CHAPTER ELEVEN: THE LIBRARY

You and Five have arrived at that building where Lance lived and you saw him walking out the building and towards his car while he was carrying his dog.

Lance unlock his car and he put his dog on the backseat before he went to the driver seat.

Five blinked you to the backseat before he blinked himself to the driver seat next to Lance just as he closed the door.

"Oh, Jesus!" Lance said when he saw Five sitting next to him and you leaned forward before you put your switchbalde's edge right on the middle of the back of Lance's neck while Five clicked his switchblade open before he grabbed Lance's collar, putting his face close to Lance's as he put the switchblade by his throat.

Lance's eyes widened as he tried to leaned back, but then he felt your switchblade's edge right at the back of his neck.

"One chance. That's all you got" you said "One chance to tell us exactly what's going on in that lab" Five said "All I have to do is move this dagger just a inch closer to your skin and you will be choking in your own blood" you said and the two of you could see and feel how scared Lance was.

 "I...I manufacture prosthetic devices for fake patients" Lance stammered "I bill the insurance companies and then sell them for cash on the black market" he said "Including eyeballs?" you asked "Yeah, they're my biggest seller. I mean, they sell like hotcakes. I--I've got a list, a waiting list, probably 20 buyers" Lance said "So, the serial number we told you..." Five said, his voice trailing off as an indication that Lance should keep talking.

"Uh, could've already been bought. Yes, off--off the books" Lance said and Five let out a sigh "We needed that list, Lance" Five said "Names and numbers, and we need it now" you said as your husband put the knife closer to Lance's throat "I don't have it. I mean, not on me" Lance said "Then where is it?" you asked "The only copy's in my safe at the lab" Lance answered "Well, you start the car, then" Five said "'Cause we're going on a field trip" Emma said and Lance nodded while Five leaned back, taking the blade away from Lance's throat "Okay" Lance said "Now" you and Five said "Okay" Lance said before he frantic his seatbelt "And don't waste your time, 'cause my wife here can get really impatient and then she can get angry and you don't want to make her angry" Five said.

You, Fiv and Lance arrived at the place before you got out of the car and Five dragged Lance with him as you were walking behind them towards the lab.

But then you noticed that black smoke was coming from the windows and glass could be heard shattering while the fire spread out of the windows "Is the building on fire or---" "Love, stay here" Five said before he started running towards the entrance of the building

"FIVE, DON'T!" you shouted before you began running after him "Shit" you said.

As you came to the entrance you put a hand on Five's shoulder before you went in front of him, but then an explosion went off by the entrance, you used your powers, protecting yourself and Five from the explosion metal that was shout out. 

But the blast from the explosion threw you both backwards.

You both let out a scream as you flew backwards before you both landed hard on the ground with a grunt.

Blocks, metal, glass and other stuff was laying around them.

Your ears was ringing like crazy and she were dizzy after the explosion. You let out a grunt before you started coughing as you put your hands on the ground.

Five's heart raced from the thought that you and him almost died from the explosion.

"Y/N" you heard a voice echoing worried and you could see that your vision was blurry while you could feel that you also had a concussion.

"Y/N" Five cried out before he rushed over to his wife, worried "Love, are you okay?" he asked worried as he began checking you for any cuts, lucky there weren't any.

"Why the hell did you jump in front of me? Why did you do that? You could have gotten hurt" he said "'Cause we protect each other, beside it's your fault, you know that you should never run towards a burning building, especially if it's about to explode" you said before you let out a cough.

"Look at me" he said as he turned your head so you were looking at him "Are you feeling dizzy? Is your vision blurry? Is there any place on your body that hurts?" he asked.

Five was scared that you were hurt, he would never be able to forgive himself if something happens to you because of him.

"I'm fine Five" you said but he kept checking you, to make sure that there wasn't any blood or even the smallest cut.

"Do you need to take some of my stamina" he moved his arm towards you "No, I'm fine" you looked at him to meet his worried eyes "I'm fine, really" you said.     

The two of you then let out a grunt as you turned your heads towards the building to see it in flames while you could hear sirens approaching.

"Five, the list--" "It's gone" Five sighed.

"We lost lost everything that was evidence to our suspect" he said before he kick a rock harshly.

"Come, we need to go, we can't stay here" Five said before he turned his head back to you "Can you stand? Can you walk?" he asked worried "I'm fine, let's just get out of here" you said before he helped you up and you both left before the cops showed up.

You and Five arrived at a public library to think about what to do now. You have chosen this library 'cause that was the only one still standing in the apocalypse and it was also the place that you lived in of the apocalypse most of the time. It became your home.

Five had a bottle of whiskey with him as the two of you walked up to a higher floor of the library before you sat down in a corner while you both started doing some research.

You then started writing some equations on the wall with a black marker while you both took a sip of the bottle every minute or so.

Since you were in your teen bodies, the two of you got drunk fast and after a while the bottle was almost empty and you both were so drunk that you couldn't continue to write equations.

