"You little brat, one moment you have been kidnapped and then now you are engaged." Martha sarcastically retorted, raising an eyebrow at me.

We are actually hanging out in a coffee shop and it's been almost a week since the engagement and my birthday but three days since we arrived. We actually stayed longer at the beach with Avery, Zephyr and his friends. It was so fun just to know them more. I got closer to Ariana too and she is one kind girl and we became best of friends immediately.

Now that I'm home, I want to hang out with Martha.

Since Zephyr and I are already engaged. One step higher than before, so we have been serious when it comes to responsibilities. Zephyr doesn't want Avery alone at home anymore at home even though it is the safest place ever. So we decided that I will quit my job at the club. So right now, I'm only working at the diner. Yet, the changes in my life doesn't stop there.

Ivan suddenly resigned as the manager of this diner. So they decided to make me to replace him because of my hard work. And somehow that is already a little relief. Then I'm fine even if I loose my job at the club. Zephyr wants me to be always with Avery especially at night.

"My life these past few months has been unexpected. It's like my life was in the bottom then when Zephyr came along, he started helping me to get out." I told her, smiling at the thought.

"You look so happy." She guessed, smiling.

"I am." I assured her. "Avery is happy and Zephyr is happy. He loves me and he proved that to me too much that I can't even handle it."

"He's the man you've been waiting for." Martha stated. "You deserve such a noble man unlike Vincent. He's an asshole."

"I know. What he did to me is worse than an asshole would do." I said, matter of factly.

"So, right now you are living with Zephyr?"

I nodded. "Yep, he practically forced me to live with him."

Then a smirk formed in her lips. "Oh really? So does that mean that you can get pregnant any moment now?"

"What?!" I gasped. "Where did that came from?"

Martha just laughed at my reaction. "Oh my God, that reactions says it all!" she exclaimed. "So, should I look forward for a nice niece or nephew?"

Now that she says it, Zephyr never used any protection when we made love. Or even...you know...pull out. Shit, I can't believe I am having this thought.

"Oh good Lord." Martha breathe, seeing the blood that flushed through my cheeks. "Eleina Valentin, you are always surprising." She continued to laugh.

"Well, nothing is wrong if I got pregnant, right?" I shrugged, raising my head. "Avery deserves to have a sister."

"Yeah, get that baby on the way because I want my new baby has its own playmate too like Avery and Lindsay."

My mouth agape. "You're pregnant?"

She grinned happily "Three weeks, baby."

I suddenly started squealing. "Oh my, I'm so happy for you!" I went to hug her. "This is amazing, that's why I kinda noticed that you look radiant then before."

"Shut up." She rolled her eyes.

"Oh you sexy black woman! I'm so happy for you. Our family is finally growing and becoming happier." I murmured, while grinning. "Justin must be so happy."

"He still doesn't know. I'm planning to surprise him when he gets home tonight."

"I bet he will jump over the moon." I laughed, then our laughter cuts when my phone starts to ring.

I picked up inside my pocket and saw Zephyr's name popped on the screen. "Hey." I answered.

"Hi, baby. I already picked up Avery at school and we went to buy some ice cream. Now we are on our way home? How about you?"

"Oh I am hanging out with Martha at a cafe. Pick us up then we drop her off to her place." I suggested.

"Sure, where are you two?"

"At the Brownleaf Café."

"Okay, we will be there in a minute." He announced before ending the call.

Martha refuses to go home with us because she has an appointment with her doctor for her pregnancy which is just a few walks from here. So I only waited for Zephyr to pick me up.

"Hey, handsome." I kissed his cheeks when we already came as I got in his car. "Hi, baby girl." I kissed my daughter as well.

"How was work?" Zephyr asked, driving off.

"Fine as always." I replied. "How was your ice cream?"

"I had a strawberry flavour ice cream, Momma." Avery answered but something is wrong with her. She looks a little down and not happy. Didn't she enjoy the ice cream?

"Glad that you two enjoy." I just said just to keep the aura in the car happy. "And you? I was po recall you, you only told me last night that you will be home by ten but it looks like it was already morning when you joined me on bed."  My eyebrows arched at the man who's driving.

Zephyr smiled, sheepishly then grabbed my hand to place a kiss there. "Baby, I really am sorry. Stephan and Ariana got into a fight so me and the boys couldn't leave her m but it turns out we all got drunk with him."

