He lifted his hand before he pulled the handle making the long hose to move all the way down to the other end.

Diego let out a grunt before he was slide back, unconscious.

"Okay, Klaus. You can do this. You fought in Vietnam. You survived a family of Eight. And you once wore a sarong to a fraternity party and got a shitload of numbers" Klaus said while the wind kept howling and the energy kept crackling.

"Come on. Be that guy Y/n know you are" he said before he took a deep breath and got up.

Klaus grabbed the hose before he got up and his nose started bleeding as he grabbed the hose with both hands.

He cried out as he use the hose to get closer to the door at the end of the hallway.

He fought his way forward while grunting as the energy force wave kept getting stronger.

He let out a gasp as his ears also began bleeding.

When Klaus was close enough, he jumped forward before he press his body up against the door.

He put his hand on the handle but as he opened the door an energy force was push towards him, throwing him backwards before he slide back, laying with Allison and Diego.

Klaus opened his eyes a bit to see Ben standing in front of them, while looking down at him.

Ben was a ghost and therefore he wasn't affected by the energy wave.

So Ben turned around to looked at the room at the end of the hallway.

He then started walking towards the room.

You were walking next to your past self as Luther was walking next to older Five across a bridge that was built over a train line while teen Five was walking behind them.

You didn't really know which of the three men you were surrounded by was acting more stupid. It was very close to think it might have to be a tie.

Luther was walking next to older Five who was actually really calm.

While your Five, god you'd never seen him such a mess. He was acting crazy, yelling at almost every person that had even just look his way. 

The five of you walked across a bridge that was built over a train line.

"So" older Y/n said and you looked at your older self "If you are saying you really are me then answer some questions" older Y/n said "Okay, hit me" teen you said "How did we ended up in the apocalypse?" older Y/n asked "When Five got angry 'cause Dad wouldn't let him time travel, he ran away and since we were best friends, we went with him. And we don't regret it" you said "Did we blame him?" older Y/n asked "No" you shook your head.

"Our first kiss with him?" older Y/n asked "At 18" teen you said "How long have Five and I being a couple?" older Y/n said "Being a couple for 40 and married for 38. Gave us a handmade ring with the bright blue green crystal and two months later, we made him a ring and we got married" you said before looking at your older self "We always wanted to get married, have kids, live our own life, and we only wanted it with Five, even when we landed in the apocalypse, that dream never went away, but we were scared both in the bad things that can happen in the apocalypse but also because we were scared in Five's answer which is why we never talk about kids with him" you explain.   

Older Y/n narrowed her eyes at her future self before she nodded and walked up ahead.

"All right, just be cool till I finish the job on the grassy knoll. We'll get the time math and I'll ice the squirt and my Y/n/n will kill the other vision of her" older Five said to Luther "I just wish there was another way, you know?" Luther said "There isn't. Look at him. Look" older Five said and Luther turned a bit to look at teen Five behind them.

"What are you looking at?" teen Five said asked a woman as he walk up to the bridge "See something funny?" he asked aggressive and you rolled your eyes. The paradox psychosis was getting worse since Five had gotten more paranoid.

"Fivey. He's not looking at you" you told teen Five "He was" he said aggressive.

"Worst case of paradox psychosis I ever seen" older Five said and Luther glanced back at teen Five as he kept walking "What's wrong?" older Five asked "Well, I...feel bad for him. You know?" Luther asked "Mind your business! Or I'll give you something to stare at" teen Five said to a woman that walk past him.

"You wish you could pull of these shorts!" teen Five said aggressive "Five, pull yourself together" you said before you looked at the woman "Sorry, he is not feeling well, it's his time of the month" you called out to the woman.

"Stop looking at me" teen Five shouted at a guy that walked past them.

You rolled your eyes before you grabbed Five's shoulder "Now that was real mature" you pulled him to her side.

"I don't like the way she looked at me" Five said as he itched his cheek.

"Get it together. You're acting worse than a child" you said "I'm not" Five argued "You are and it's embarrassing. You are acting like the one that is pregnant here" you said "She was looking at me funny" Five said "You're the one yelling at random people where some of them isn't even looking at you. The only person who is looking at you weird is me. I know you are not handle the psychosis very well. Beside those people are hardly looking at you" you said.

"I'm no in psychosis right now" he said "Sure" you said sarcastically.

"You need to calm down, so stay on task, stay focus" you demanded and Five itched his neck before he looked at Luther and his past self "What are they talking about?" he asked "I don't know. Maybe they are not even talking" you said "They are talking and it must be serious, 'cause they look like it" Five said "You're always serious" you said "That's right, but I'm serious about you" he said "Stop flirting right now and focus on this" you said as you gave him a small slap at the back of his head.

