There are a few different versions of this story. And each one has a different name for the girl. Whatever the version, they are mostly the same story.

     A young man is driving home from work when he sees a young woman walking down the side of the road. Being a kind person, the man offers the woman a ride and she accepts. It's cold that night so he offers her his jacket.
     As he drives her home, the two get to know one another, including introducing each other. He drops her off at her home and heads home. On the way home, he realizes that he left his jacket with her but since it is late, he plans to simply return to her home the next day.
     When he returns to her home the next day, an older couple answers the door, obviously the girl's parents. The young man explains about meeting their daughter and taking her home and that she still has his jacket.
     The couple then tearfully tells him that their daughter passed away years ago, due to an accident.
     In one version, the man goes to the cemetery where the parents claim she is buried and finds a gravestone with her name printed on it and his jacket neatly folded on top of it.
     Strange?