"No women?" I narrowed my eyes at him.

"No woman, Eleina. I swear to you. Go ask Lucas." He assured me, staring straight in my eyes.

Okay, I believe him. "No need. He is in your side for sure so I won't listen to another lie."

"Excuse me, Lucas will cut off my balls if he finds out that I hurt you." Zephyr whined, wincing a little. "That man's darkness is within."

Yep, Lucas and I got closer while we were at the beach. He was very nice and a gentleman. But I still don't know why is there something dark inside him that he won't show. It looks like he had a pain that only he knows.

"So, what did Ariana and Stephan fought about?" I wondered.

"Oh some time for themselves. It seems like Stephan is paying attention more on his kitchen at his wife waiting at home." Zephyr stated, laughing at the end. "Stephan can sometimes be a douchebag."

"Stephan seems to be a good man." I defended, shrugging.

"Oh easy for you to say because you only met him when he's already in his right mind. Just so you know, he was a total disaster when he still haven't met Ariana." He explained.

My eyebrows touched in confusion. "Why?"

"I will tell on the right time when there is no kid listening to us." He whispered to me.

Okay then. Well the past doesn't matter to me. What's more important is that he changed for the best. He changes so he could keep his girl.

We arrived at home, Avery run to her room immediately while I just dropped my body on the living room couch.

"You look tired." Zephyr mentioned, sitting down beside me while he takes off his jacket then he placed it down on the coffee table. "Want me to give you a massage?"

"Seriously? You are giving me a massage in an open room?"

Zephyr frowned at my statement then gently tapped my forehead with a genuine laugh. "I was asking about the literally meaning of it, silly. You are such a pervert, Eleina. I'm impressed of your achievements each passing day and night."

Oh crap. Blood suddenly rushed to my cheeks as I sinked down in embarrassment. Seriously, he is cute corrupting my mind because of his slyness.

"By the way, is something wrong with Avery? She looks gloomy?"

"Yeah, I noticed that too. That's why I invited her for an ice cream. She might get cheerful but she didn't. She just stayed silent." Zephyr wondered. "I'm getting worried."

He stood up and head upstairs, leaving me at the living room. Honestly, I'm starting to miss the club but he doesn't want me to come there anymore. Especially sing in front of them again.

Avery came down and she is now wearing a very comfortable white tank top and green cotton shorts while holding the new doll that Rune gave her. She loves that toy, I always see her hugging it when she's asleep.

"Hey, baby. Do you need something?" I asked her.

"No, Momma. I just want to ask you something." She asked, her big eyes staring at me like he is curious about something.

"Our lesson in school was about family. And the teacher mentioned that a father and a mother's relationship gets stronger when they had a child." Avery wondered, "My homeroom teacher also told me that I can only have one real Dad. And the real Dad should be by blood. Zephyr is not my real Dad does that mean that if you two had a real child...will he love me less?"

My eyebrows touched as my heart feels like it was stepped on hearing my daughter says this. I know one day that she will think about this situation but not this sooner. She is still a child and she doesn't have to fear anything.

I went down to her level and touched both of her shoulders. "Avery, listen to me carefully. Zephyr loves you more than anything. He won't love you any less because he treats you like his own daughter . And I will love you for as long as I live. You know that right? It was us against the world."

Avery starts to tear up and it breaks my heart into shattered pieces seeing her like this.

"And don't think like that, Little one." Zephyr was walking down the stairs. I bet he was listening. He got down on his knees so he could face her. "Look at me, baby. You are my daughter. Even if you are not my daughter by blood, the important thing is you were my daughter by heart. I never thought you of as another man's daughter because for me...you are mine. Mine only. No one can change that. Nothing can make me love you less because I am captivated and so drawn to you. You can feel that, right? I don't want you even thinking about that thought, okay? Promise me that you won't think that way again."

"Okay, Daddy. I promise andI'm sorry." She wiped her tears with her little hands.

"Think of me as your real Dad now, okay? And when you have a new sister or a brother, we will love them because we are a family. Do you want to have a sister or a brother?"

"Oh I want a sister." The smile on Avery appeared and it looks like she got Zephyr's point now. She is a smart kind. I know she gets it. "Can you give me a sister, Daddy?"

"Sure." Oh the mischievous smirk finally appeared in that face as he gave me a wink. "How many sisters do you want?"

"Maybe five sisters and five brothers!"