Five turned his head to look at you "Why are you looking at me like that?" you asked "'Cause you are so beautiful" he said making you blush as your eyes met.

Five brought his finger up and rubbed your jaw line then draw circles on your cheek "You are also beautiful, I love those warm soft green eyes, I love your dark brown hair that sometimes look black and I love your smile" you said "That smile is only there when I'm with you" he said and you smiled.

How long will I love you?
As long as stars are above you
And longer if I can

You stared at each other before you leaned your back towards him, laying your back on his lap.

You look down at each other as he stroke a piece of your Y/h/c hair away from your face. Now that you were in your younger body your hair was not gray anymore. 

Five love you so much, he would die before he let anything happen to you.

How long will I need you?
As long as the seasons need to
Follow their plan

"I love you so much Y/n Hargreeves" I said "I love you so much too Five Hargreeves" you said as he storke his left hand down your right cheek.

How long will I be with you?
As long as the sea is bound to
Wash upon the sand

"I'm madly in love with you Y/n Hargreeves" he said "And I'm madly in love with you Five Hargreeves" you said and he smiled as he just stared into those beautiful Y/ne/c eyes, that he have loved since day one.

How long will I want you?
As long as you want me too
And longer by far

"I'm so glad I have you. I don't want I would do if I ever lost you" ne said "You are not gonna lose me. I will be with you always and forever" you said.

How long will I hold you?
As long as your father told you
As long as you are

"As long as you are alive, I will never stop fighting or lose hope or give up. I will keep going as long as you are here with me. For you are my home" he said "And I will never stop fighting or lose hope for as long as you live, because you are my home, too" you said.

How long will I give to you?
As long as I live through you
However long you say

"It's you and me, forever and always" he said "You and me, forever and always" you repeated and you smiled to each other.

How long will I love you?
As long as stars are above you
And longer if I may

You and Five stayed silent before Five started slowly leaning towards you.

How long will I want you?
As long as you want me to
And longer by far

Once your lips connected, you found yourself wrapping your hands around his neck as he wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you closer.

How long will I hold you?
As long as your father told you
As long as you can

You could both taste the bitter tase of the alcohol on your tongues as your kiss became deeper and your tongues fought for dominance.

How long will I give to you?
As long as I live through you
However long you say

Five slowly lowered his hand enough so he was able to slip it under your shirt.

But then you pulled away "Five, as much as I want this, we are so drunk, not here, not now" you said as you rested your foreheads against each other.

"How the hell did I get myself into this mess?" you mumbled "You grab my hand when I wanted to time travel" Five slurred "Which a part of me regret right now" you joked and Five leaned closer to kiss you again but you stopped him "Nope, not now, and not here" you said

How long will I want you?
As long as you want me to
And longer by far

"Okay" he said, but it was more like he sounded disappointed and you smiled before you leaned your back towards him, laying your back on his lap.

How long will I hold you?
As long as your father told you
As long as you can

The two of you look down at each other as Five stroke a piece of your hair away from your face.

How long will I give to you?
As long as I live through you
However long you say

"I love you so much Y/n Hargreeves" he said "I love you so much too Five Hargreeves" you said as he storke his left hand down your right cheek.

How long will I love you?
As long as stars are above you
And longer if I may

"I don't know what I will do, if I ever lost you" he said "You are not gonna lose me. I will always be with you" you said.

How long will I love you?
As long as stars are above you

"You are so beautiful, I still have no idea how a person like you could fall for someone like me" he said "That's because I saw all of you" you said "Yeah, you did" he said with a smile "I love you so damn much" he said "I love you too Five" you said.

"Where are their parents?" a librarian asked "I'm gonna call security" another librarian said making it easier for Diego and Luther to find you and Five since they have being looking for for the two of you.

Five was leaning against a wall while you had your upper body laying on his lap.

Five was holding your hand while he was holding an empty alcohol bottle with the other.

"Are they...?" Luther asked "Drunk as a skunk" Diego said while Five continued snoring until the bottle fell out of his grasp making a small noise.

"You take Five, I will take Y/n" Diego said and grabbed you before he slowly and gently lifted you up in his arms while Luther grabbed Five.

Luther was carrying Five while Diego was carrying you as the two was walking down an alleyway.

You slowly started opened up your eyes, your head was still fussy.

"You are awake" Diego smiled "Hey Batman" you said and he smiled "You know I have actually missed you" he said "Missed you too" you said a little drunk.

If you didn't knew Diego, you could see him as an asshole, 'cause he can be one. But deep inside he still caring and sweet. He's a mama's body after all while Luther is a daddy's boy.

Luther is also sweet and caring but deep inside, he can be an asshole, just like Diego, but in an opposite way.

"Where are we going?" you asked "We can't go back to house. It's not secure. Those psychopaths could come back at any moment" Luther said "My place is closer. No one will look for you there" Diego said.  

