CHAPTER FOURTEEN: AN APOCALYPSE WEDDING

Flashback start...

It has being two months since Five ask you to be his wife and even so you had the ring on your finger you still didn't felt like you were married, therefore you were now sitting by the fire and was making a handmade ring for Five, it was a green crystal that you have found and you have decided to use it for the wedding ring for Five.

"So" a voice said and you looked up to see Five "So what?" you asked "I have a gift for you" he said "What?" you asked and he stretched his left hand towards you.

"Come, take my hand" you got up before taking his hand and he blinked you both away. 

When you opened your eyes, you saw that you were inside what looked to be an old church that was in ruins, but lucky the floor and the altar was still standing.

The roof was also gone so you could see the stars that was shining on the clear night sky.

"I found it on my walk" Five said as you were looking at the place.

A long road of flowers that had being wrapped together was over the altar and lit up candles had being place around the area.

It almost looked like a real wedding.

You could see that Five has really done his best to make it look like a real wedding.

"So that's why you have being gone for long for the past few weeks" you said and he nodded.

 "I think we could have our apocalypse wedding here" he said and you looked back at him "An apocalypse wedding" you said and he looked back at you "I like that idea" you said with a smile.

"But why?" you asked "When we were kids you once told me how much you want to get married and I didn't think that giving you a ring and asking you to be my wife was enough" he said "You didn't have to" you said "You deserve it" he said and you smiled.

You took a deep breath before you walked around the corner to see Five standing by the altar.

While you slowly was walking towards him, tears slowly forming at the brim of your eyes. Your eyes finally met his, tears filling his too.

Five didn't care about anything at the moment. His eyes had automatically and purposely blurred you surroundings to keep his attention solely on you.

You were so beautiful and he never knew what actually love was before he fell for you.

Looking at you and he knew that he had made the right choice. You were the one he wanted to spend always and forever with.

You stopped when you reach him at the altar and you smiled as you looked at each other.

Even so there was no one at the wedding, you still felt the eyes of your love ones looking at you with big smiles on their faces.

"So who is the one officiate the ceremony?" you asked and he took a quick look at something next to you and you saw Delores "She wanted to be here" he said and you chuckled.

Sometimes, you get what you've always been wishing for
And most times, it's not on your deadline, but that's alright
I was worn out and jaded from trying on people to love
But you fit so well

"I Five Hargreeves, take Y/n Hargreeves to my lawfully wedded wife, I promise to love you, respect you, honor you, care for you, protect you, support you, defend you, tease you, argue with you, laugh with you...And so on and so on. I promise to support you in whatever you choose to do. I promise not to judge you. I promise to be silly and laugh with you. A lot. I promise to be honest with you. I promise that I'll never stop loving you, not even for a second, I promise to remind you every day how much I care about you. I promise to never break your heart. I promise to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish you, till death to us apart" he said.

When they ask why I can never explain
But a symphony played when you told me your name
And I took that as a sign

"I Y/n Hargreeves, take Five Hargreeves as my lawfully wedded husband, I promise to love you, respect you, honor you, care for you, protect you, support you, defend you, tease you, argue with you, laugh with you, I promise to remind you every day how much I care about you. I promise to never break your heart. I promise to support you in whatever you choose to do. I promise not to judge you, and I promise to never stop loving you, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish you, till death do us apart" you said.

"Y/n, as you know, I've always been sceptical about this day, but looking at you now, I'm glad I've done it.  We have knew each other since we were babies, and I've loved you since we were 18, I have loved you a lot longer, but it was first at 18 I knew that what I felt for you was love. I've never wanted anyone else, and I never will. I know I haven't been good to you, and I've treated you appallingly, but I want to change. You're right, I love our life, I love the life we have build together, even if it's been unintentional, I love you with all my heart and I'm going to fight for that forever and a day. For us. I will never judge you and I will always check up on you and make sure you're safe and okay. Even if you hate me, I'm still here for you. Even if we fight or I'm mad at you, if you say you're struggling I'm here. I promise to stay and I will not break that promise. Your happiness is mine. When you're happy so am I. Sometimes, it's hard to see what the future holds

There's magic in details, the tender small gestures of love

"Y/n, seeing you hurt is the worst pain I've felt and doing what we do I can't promise you a life without danger or hurt. But I can promise you that you will never have to go through any of it alone. You jump, I jump...You're endured things that would break even the strongest of people. But instead of breaking, you became so much stronger. All whilst remaining the woman I love. The strongest, most beautiful, caring, selfless, loving and funniest person I know. And I'm beyond honored that I get to call you mine. I love you more and more every day. If it's even possible to love someone that much" he said with a chuckled "It is" you said with a nod.