My eyes widen at her request. I don't think I can handle that too many babies who is going to be in my belly. I might die or I might got ugly!

"Look forward for it, little one." Zephyr gave her a thumbs up.

"Zephyr!" I grunted, I can't believe he is tolerating the kid!

"I love you, Daddy!"

"I love you too so much, little one. I love you more than anything in this world." Zephyr grabbed her for a hug and planted so many kisses around her face. "Now, what do you say and lets go buy some new doll?"

Avery was about to nod when I stopped them. "On not so fast, fella. You have bought her too many toys already yesterday. That is enough."

Zephyr and Avery pouts like a kid. "How about we go make some cookies?"

"Cookies!" Avery clapped her hands as Zephyr carried her to the kitchen. She is back to her cheerful self. She must have been thinking about about that that's why she was so quite. Something is bothering her mind.

"Wait for me, little one...okay? I will go pay someone a visit." Zephyr suddenly said, placing her down on the floor then he puts on his jacket like he is leaving.

"Where are you going?"

"I am going to kill that teacher who ruined my daughter's mind." He grunted, angrily.

Oh fuck, is he serious? "Wait, Zephyr!" I ran to catch him but it was too late. He already got in his car and drove off. Just bless that teacher's soul. I hope Zephyr won't literally kill him.

The next morning, I woke up feeling like there is something heavy lying on my stomach and my throat. Zephyr was sleeping beside me but then when I can't hold it anymore, I just ran to the bathroom and started throwing up, heavily.

Not too long when I felt someone rubbing my back and placed my hair on one of my shoulder as he continued to rub it.

When I was done, I felt so weak that I can't even stand. Zephyr helped me get up as he wiped my mouth with a damp towers before placing me back to the bed. "Are you alright now?"

"I think so." I panted. "I feel like I'm gonna be sick."

"Calm down, Eleina. Just lie down on the bed and I will call an ambulance." Zephyr sounded like he was in panic.

I grabbed his wrist and stopped him. "No, no need. I'm fine."

"Are you sure?"

I nodded. "Yep, maybe these are from the apples I ate last night before going to bed. I practically ate ten apples before I fall asleep."

I went asleep earlier than him because he went to the club and got home by midnight. "You should lessen the apples, Eleina. I hate seeing you in pain."

I chuckled at his reaction. His hair is so messy and I know he was shocked when he heard me throwing out in the bathroom.

"Are you sure you don't want me to take you to the hospital?" Zephyr assured, taking all of my hair on one side again as he leaned down to kiss me on my forehead.

"What time is it?" I asked, searching for the digital clock we had. Seven am. It's still early but I need to get ready for work.

"I will go ahead to prepare breakfast." Zephyr stood straight then left the room.

Biting my lower lip, I held my forehead and leaned on my knees. I feel so dizzy. Shit. This is worse than a hangover. Trying my balance myself to stand and walk out. I went to Avery's room to wake her up.

She was sleeping peacefully. To be honest, her question yesterday threw me off the hook. But I'm happy that Zephyr is there to explain it to her deeply. I know he will not fail and won't break her trust. And I know how much he loves Avery because if he didn't, then he should have not been serious with me in the first place. He accepted the both of us together.

"Hey, baby." I shake her, gently.

She groaned in her sleep as her angelic eyes slowly opens up. "Momma?"

"Good morning, baby." I kissed her forehead. "Time to get up now. Daddy is making breakfast downstairs."

"He is?" Her eyes widens in excitement then started to get out of bed. "I will go and help Daddy make breakfast!"

"Alright, come on down." I picked her up in my arms and carried her downstairs. I was just on the staircase, the scent of delicious French toast enveloped my nose. Zephyr had his back facing us while frying something on the pan. The apron hangs loosely around her waist and he looks so damn delicious as well.

"Daddy!" Avery wiggled in my arms as I placed her down but she runs quickly to him.

"Want to help me, little one?" Zephyr asked.

"Yep! Can I crack the eggs or beat them?" She offered.

"Sure. Go get three eggs in the fridge." He told her which she quickly obliged. Oh, my breakfast is something that I always look forward because of the happiness that I'm seeing in my two babies' smiles on their faces. They are so cute to watch.

Hours passed, I am already at the diner, inside my office. I'm still not used being the manager of this place because it's my first time to rule something. The others are fine of me being the manager especially Brian and Jeng. They are the happiest people when I was decided to be the next.

