Zephyr's home 😍

Spaghetti was already served on the table, as well as pitchers of cranberry juices as well. And any sooner, his friends already arrived at our doorstep.

Stephan Draco was one of them along with his wife Ariana, Rune, a celebrity hunk that I usually see in movies, and one unfamiliar guy.

"Zephyr, long time no see." The unfamiliar guy gave him a manly hug.

"Andrew, I'm surprised you're still alive. How was the farm you're running?" Zephyr had a teasing tone in his voice but he only ended up receiving a glare from the guy.

"Eleina, how are you?" Rune came over to give me a friendly hug.

"I'm good. So happy to be able to get out of such experience. All thanks to you." I kindly smiled at him.

"Where's Avery?" He asked, looking around.

I called Avery who was watching from a distance. She seems to know Rune because she gave him a huge bear hug. "Hello, Uncle Rune."

"Hello, cutie." He playfully messed up with her hair then he took out something inside his jeans pocket. "I have something for you."

Avery's eyes sparkles when Rune gave him a branded chocolate bar. "Wow, thank you so much!"

Zephyr stood beside me and started introducing me to his friends who just came. "Please meet my beautiful girlfriend, everyone. Eleina, this is my college friend, Andrew, this is Lucas, and I know you already met Rune and Stephan then his beautiful wife, Ariana."

I shook hands with each one of them. Avery seems to be a little shy but she is comfortable in Rune's company though. They have been inseparable. Everyone seems to be nice and accommodating. Although Lucas is not that talkative type, he was very quiet and he barely opens his
mouth but I can see his closeness with everyone though.

"Hi Eleina, I heard from my husband that you have a daughter so I made you two some cake." Ariana approached me, holding a decorative box. "By the way, my name is Ariana." She offered a hand while I carried the box in arm.

"Oh, thank you so much." I smiled kindly as I take her hand. "You owned that cake shop down the street?"

"Yeah, but I own that with my friend." She replied.

"That's amazing." My mouth agape. "Avery loves your cakes."

Ariana laughed. "Really? I'm glad to know about that." Just that moment, Stephen came to join our conversation, placing an arm around her waist.

"Eleina...it's good to see you again. I heard about what happened to you." Stephan gave me a soft and gentle smile. "I'm glad you were able to get out quickly. Who knows what will happen if you stayed there a little longer."

"Yeah, you're right. Thanks to Rune and his men."

"I must say, Zephyr will lose his mind if they still haven't find you. He was literally worried sick." Ariana stated, laughing.

"I wish I could have seen that." I chuckled.

"What are you three talking about?" Zephyr butted in as he playfully punch Stephen on the side then gave Ariana a friendly hug and kiss on the cheek. "So, when are you two planning for a kid?"

The married couple grinned and chuckled. "We still have our hands full at the moment. But of course, we are praying for it." Ariana said as she looked at her husband, lovingly.

"Well you two are still newly weds so you don't have to rush for it." Zephyr replied.

"Not rushing? You have got to be kidding me because I just caught my big hunky cousin buying some newborn onesies this morning." Andrew voice echoed from the living room.

"Shut up, you idiot." Stephan slightly reddened hearing Andrew's teasing. "I still can't believe that I call that asshole as my cousin."

Lucas, Andrew and Rune who was carrying Avery came in the dining area to join us. "Hey, are the foods ready? I'm starving." Rune spoke.

"Yeah, I only cooked spaghetti and meatballs so I hope those are fine with you." I began as they all took their seats.

"Wow, you cooked very well, Eleina." Stephan remarks, while taking a bite of the meatballs.

"The best of all chefs got impressed." Rune cooed causing everyone to laugh.

Avery sat next to me and she is really enjoying the spaghetti with all those sauce on her mouth.

"Little one, be careful on eating. You don't want any sauce all over your dress." Zephyr wiped her mouth using a table napkin. "Here, eat like this." He slowly demonstrate to Avery how to eat it cleanly.

My eyes caught all the of their facial expression. They all look so shock to see how Zephyr reacted and cared towards Avery. Funny, they all register the same face. As if they like they have seen such an impossible thing.

"My dear, what did you make Zephyr eat?" Lucas somehow spoke like for the first time.

Zephyr gave them a confused look. "Huh?"

"I swear to you, Eleina...Zephyr never talks like a gentle puppy. He usually talks so coldly and harshly to us even when we are young." Andrew told me which just gave me a little something to know Zephyr more. Well, he does talks to me so coldly before.

Zephyr just seems to shrug them off and continued eating, without caring what everyone is saying about his sudden change of attitude.

"But come on, boys. We all know that Zephyr is soft when it comes to the ladies." Ariana teases causing Stephan to burst into laughters.