"What was that for?" he asked "For acting like this. You are being a raging asshole" you said "I'm not an asshole" he said.

"Five, are you drunk?" you asked "You wish I was" he said "You know maybe you are drunk, maybe I should talk to your other self, he at least act normal" you said which cause Five to snapped his head at you. 

"You don't mean that?" he asked "I know" you smiled, messing with him was actually fun. If Five wasn't affected by his psychosis, he would have realized what you were doing and he would have played along.

"How can you be so calm. I know you also have paradox psychosis" Five said "'Cause I'm a woman and women can handle the psychosis better than men can, beside they comes and goes" you said as you itch your neck.

"You're acting crazy" you said "You know what Y/n/n. I'm not liking the attitude you're giving me" Five said "Attitude? What kind of attitude. You're the one yelling at random people where some of them isn't even looking at you. The only person who is looking at you weird is me. I know you are not handle the psychosis very well" you said "I'm fine" Five said.

"No, you're not--" "Fuck off Y/n. I'm not liking your mood. Leave me alone" he said "Fine. I wouldn't stop the other Five from killing you then" you said before you took two steps in front of Five "Are you leaving me now!" Five shouted but you just gave him the finger "I can leave you whenever I want, Fivey. Especially, when you're being a raging asshole" you said "So, I'm the asshole, now? I'm sorry I'm being such an asshole that all I ever do is to make you happy and make sure you were safe" he said aggressive.

"You know what would make me happy right now. It's for you to shut the fuck up for once in your damn life. So I can have my peace and quite" you said "You want me to shut up now? How about you do it first since you're the bitch. Getting angry at me for no reason" he said "You know I'm done with this. I have handle you for 45 years, I can't handle you anymore. When we're done here, I'm filling for divorce" you said aggressive "Fine by me!" he shouted at her aggressive.

Both teen you and teen Five was feeling the psychosis getting worse and you would never say something like that to each other, but it was the psychosis that made you both act like that.

Older Five and older Y/n could handle the psychosis better since they were in their full grown bodies.

"He's just a little guy" Luther said "Everybody's a little guy to you" older Y/n said "You wish you could pull of these shorts!" teen Five said aggressive.

"You look like King Kong and the Hitler Youth had a baby. Luther, I...I don't have time for you to tuck and squeeze here. Can I count on you to keep him under control?" past Five said "Yeah, I'll do my best, yeah" Luther said "All right" older Five said before he walk up ahead and older Y/n followed after older Five while teen you slowed down a bit so you could walk next to teen Five and Luther.

"So what did you two talked about?" older Five asked older Y/n "I gave her some questions which only you and myself could answer" older Y/n said "And?" older Five asked "She answered them correct" she replied "So it's another version of me" she said "So what's the plan?" older Five asked "I'm with you honey. I will handle the other version of me" she said and older Five nodded.

"Hey sis" Luther said to you with a smile "Not in the mood Luther" you said and Luther looked at Five "Hey, brother. How you doing?" Luther asked him with a small smile.

"They're gonna kill us, aren't they?" he asked and Luther let out a scoffing laugh "What" he said and the two of you looked at him "What, them?" Luther asked as he pointed on past Y/n and past Five "They're gonna kill you two?" he asked as he let out a softly laugh "Yeah, right. That's ridiculous" he said as you walked down from the bridge.

"You know, you're terrible liar, Luther" you said and Five put hands in his pockets as he turned to look at Luther "You're a worse liar than you are a spotter" he said and Luther snapped his head to look at him "Okay, whose fault is that? What good is having a spotter if you won't even listen to him?" he asked "So you admit you're conspiring against us?" you asked "Do...Do you admit that you two are suffering form paradox psychosis?" Luther asked them "All we're suffering from is bracing clarity about you and your murderous intentions" Five said aggressive as he was itching his chest before looking forward "Exactly" you said aggressive.

"Look, it's not like they're gonna 'kill you' kill you. They just wants to kill a, um...version of you two" Luther said "We are that version of us" Five said "How dumb are you Luther?" you said as you itch your neck again.

"Hey, I don't love it either, but he's actually got a pretty good plan" Luther said and you rolled your eyes "Yeah, it's a good plan to kill us. Gee thank you" both you and Five said sarcastically.

You and Five glanced to the side, itching their chests again before turning back to Luther "That plan about you where you guys off me and Five and then jump to 2019 to save the world?" you asked and you both pushed the palm of your hands against your foreheads as they learned your heads back uncomfortably while Luther looked at you and Five.

"Yeah, wait, how did you two know that?" Luther asked as you and Five ran your hands through your hair while you both started looking more aggressive and you pointed to your older self who was ways in front of you.

"Because we are literally them, you moron" you said as you both raised your voice "And that is exactly what we would do if we were trying to kill us" Five said, turning to Luther as he raised his voice.