"And I didn't fall in love with you because I needed someone in my life, I fell in love with you because you make me feel worth it every single day which is emotion that I never thought I'd ever feel. All I thought my life was full of was sadness and the occasional happiness but every single day you show me my worth, you show me the love that I deserve and I vow to give that back to you for the rest of my life. In a world of nothing, I found everything in you" he said.

It was you. You were the chapter that I didn't know the words to, but always knew it existed and when I finally found it and began to read, I knew I was home. My love for you will never end" he said before taking a deep breath.

I love the way you make sarcastic remarks, your personality, your passion for things, your thoughtfulness, your selflessness, your strong mentality, your supportiveness. "I love you. You are my world. Wherever you go, I go. I need you in my life. I wanted to remind you that I'm never leaving you, I want you every second of every day until the end of forever. Your irreplaceable, you are my everything and there is not a second that goes by that you're not on my mind. As long as you're with me. I'm not going anywhere. I won't leave. I won't give up. I will be here every single time you need me. You can doubt it. You can try to push me away because you think I'll just leave anyway but that will never be true. I don't care if there are a hundred millions reason to leave...You are the only reason to stay. Because I love you so much" he said before he took a deep breath.

"I know that is the apocalypse, but even so if you were not the only other person alive, I would still have marry you. I love you, so, so much and I will never stop loving you, not even for a second. I will love you all day, everyday, in every timeline and in every universe. My love for you is a journey, starting at forever, and ending at never. I love you more than words can show. We've celebrated the milestones with joy, and we've enjoyed the small moments of life, never forgetting each and every day, to love each other along the way. And if the world wasn't ending, I would have want to spend every day of every moment with you, showing you how much I love you, I would want us to spend the rest of our lives together. You gave me a heart full of love, and is because of that and you that I'm smiling. I fell in love with the 'bad' you see in yourself but the bad you see is the great that I see because I love every parts of you, every little bit and you deserve the whole world" he said "You deserve the world, too" you said.

"You are my world. And I opened the door and chose to pour my heart into you...to invest my time in you...to dive into all of your layers , and I choose to dive more each day. Yes, I believe in fate and destiny, and I do believe things happen for a reason...but only to the extent that our brain will allow us to process what is in front of us, and then we all are left to make choices every day. I love your bright smile, your voice, your kind eyes, your personality, your heart and soul, the way you made me feel inside and the way you treated me, your laugh, your hugs and touches that make me feel safe and free. "I have loved you all my life and at the age of eight, I knew that I loved you, but I just haven't realized it at that time. I started noticing the little things about you. How you always bite your cheek when you're reading, how you are always playing with your fingers or messing with your necklace when you are really thinking about something. How you noticed the little thing about people, how when you were young, always bitten your nails when you were nervous. All the habits I had grown to love. To admire. It was not until I was 13, I knew that what I felt for you was different. You became my world. And I knew it wasn't just young love we felt, I knew it was everlasting. I've come to realize that there isn't a single word to describe my feelings for you. So for now, I'll say this...there isn't a single thing that can take my eyes off you. I look at you and the world around us and wonder how satisfied the universe must be after creating something even more beautiful than a sunset. Please keep laughing and smiling and finding the joy in little things. You make my life so much better and I can't imagine living without you. You are the most amazing, caring and kindest woman I know. Thank you for reminding me that not everything has to be so serious all the time. You are the definition of pure, unaltered love, and I love you so much for it. You brought out the best in me, you brought me out of the darkness, your kind and warm heart and soul fixed my cold heart and that's one of the many reasons I love you and I will never forget the moment I realized I loved you. "No one could ever understand how important you are to me, you are everything I always wanted in life, my prayers finally came true. Loving you was learning that I could be loved too, with my flaws and imperfections, with my baggage. Loving you was to learning how I unload this baggage so I could be light again. Loving you was learning which parts of me I need to work on and which parts of me should stay the same. It was recognizing that love makes me invincible. It make me a force to be reckoned with. Loving you was learning how to believe in love. It was learning how to trust again. It was learning that love doesn't always hurt. It doesn't always walk away. It doesn't always destroy us. "You should do all the things you want to do. I never want to be the person holding you back. I want to be the one by your side. It won't always be easy, but I want to do whatever it takes to make this work, because that's what you do when you love someone. Wherever you are, that is the only place I wanted to be" he said.

