"Hey Rey." Kylo says as he scoots into my booth.

"Hi!" I reply. It's the next Saturday afternoon after the football game and he and I decided to get coffee and hang out. I'm not sure why he agreed though, I called him and basically asked him out and I of course asked him in the most hi-i'm-new-in-town-and-desperate-to-make-friends way ever. Ugh why do I have to be such an idiot? Especially in front of a really cute guy that I kind of like! Woah! Where'd that come from? Anyway we order and then talk for awhile.

When the waitress comes with our drinks, Kylo grabs my wrist and pulls me out the door and to a small lake. "This is where my dad used to bring me when I was a kid." He says as we walk.

"That's cool, I never knew my parents, they died in a crash when I was four. And I've been in the foster system since I was five" I tell him. He's lucky to have parents, uncle Luke is just another foster parent in a long line of them, but he's been trying to adopt me for a year or so.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Sore subject, huh?" He asks.

"Yeah." I say.

"My parents where gone most of the time when I was a kid, my mom is the mayor, and my dad... Well, we were close when I was young but he was a truck driver and was gone when mom and I needed him most." He says.

"I'm sorry." I try to sympathize with him.

"It's not your fault, it's his." He says.

We walk for a bit and then he sits on a bench and motions for me to sit beside him. "So I was wondering if you need tutoring? I can tutor you." (This is the modern Reylo high school au version of I can show you the ways of the force😂😂😂) He tells me.

Ok  now I know this is a prank or something, he wants to tutor me? "Ok sure!" WHAT JUST CAME OUT OF MY MOUTH? I SAID YES? WHATS WRONG WITH ME! I just accepted tutoring from the captain of my schools rival basketball team! Poe's going to kill me! Actually, I kind of want to see where this goes. I think as we look at the lake. "We should get going Rey." He says after awhile

"Ok, bye Kylo." I say.

"Bye." He says and walks away.