"By the way what's up with you and Y/n/n?" Luther asked "Just my wife calling me an asshole. Which I'm not" Five said as he looked at you "You are an asshole" you said "You bitch--" "Hey! Enough both of you. I don't want to play your couples therapy" Luther said before he looked at Five "Are you two really getting a divorce?" he asked "I hope not. It's just the psychosis talking" Five said "We will see asshole" you said "Can you see what it is I'm dealing with?" he asked as he pointed on you who flipped him off.

Luther put his fingers up to his temples, pointing to nothing in front of him "Okay, all I know is we've got one Five and one Y/n too many and you two are the ones acting like maniacs" he said causing both you and Five to snapped your heads at Luther "Maniac?" you and Five said aggressive.

"You did not just say that" you said.

"Luther, you have seen nothing. If you want a maniac, we will show you maniac" Five said threatened and aggressive causing Luther to furrowed his brows while backing up slightly as he got in his face while you rolled your yes.

"And Y/n/n, I can hear your eyes rolling behind me. I'm still not done with you" he said "I will punch you right in the face" you hissed aggressive as you itch your cheek.

"Okay, as your guys spotter, I think the best thing I can do for you two right now is put you out of your misery" Luther said and you both let out a scoff "I would like to see you try" you muttered under your breath.

"Okay, Luther, listen" Five said as he grabbed Luther's shoulders causing them both to stop and Luther turned to face him.

"We know your feeble mind only responds to age and authority, so listen very closely" you started "Yet again, your are experiencing daddy issues" Five said, poking his fingers on Luther's chest before putting both of his hands in his pockets.

"This time with your own brother and sister, which honestly is making us a bit crazy" he said before he inhaled while fixing his blazer.

"But remember this: I'm 14 days older than him" he said as he pointed on his past self "And I'm around a year older than the other me" you pointed on your past self.

"We have seniority here. So it is us you should be listening to, Luther" Five said as he pointed on himself and on you with his thumbs.

"I'M THE DADDY HERE! AND Y/N IS THE MOMMY HERE!" Five shouted out loudly, making the pedestrians on the street to look at you before they started whispering.

Luther chuckled "How's it going?" he said with a forced laugh while smiling to some people walking past you.

Luther then put a hand on Five's back as he crouched down to his height.

"Five, please, you're being unseemly. Look at you" Luther said before he looked at you "Look at you Y/n" he said "Look at you monkey man" you said "Hey" Luther said as he pointed his finger at you "Don't talk to me like that. I'm your friend" he said "We are brother and sister" you said "You need to listen to me" he said as he moved his finger closer to you.

"Get that finger off my face or you will regret it" she said aggressive "No" Luther said "Get that finger off her Luther. She is not just a kicker, she is also a biter" Five warned and Luther looked at him "I'm not scared of--ah" Luther said as he quickly pulled his finger away from you who had just bite it, leaving a small mark on the edge of his finger.

"I warned you" Five said as you started walking again after older Y/n and older Five.

"Me and Y/n/n admit there is possibility that we may not be in our fully...right mind right now" Five said as he was holding his right hand on his chest.

"Okay, good" Luther said "But whatever we got, they got it too" Five said, looking at his older self while they were looking at their past self "What?" Luther asked "Use your eyes and brain, monkey Man, that other Five and other me has it too. They are also suffering from the same state of paradox psychosis, they are just good a hiding it" you said.

"Quit grab-assing. We're here" past Five said as you arrived at the place.

You then grabbed Luther's arm causing him to turn to you. "Listen to me moon boy. You may be my brother. But I swear if anything happens to my little Fivey, I will murder you with my bare hands and then I will tear your arm off and beat you to death with it and then I will impale you with something sharp. I will kill you three times" you said "They're both your husband" Luther said "Three times" you said again as you held three of your fingers up and Luther nodded in fear.

"Good. Beside the past Five is my past version's husband while the little Five is my husband" you itch your neck and Luther could see that the psychosis in you got worse.

"Why is it that one moment you are showing sign of the psychosis and the next you are normal?" Luther asked "'Cause with women, the psychosis comes and goes and right now is gone but it will be back in a minute" you said.

"From a scale from 1-10, how bad do you want to kill and Five right now?" Luther asked "I'm guessing somewhere around a nine but if it continues like this it will be high twenty" you said and Luther nodded in fear.

Older Five opened the gun case.

"Flatulence. Stage four" Luther said to present Five as you heard older Five farts.

"See? What's your plan, now, bucko?" Five asked as he rubbed his hands together before he let out a fart causing Luther to look at him "That was just lunch, all right? Shut up" Five said.

"I will stay near the other me, in case she decided to do something to you" Five looked at you "But careful, I can't risk you getting hurt" he said "I will be fine" you said.