I still feel dizzy for some unknown reasons. Maybe because this office is small and very claustrophobic. I went to the real diner area to join Brian and the others.

"Wow, you look pale." Brian glanced at my face. "Are you alright?"

I shrugged. "I feel like I'm gonna throw up."

"Why? Pregnant?"

That word again! "I'm not pregnant!" Jeez, they kept on asking if I'm pregnant but...wait...what if I am? Brian has a point now that he mention it.

Biting my lower lip, I feel like my knees weakens. What if I really am pregnant? We are getting married but I don't want to look like a volleyball on my wedding day! Oh crap.

But there is something in me that is very fluttering. But I have to make sure of it before I go crazy of thinking on what should I do. After my shift, I went to the pharmacy to buy a pregnancy test before heading home. Zephyr went out with Lucas for some business thing and he said that he will pick up Avery from school so I am home alone.

And that was the time that I did the test. But somewhere in my heart, I wish that I am pregnant. I'm sure Avery will be happy and so that she will forget about her fear. She deserves the best of the best anyway.

When it was finally time to check if I am pregnant, I went to see it.

Two red lines.

My mouth gape wide open as my vision starts to blur.

There is a baby inside me.

I'm pregnant.

Oh what will Zephyr react if he finds out?

Evening came, we are all eating together. I cooked some sweet and sour chicken fillet and marshed some potatoes for dinner. Zephyr doesn't have a clue yet if I'm pregnant because I plan to tell him tonight. He is not going to the club so we have all night long.

"Momma?"

My thoughts broke hearing my daughter's voice. "Yes, baby?"

"Why are you grinning like a witch?" Avery asked, staring at me weirdly.

Zephyr chuckled and wiped the sauce at the corner of Avery's lips. "You're Momma is just happy."

"Because of what?" She asked, unaware of what is happening to me.

I wrinkled my nose. "Just eat your meal, baby."

I exchanged glances with Zephyr but I looked down on my meal and bit down the smile forming in my lips. I have to hold it for a while.

When Zephyr and I are about to sleep. It was just the both of us in our room and he just got out of the shower. He got out of the bathroom naked as my eyes ranked to his whole bare figure. This man has no shame sometimes. He will match out of the restroom without any towel. And my, how I love to stare at his ass. I think I'm the perv here.

"You love staring at me naked." He stated, facing me this time. And yes, still without any clothing in his body. I think he doesn't have any plan to wear some tonight.

"And you love seeing me naked, too." I replied back.

"Oh yes, I do, baby." He winked at me before joining me on bed, wrapping her arms around me from behind as his feet dangles off the sheets. He nuzzles his nose on my arm up to my neck and started kissing me there. "My fiancée smells so good." Now, he is biting my earlobe.

"Zephyr, I have something important to tell you." I told him, as I felt shivers down my spine.

"That can wait." He pushed me down on the bed and got on top of me like a tiger on hunt. His kisses travels through every part of me as it lingers longer on my lips. "I have the most beautiful fiancée in the world. I can't wait to be married to you and have kids with you."

"Oh yeah?" I smirked, cupping his face between my hands and looked at him in the eye. "Zephyr, I'm pregnant."

"W-what?" The look of his face was so funny.

"I'm pregnant, Zephyr. You're going to be a Daddy again." I flashed the news at him and hugged her closer. "Lets make our family bigger, okay?"

"Oh, fuck yeah!" Zephyr beamed, he grinned widely and hugged me so tight. "Thank God! I am so happy! Thank you, thank you so much!" He lifted me off the bed and carried me around in excitement. "I love you so much, Eleina! I love you and Avery. And I love our new baby. I will take care of you both. Oh God, thank you for giving me such a beautiful life."

"I should be the one thanking you, Zephyr. For accepting me in your life. I love you. I promise to be a loving and supportive wife." I told her and attacking his lips with a kiss. He pushed me down carefully back on the bed and took off my clothes as I lay there naked.

"So beautiful." His eyes ranked all over my body. "All of you...are mine." His kisses went down. "I will show you how happy you made me, Eleina. So damn happy. Now I will make sure to rush the wedding because I want our baby to come out that we are already wed."

The night past by as we celebrate it with pleasure and passion. Zephyr won't even let me rest. He is just so ecstatic the whole night. The smile in our faces can't be washed away.

My birthday wish is finally coming true.

We are not starting a stable and big family.