Andrew chuckled, wrinkling his nose. "Yeah, I remember I caught my ex girlfriend has his picture as a wallpaper." He mentioned with a wince.

"Shut up. You already know that I am not involve in that." Zephyr shot him a glare.

Jeez, I feel like I am knowing him more because of what his friends are spilling. The boys continued to tease and got in Zephyr's nerves as the dinner pass on.

"By the way, do you guys wants to know what he looks like when I found out where Vincent is keeping Eleina?" Rune murmured, with a mischievous smirk.

"Don't you dare, crawfish." Zephyr threatened.

"Actually I want to hear this." Lucas dropped his fork to look at Rune and listen to what he was saying.

"Yeah, me too." Stephan joined in.

Rune sticked his tongue out to Zephyr before continuing. "For the first time in my life, I've seen Zephyr cry."

"No way?! Zephyr cried?!" Stephan gasped, horrified.

"He cried and hugged me." Rune added.

How cute was that? I wish I could have seen how he cried because boys barely cries unless it means so much to them.

"You're becoming soft, man." Andrew teased.

"I remember how much you laughed at me when I told you that I fell in love. Look how it backfired at you." Stephan shot, placing a hand over Ariana's shoulder.

My eyes turned to Zephyr and noticed the red cheeks he has. Oh my, he is flushed with all these teasing.

"You want me to throw you all out of my house?" He narrowed his eyes at them. "You always love ruining my life."

"Aw, is our baby boy mocking?" Andrew burst out laughing. "Oh God, I can't take it anymore."

"So what?! What's funny? I was wrong before. I thought love was nonsense but now, I really had fallen head over heals with Eleina. And so is Avery. Got a problem with that?" Zephyr suddenly turns serious.

Leaving everyone dazzled and silent. Okay, no one expecting that sudden confession. Avery seems to enjoy the sense so she just started laughing.

I started laughing with my daughter too, enjoying the moment. Spending time with his friends is not bad. They might tease him and annoy him too much but that is a proof how strong their bond is. It's very ironic but I also found out they all live in this subdivision. We are all neighbours then. How cute.

The dinner continued with lots of teasing and spilling each other's secret. But when it ended, Ariana helped me out with my dishes. She's one fine woman indeed and very humble. From the looks of it, this woman is really loved by her husband so much. And she's very sweet and nice towards me and Avery and we all got along pretty well.

In the other hand, the boys hangs out at the backyard where the pool is to drink some beers and stuff while I hang out here in the living room with Ariana. When suddenly, Avery tucked my shirt.

"Momma, I'm sleepy." She snoozed, rubbing her eyes.

"Awe, how cute." Ariana cooed, placing hand on top of her head.

"Okay, lets go upstairs." I softly talks to her then pick her up. "I will just take her to bed until she falls asleep. Please, feel at home." I told Ariana and she kindly smiled at me and just nodded as I head upstairs to Avery's room.

Wow, Zephyr has a good taste on decorating a young girl's girl. This is nice just the way Avery dreams for a room.

She had her own place where she can play, her own tiny desk if she wants to draw or read and of course, a nice princess bed that looks very comfy.

I gently placed her down to the sheets, as she unwraps her arms from my neck and hugged the pillows besides her. "Good night, Momma." She yawned.

Sitting down on bed side and lowering my face to give her a soft kiss on the forehead. "Good night, baby"

"I love you."

A smile spread over my lips. I don't know but everytime Avery tells those sweet words, I can't help but like there is something dancing inside my chest and feel so happy. For 5 years, I took care of her only on my own without any help from my parents or the father. I worked so hard so that she won't feel that she's different with the others because she doesn't have a Dad. And now, Zephyr came. He didn't just made Avery happy but he made me so joyful and thankful that I have someone like him by my side.

I am much confident to face so many triumphs and challenges because I have him now. I'm not alone anymore.

"Momma, can you please sing for me?"

"Of course, what do you want me to sing?"

"The one you always sing when I got to sleep." She answered, cheekily.

"Okay then." I brought her blanket up to her chest as she snuggled deeper on her bed. Her eyes were drowsy but she is keeping them open so she could listen while I sing.

When I finished the song, Avery was already peacefully sleeping. She was holding my hand so I kissed it softly before standing up only to see a shadow at the open door. Zephyr stood there, leaning on the door frame and watching me.

"She's asleep." I told him, walking closer as we enclosed our hands together. "Where are the others?"

"They already went home." He replied, "Ariana and Stephan still has to go to Brazil tomorrow morning."

I stood in front of him, as we just stare at each other's eyes. He had this content smile in his face. "Why are you looking at me like that?" I questioned.

"I don't know. You tell me, you're also looking at me." He huskily replied back, biting his lower lip. Wait, I have a feeling that this guy is thinking about something.

"How long have you been standing here?"