Then Five let out a belch before he let out a sigh "If you vomit on me..." Luther said "Where is Y/n? Where is my wife?" Five asked as he began looking around "She is here, Five. Don't worry" Diego said "I'm here, honey. Easy" you said, a little tired "Good" Five said before he began moving in Luther's arms.

"You know what's funny? Aah! I'm going through puberty" Five said and let out a scoffs "Huh. Twice" he said "So am I and is not funny" you said "And I...we drank that whole bottle, didn't we?" Five asked and you nodded your head "We drank it all" you said.

"That's what you do when the world you love goes bye-bye" Five said, putting out his hand "Poof, it's gone" he said and mimicking an explosion with his hand while you let out a small giggled.

"What are you guys talkin' about?" he asked and Luther let out a sigh "Two masked intruders attacked the Academy last night. They came looking for you two. So I need you both to focus" Diego said before he looked at Five "What do they want?" he asked.

"Hazel and Cha-Cha" Five said "Who?" Diego asked "You know, I hate code names" Luther said "Funny since you always bring up you're Number One" you said.

 "Ah, the best of the best. Except for me and Y/n, of course" Five said "The best of what?" Diego asked.

'Cause Five was so drunk, he ignored the question before he changed topic "I know how you hate when I drink honey, just don't leave me or punch me" he said "I would never leave you, you know that" you said. 

"I know you hate it when I drink, but today you drank with me and you know what? It makes me love you even more

Luther and Diego shared a look they were surprised to see Five caring and worrying about someone that wasn't himself.

"Do you love me?" Five asked you "Of course I do" you said "Would you always love me, no matter what happen" he said "Yeah, of course. I married you for a reason" you said.

"Hey!" Diego said as he stopped before he turned around to look at Five "Hm? Yeah?" Five said "I need you both to focus. What do this Hazel and Cha-Cha want?" Diego asked but Five didn't respond, he just grinned mischievously, smiling at him like a fool.

"We just wanna protect both of you" Diego said and Five let out a scoffed "Protect us. We don't need your protection Diego. Do you have any idea how many people we've killed?" Five asked "Too many to count" you replied.

"I'm Y/n's husband and so far I have always managed to protect her" Five's eyes flicked to yours before returning to Diego's.

"My wife and I are the fourth frickin' house man" Five said before moving around in Luther's grasp "The apocalypse is coming" he said and he turned around, putting his head behind Luther's back before he threw up causing Diego to roll his eyes.

"Okay, you are not kissing me with that mouth until you have brush your teeth. 20 times" you said "Come on, I was still kissing you when you were sick" he said.

The four of you arrived at a boxing training building before Diego lead them down to the boiler room where he lived and Luther place Five on the bed while Diego lay you down on the bed next to Five.

Five turned around and moved closer to you, wrapping an arm around you. "You smell nice" he said as he sniffed your hair "And you smell like alcohol" you said "So do you. But you're so beautiful" he said "Get some sleep, or I will knock you out with my fist" you said and he smiled "I love you too" he said and you smiled before you lifted your head and lay it on his chest while he put his arm around your shoulder as you snuggled into his embrace. 

He lay a kiss on your head and you smiled again before you drifted off to sleep. 

"Funny. If I didn't know he was such a prick, I'd say he looks almost adorable in his sleep" Diego said as him and Luther were looking at you and Five sleeping.

"Well, don't worry. They'll sober up eventually. Be back to their normal, unpleasant self" Luther said.

"Yeah, I can't wait that long" Diego said before turning around and walked towards the stairs "I need to find out what their connection is with these lunatics before someone else dies" he said.

"All that stuff they were saying before..." Luther said but then there was a thumping overhead sound causing Diego to snapped his head and looked around the room.

"What do you think they meant by that?" Luther asked but then Diego lifted up his finger telling him to shut up.

They then heard footsteps approaching outside the door causing Diego to pull out his knife. He then walked up the steps that lead to the door.

Diego put his hand on the door's handle before he slowly opened the door a bit while he got ready to throw his knife.

"You throw another one of those goddamn knives at me, I'm pressing charges" a voice said.

Diego put his arm down before he opened the door "What do you want, Al?" he asked and a old man walked in "I ain't your secretary" he said "Yeah" Diego mumbled under his breath before he walked down the stairs.

"Some lady called for you, said she needs your help" Al said "What lady?" Diego asked "I dunno. Some, uh, detective. I think she said her name was, uh, Blotch or something" Al said "Patch?" Diego asked and Al nodded "She needs my help" Diego said before going up the stairs "She needs you to meet her at that motel, a dump on Calhoun" Al said as he handed a piece of paper to Diego "When?" he asked "About half an hour ago. Uh, said she found your brother" Al said before leaving.

Both Luther and Diego looked over at Five "That doesn't make sense" Diego said before the two looked at each other ones they realized who it was "Klaus" they said.

"Go. I'll wait here with..." Luther said but didn't reach to finished as Diego was already out the door.

Luther then looked back at you and Five, that was fast sleep.
