4 travelers planned to spend the night in a roadside inn, but they arrived too late. The inn was full, and there was nowhere else to stay.
The innkeeper looked them over and noticed they must not be from that region so no one would miss them.
He suggested that they might have one more room after all, but they would have to share it with a corpse. They agreed.

The men laid down and all fell asleep except one. He was uneasy about sharing a room with a corpse. He lay awake for hours. Midnight arrived and he heard a weird noise.
He was appalled to see the corpse rising from her coffin. He pretended to sleep but watched as she lit a stick of incense. She crept to each sleeping man and held the incense under each one's nose until they all died. When she got to him, he held his breath.
The corpse thought she'd killed the travelers as she began robbing them. He ran until he could not run anymore, the corpse chasing him.
The weird part about this story is that when the traveler hid behind a tree and the corpse tried to grab him, the tree swallowed her whole.
