A/N: alright I am a little shit! Lmao I saw this old comic of another couple and I just had to make this XD also I'm sorry I haven't update this in so long. I have so many stories it's hard to keep up with all of them. Plus I'm always having to hide from everyone, but that's not the point. Here is another Sonadow chapter and their might either be a fight or something romantic and awkward. Not sure. I just start writing and go with the flow lol anyways, enjoy.

The past few days had kept the blue hedgehog feeling well rest. He wish to leave the hospital, especially how he wasn't comfortable with them, and just run like he use to. But even though he wanted to admit to himself that he was fine, it was obvious he wasn't.
As he remain asleep with the morning rising, he seemed to have remember one Christmas he shared with Shadow and all of his friends. It was actually last year.
They settling his house for the party on Christmas Eve, and the most who helped him was Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and Shadow. Tails and Amy were in charge of getting some cooking supplies to make cookies and a special Christmas tree cake, and as for Knuckles and Shadow, they were in helping of setting up some decorations with Sonic.
As they all know, Sonic seemed to have loved playing a game towards his friends when this time of year came around. Ever heard of a mistletoe? Well since tradition says you have to kiss who is ever underneath it with you, but Sonic was never caught underneath it. Amy had tried millions of times to make him stand under it, but he always manage to make Knuckles accidentally go under it with her. This kinda grew irritation to the friends of his, but it was his way of having fun; and Rouge had to agree with him whenever she was under it.
Tails knew it was another way for his best friend to increase his speed. It was almost like as if Eggman's bombs were trying to hit him, but he would always go past them, that's why the mistletoe was a good example for the hedgehog.
Never once had Sonic been under it with anyone, until last year...
He had tricked Shadow many times to go under it with the people he normally didn't spend time with. He one time got him to go under there with Silver, and the poor white hedgehog had a bad reputation for a month. The year before last year, he got him to go under it with Cream, but since she was very young, he was allow to give her a kiss on the cheek.
He always used the mistletoe for protection of Shadow's anger, which only annoyed the black hedgehog, especially when it was with friends around. Shadow tried to dare himself to trick the happy hedgehog to go under it, but it was a bit impossible. But he finally got his revenge when he got under it with him.
But it was also embarrassing for him...
The black hedgehog was grabbing the cookies Amy made out of the oven, when he accidentally burnt himself. The sound of Sonic's laughter in his head only grew him to be annoyed with him. He growled at his red burning hand, and raised it high in the air, ready to make a hole in wall.
"Whoa Shadow." Said the voice of Sonic as he entered into the kitchen and found him ready to throw his tension. "You gotta have mercy on the wall. It didn't do anything to you."
Shadow gave the blue hedgehog a angry glance, but then was it replace with a smirk as he saw what was above him. There was one of Sonic's little fun objects above him, and he didn't even notice.
He stood up and started to walk towards the blue one, giving him a fear striking his heart. "Whoa whoa whoa! I was only kidding Shadow! Stay back!" He warned him, about to run away.
"Relax you idiot." Shadow finally spoke calmly. "I am not gonna hurt you."
Sonic notice the look upon Shadow's face. He wasn't too sure if he was only joking or serious. "Why should I believe you?" He asked growing a smirk of his own.
"Because if I really wanted to hurt you, I would have ran." Shadow reminded him.
That was a good point to Shadow. Knowing all his years with Shadow, he would only attack if he was angry. Now it seemed he wasn't. So then Sonic took a step to the left to be closer to a cabinet, and grabbed the medium size ladder that hid behind his fridge. "Well if you aren't gonna hurt me," he said. "you still wouldn't mind giving me a hand with these lights?"
Shadow look a bit puzzled and very little annoyed with him. "You told me to help with the cookies remember?"
"Yeah, but I'm not tall enough to reach that wall up there," said the blue hedgehog as he tried to reach the wall he was facing as he stood on the ladder. "and Knuckles is out with Tails, so I have no other help."
This obviously was never going to put down for Shadow, so he groaned walking to him and said, "Get off the ladder then and climb on my shoulders when I say so."
Sonic grin at him, glad to see he agreed to be a big help. So then he climbed off the ladder allowing Shadow to take his place from before. When the black hedgehog gave a nod, Sonic tried his best not to hurt him by getting on him. He had to climb on his back and crawl with all his strength pushing himself, and placed his legs to wrap around Shadow's neck.
He almost lost balance, but luckily Shadow manage to keep the ladder still, and hold Sonic's legs very tightly. Sonic began to feel a bit more safe when Shadow held him. He looked down to see those red eyes, smile as a thanks, and then grabs a nail and hammer to start.
This went on for about 5 minutes. Sonic got at least three nails in as it was holding the Christmas lights. He had one more nail to place, and then they could continue to the rest. He looked down at the other hedgehog before e began, and saw he was very annoyed. He chuckled and began to hammer it once again. "You know Shadow," he said while slamming the hammer into the nail. "I should start writing down my records for this year."
"Of what?" Shadow ask, not feeling the care in his voice.
"Well duh! Of the fact I have never been under the mistletoe once, and how it's amazing I never did while I tricked others into being under it."
Shadow felt himself grow of irritation and only growled as the blue hedgehog kept bragging about his amazing skills. This was the sight of revenge for what he did to him and Silver.