"Maybe at the middle of the song. I always enjoyed watching you sing, Eleina." He smiled then he slowly closed Avery's door. The whole mansion was so quiet that you can hear our feet touching the tiled floor. When we got in his room, he immediately lifted me up his arms causing me to squeal lightly.

"Zephyr, what are you doing?" I laughed, noticing that we are not going to bed but instead, he turned to his bathroom. This man is so sly.

He didn't answer any of my questions. "We have a long day tomorrow since it's your birthday, baby. Let's refresh ourself first." Oh that sexy grin in face says it all. That this night is going to be a night of passion and love once again.

Waking up the next morning, I was alone on bed. I blinked rapidly to adjust my eyes from the rays of the sun coming out through the blinds. Where is Zephyr?

Looking around the room, I saw that there are small baggage bags inside.

I look at myself and I noticed that I am wearing Zephyr's shirt and it hang loose on my body that almost looks like a dress to me. I already have an underwear, Zephyr must have been the one who dressed me because Avery might come in all of a sudden.

I can see my reflection at the mirror walls on the side. I look different in a way that I don't know. But i didn't change anything in my face but I look so different from how I look before.

Suddenly, the door opened and I heard someone cheered in chorus.

"Happy Birthday, Momma!" Avery run in, crashing me into a hug on the bed.

Oh yeah, today is my birthday. I felt myself grin happily "Thank you so much, my love." I kissed the top of her head and hugged her closer.

The door opened once again and this time, revealing the most handsome guy I've ever seen holding a very cute cupcake with a candle on top. "Happy birthday, gorgeous." He greeted, giving me a wide smile and leaning down to kiss my lips.

"Wow, you don't have do that much trouble." I stated, too amazed at what is happening. I never had a birthday such as grateful as this. I barely even celebrate my birthday so this is a first.

I hold Avery close to me as she sat down on my low. "Blow it, Momma but make a wish first."

Okay then. "Let's blow it together, baby." We both leaned closer to the cupcake as I closed my eyes and say the wish to myself. Hoping it will comes true.

"I wish for a happy and safe family with Zephyr and Avery." Then with that, we both blow the candle as Zephyr clapped his hands at the scene.

Then Avery jumped off my lap, childishly. "Come on, Momma! I prepared you a some breakfast downstairs. Come on! Hurry up!" She excitedly proclaimed as she rushed downstairs.

"Oka, what have you been up to?" I asked Zephyr.

"Oh just some couple of surprises." He gave me a mischievous smirk before giving me one more swift kiss on my lips. "Come on, Avery woke me up just to prepare those."

"You mean she came here?" I asked, as I eyed my whole body. I know he knows what I mean.

Zephyr pets my hair, like it tells me that I don't have anything to worry about. "Don't worry, I put you in my clothes when you fell asleep after our love making here in my bed." He whispered at me ear huskily and biting the earlobe causing me to feel some shivers.

This man is such a pervert sometimes. After we bath together at the tub, we showered together quickly then spend the rest of our energy on bed.

My cheeks got hot as I remember the events last night, I pushed him down on the bed as I get up and leave the room ahead of him while holding the cupcake. I'm not going to wait for him as I quickly went downstairs and I saw Avery waiting at the dining table with lots of foods served. I see sunny side up eggs, fresh milk, waffles, bacons, toasted breads and lettuce on one bowl.

"Honey, did you make all of these?" I asked her.

"I had some help with Zephyr, of course." She proudly stated. "Sit, Momma!" Avery tapped the vacant chair beside her and I obliged immediately. Not too long, Zephyr joined us and sat down as well

"Alright then, let's dig in." I clasp my hands together and ate each of the foods served in front of me. All the hard works of the two special people in my life. I watch them eat and I just felt so contented already. What should I ask for? Zephyr and Avery is already enough to make me happy they are actually more than my happiness.

After our breakfast, "I will clean the dishes now." I stood up but Zephyr stopped me.

"No, I will handle this." Zephyr offered, taking the dishes to the counter.

"Zephyr, I can do this. Besides, you already prepared this with Avery and I thank you for that. You don't know how happy I am right now." I told him, standing in front of him as I say those words. I thought he is going to give in but I didn't expect what he revealed.

"You think that was our surprise?" Zephyr raised eyebrow. "Oh baby, we barely even started it, baby."

"What?" My face was a huge question mark.

He just gave me a mysterious smile then wrinkled his nose. "Go upstairs and get ready, Eleina. We are going somewhere."

Okay, this is something that I am not expecting even a little. I thought this day is just going to be normal and simple but I thought wrong. I guess, I underestimate Zephyr.

"Why are you still standing there? Move that sexy ass, woman!" He playfully slapped my butt that makes me blush in madness and I just ran to our room.

He's such a pervert! And I can't believe that it is turning me on!