As his vows left his mouth, pure love could be heard in his voice, it had always being you and it will always be you.

You wasn't expecting those words to come from Five.

You knew that Five was never good with emotions or showing them. But it was like you could see right through him, you could see what he felt. Five has never being a soft person or a comforting one, but he can if he is around you. You made him soft and weak. You were his biggest weakness but also his biggest strength and the same went for you. He was your biggest weakness but also your biggest strength.

You tried your best to hold back the tears of joy that you could feel in your eyes.

"Woah. I didn't knew those words could come out of your mouth" you said "They only can because of you" he said.

 "Five, I have being waited for this day every since we were kids and I never thought it would happen, but here I am, about to marry the love of my life. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I can't imagine loving you more than I do right now. But I felt that way yesterday and the day before yesterday and the day before that" you said while Five smiled as he let a tear slip, listening to your every word.

"You are the man who surrounds me with unquenchable love. You are a loving, handsome, smart, strong, brave, and caring person. I remember one time when we were training as kids I broke my leg, and you helped me and made sure I was okay all the way to my room. You took care of me, you refused to go on any missions, you didn't care if you were punished by dad. You refused to leave my side until I got better. And that wasn't the only time you were for me. You were also there for me when dad lock me in the basement and you have always being there for me when we were kids. It all started when we were four. One night it was thunder outside and I was scared. I don't know how you knew that I was scared, but you came to my room and you would stay there until the thunder was gone. You kept me company and calm me down, you lay down next to me in bed. You wrapped your arm around me and pull me closer, so my face was pressed against your chest. And then you would start humming. And every since that day, you were always there for me. Everyday all the time. And that never changed, not even after we have being apart for so many years. It didn't changed. When you came back, you were still there for me. When I gave up, you gave me the hope I needed. When I was weak, you gave me the strength to fight on until I reached what I have wanted. When I was sad, you comforted me until I laughed and every second I was happy, was because you were by my side. Now here I'm in front of the man of my dreams, my world, my hope, my future, my first and only love, my everything" she said and Five smiled "Five, I fell in love with you a long time ago and now, many years later, I'm still not done with it. I will love you always and forever" you said before taking a deep breath.

"Every since we were kids I have believe that there is something special between us, we do have our ups and downs but honestly you made me the happiest person in the world and I couldn't ask for a better person. I looked into your eyes and I lost myself right away. I most admit that I never believe in love at first sight until I saw you. You are everything and more that I could ever ask for in life and I feel so lucky to be able to call you mine. I promise I will do whatever it take to keep you in my life forever. There's nothing that scares me more than the thought of losing you and live a life without you. I promise to love you unconditionally, to honor you each and every day, to make you smile when you don't, to laugh with you when you are happy, to support you when you are sad, to be there for you when you need me, and most importantly, to never stop loving you. I am so grateful to have you in my life. You always know just what to say or do to make me feel better. You are what gets me by on even my darkest of days. I appreciate you so much. You are the one I want to share all of life's moments with, both big and small. From sunny days to stormy night. I can't imagine growing old with anyone else but you. I will always stand by you. Through the good times and the bad, through the ups and downs. I am here to stay through it all, together we can overcome anything that comes our way. Together, we'll create a lifetime of memories, laughter, and love. Whatever comes our way, we are in this together. It wasn't your pretty eyes that made me fall in love with you, it wasn't your cute smile, your beautiful face or your gorgeous body, it was your heart. A heart that I knew I'd never come across again. That's what made you beautiful to me. You're the only person I want for the rest of my life. Something about you made me feel a little more alive and far less lost. Thank you for loving the parts of me that are not easy to love. Turning the pages gently and helping me re-write a happy ending to my narrative. You saw the good in me and you changed me for the better. I'd never give up on us, no matter how hard it gets. I told you I wanted you for life and that's ain't changing, there's been a place for you in my heart since the first time I saw you and you will be unloved by me because what I have with you, I don't want with anyone else, so please believe me when I say I want you and you only" you said before taking a deep breath.

"I love you' means that I accept you for the person that you are, and that I don't wish to change you into someone else. It means that I do not expect perfection from you, just as you don't expect it from me. 'I love you' means that I will love you and stand by you even through the worst of times. It means loving you when you are in a bad mood or too tired to do the things I want to do. I mean loving you when you are down. Love is in the air when I am with you. The loving grace and that care with you. All my dreams starts with you and ends on your loving name. My love for you will never end. My love for you is till eternity as you are my love and density" you said and he smiled.

