Alright, so I was reading England X Reader fanfics today and one of the authors kept writing "lay" as "lied" for one of the fanfics.
It was an AWESOME fanfic, I'm not gonna lie, (It literally made my chest tighten while reading ok) but the only thing about it was those few spelling errors.
That made me want to write THIS rant because I remembered that there are some incredibly HORRIBLE beings of this very Earth that absolutely INSULT the wonder and absolutely magical language English and write "your" as "you're". (Urgh how do dey write liddat.)

Examples:
"You're not happy, right?"
Changes to:
"Your not happy, right?!"
-OR-
"Your dog is cute!"
Changes to:
"You're dog is cute!"
(Yeah, cos "You are a dog is cute" is a proper sentence. 😒)

Overall, spelling and grammar mistakes ABSOLUTELY RUIN fanfics and stories of ANY. TYPE. I MEAN SERIOUSLY PERCY AND ANNABETH SHOULD KNOW HOW TO TALK PROPERLY RIGHT?! ESPECIALLY ANNABETH!