'Just you wait faker,' he thought as Sonic continue to brag. 'I'll get you one day, even if it kills me.'
".. and it's even better because Christmas is in about another day. I know what my New Year's revolution is gonna be."
"Do I want to know?" He asked, hoping he was done.
"Yep. I'll be making list for more of you guys to trick. Maybe I'll make you go with Silver again. Maybe Blaze instead."
Shadow only growled at the other teased more and more about his little game. He was never gonna let him live it down about this mistletoe nonsense. He had to learn soon.
Suddenly, Shadow felt the ladder move a bit. He looked down at it and realized it was breaking a leg. Obviously their weight wasn't enough for the chair to take. So then Shadow looked up and said, "Hey, hurry with the hammering. This ladder is gonna collapsed on us."
Sonic tried to reach a little more forward where he wanted the nail to be and said with a grunt, "I'm going as fast as I can."
Shadow chuckled and said, "I thought you were the fastest things alive faker."
"I am... on my feet."
He only laughed at his ridiculous comeback. He could feel the ladder get more and more weaker of holding them. He knew it was gonna break on them eventually. Especially how Sonic kept leaning forward making the weight worse.
He didn't really this, but he was finally getting a nail in the wall, and with one last hit, they could leave the ladder alone and try something else.
But it was too late.
Because of so much weight the two hedgehogs had together, the ladder broke one of its leg and caused them to fall forward. This was a nasty for them both. As dust was vanishing, the two hedgehogs open their eyes to see the Christmas lights wrapping theirselves around their arms and legs by mistake, and made eye contact as Shadow was above the cheerful blue one.
Sonic looked over Shadow to see how badly damage the ladder was, and wasn't please with it. "I guess we broke it huh?"
The blue one waiting for the other to respond, but nothing came out. Sonic looked back at Shadow to see he was looking something else above them. This must have really blocked Shadow out from the world when he was looking at something. Sonic lifted his head more to see what it was, and before he it, he was having a face of red madness.
"Oh no..."
Shadow couldn't believe it actually happened. Seemed they were both underneath Sonic's favorite object, the mistletoe. He always imagine the blue one to be tricked as well to be under one of these, but he never imagine himself being there with him. Even if this was one of the weirdest things Shadow has ever been through, he had to give his opponent payback for humiliating him a lot.
He looked back down at him to find him still red and full of fear within him. "Oh no no!" Sonic said. "You are not kissing me Shadow! That is just wrong!"
Shadow began to grow a smirk towards the blue hedgehog and said, "Says the one who tricked everyone to be under these things."
"Yeah, but not with me included!" He said trying to think of how to get up.
Sonic began to search around him to see if there was a way to escape. He did have one idea, but in time Shadow ruined it.
He immediately held a grip on the blue hedgehog's wrists and held them tightly for no movement to be made. "Hey!" Sonic shouted trying to free them.
Shadow chuckled and said, "No cheating faker. Looks like it's time for you to get a taste of your own medicine."
Sonic tried to move around and was struggling to be free, but then Shadow's left hand gently pet his chin, and leaned him closer to give him the taste of his own lips against his.
Sonic tried to fight and pulled back, but Shadow was a bit stronger, and there was no escape from it. Eventually Sonic stopped his struggling of Shadow's tight grip, and finally gave in..... actually liking the kiss.
The gentle feeling from Shadow's lips were very soft, and less hurtful like his punches he use to give. Sonic could feel his heart beat go very fast and his body felt like goo melting. He could barley feel anything in his body. Before he knew it, he found his own arms wrapped around Shadow's neck, pulling him much more closer. What made him surprise, was Shadow didn't seem to mind.
A sight sound of moaning came from the blue hedgehog as he began to kiss back...
"Guess who's here with presents?!"
Immediately in shock, the two hedgehogs open their eyes very wide, and then the blue one pushed Shadow off so he could breathe a bit. But before either one could move, they saw Amy enter the room with her bags in her hands. "I got some for..." She stopped talking when she saw them on the floor together and only watched in confusion. But then she looked up seeing the mistletoe above them, and then looked back down to them.
"Uh... We can explain Amy!" Sonic said very red just like the other hedgehog.
But then Amy held her hand stopping them from talking any further. "No need to. I know what's happening."
They both felt a bit embarrassed by what de was witnessing.
But then suddenly, she grew back her smile and said, "You two were just fighting like you always do. You know it is Christmas Eve right? We gotta get more in the spirit instead of being bruised."
They were very confuse by what she meant, but immediately, he pushed Shadow off him and stood up with a smile. "Yep! We gotta stop fighting. Be happy man." He nudge Shadow as he remain on the floor.
By then, Cream walked into the kitchen and asked Amu where to put her small bags she and Cheese carried. As the two girls were settling in, Sonic immediately left the kitchen without saying another word. He was standing in front of the tree his friends helped him put up, and felt strange.
But the moment he remembered that feeling, it came back, and all it did was make him smile and come back to the hospital again.

A/N: just a quick note before I forget. This was before the incident of Sonic getting hurt. Kinda like a little memory of when he started to you know what ;) just wanted to let you know before I confuse anyone, also i don't know when I'll get to update again but hopefully soon I will. I'm sorry I've took so long to do one. Anyway, have a goodnight!