"I just wanted to tell you this one little thing. Out of all the people in this world. I honestly can't imagine myself loving anyone else the way I love you. I honestly couldn't see myself with anyone else other than you. You're the one. You've been my ride or die since the day we locked eyes. My life partner. My soulmate. There's nothing in this world that can come between us, not even God himself. I choose you every single time. You're my life. I fell deeper and deep in love with you. Your radiant smile, your kind eyes and your soft lips. Every part of you, I am so hopelessly and endlessly in love with. I never want the way you make me feel to ever end"  you said "I wouldn't let that happen" he said with a smile.

"My love for you is beyond measure I didn't think it was ever humanly possible to love someone so much. You are literally the definition of perfect. You are beautiful from head to toe, inside and out and everything in between. Your smile, laugh, eyes, hair, everything about you is just freaking perfect to me. I'm so grateful that our paths crossed because I can't even imagine my life without you in it. I love you so much" he said and you smiled "I love you so much too" he said

"I love everything about you. I love the way you kiss me, the way you hold my hand, the way you look in my eyes like you just understand. Your love give me wings. I fell in love with you, because every time I hear your voice, I got tingle in my stomach, I love how your touch makes me feel safe and all my troubles and pain will disappear. I love that every time you smile, my whole world lit up and froze for a second. You make me feel special, as if I'm the only person in the world. You make my heart smile. You're always there for me, no matter what. You make me free as if I can be myself around you. I love your kind eyes, your bright smile, your voice, your personality, your heart and soul, the way you made me feel inside and the way you treated me, your laugh, your hugs and touchs that make me feel safe and free, your passion for things, your thoughtfulness, your selflessness, your strong mentality, your supportiveness. I love the way you make sarcastic remarks. I love everything about you. Your hair, your warm green eyes, your moles on your left cheek, your face, your hands, your smile, your laugh, your smirk, the way you walk and talk, your brain. I love every little thing about you" you said.

"So on today's occasion, I promise to love you unconditionally, to honor you each and every day, to make you smile when you don't, to laugh with you when you are happy, to support you when you are sad, to be there for you when you need me, and most importantly, to never stop loving you. You're the only person I want for the rest of my life" you said with a smile.

"Honestly all I want is for us to work...I don't say I love you just to say it. I say it because I'm truly in love with you...I wanna be there for you for the good days and the terrible days. Yes we fight sometimes, but everybody fights, we just gotta get through ours. I want us to become better together, because I don't see me without you. Every day is an adventure with you. Each moment is special in itself. My heart craves for you all times. I know you're the one for me and I want you to be by my side for the rest of time. I love you, forever and a day. You mean the world to me. You are the most amazing soulmate. I would be lost without you. I will never let you go. I will always love you, no matter what" you said before taking another deep breath "I've never been so scared of losing something in my entire life until I met you. You mean the world to me. Nothing has ever meant so much to me as you do and when we first met I would never imagine you would be this important to me. But you are and I never want you lose you" you said "You wouldn't lose me" he said.

"I hope it is not too late to tell you just how much being with you makes me feel. I may not be good with words but I hope my action shows that you mean everything to me. Everyday there is something new about you that makes me love you even more. You make me so happy. I am truly grateful to have you in my life. You always know what to say or do to make me feel better. You helped me through so many darkest days. Every time I say 'I love you' I want you to know that it's not just a simple phrase to me. Those three little words hold so much more weight than you may realize. I want to express how much you truly mean to me, and how you have become the most important person in my life. I cherish every moment we spend together, and the time we share is truly precious to me. I adore you for who you are, and I feel incredibly lucky to have you in my life. Thinking about you brings me so much joy, and I get lost in wonderful thoughts whenever I think about our furture together. "Well, then I think we can pronounce ourself as husband and wife and we may kiss now" he said and you nodded.

He was about to kiss you but you stop him "Wait" he looked at you "Do you have second thoughts" you shook your head.

"No. I just have something for you" you pulled something up from your pocket before you opened your hand to reveal a handmade ring with a green crystal.

"I made it myself, I think it was only fair, since you made a ring to me, I wanted to made one for you" 

Five smiled as you slid the ring on his finger "It's beautiful" he said before he looked at you.

"Now we can kiss" he smiled as you wrapped your arms around his neck while he put his hand on your waist as you pressed your lips against each other.

The kiss was rough and filled with love that mixed with lust perfectly. It was the type of kiss that made time stand still.
