Hmm....is it just me or does everything happen to babysitters?

     A young teenager is babysitting a couple of kids. After a while, the kids go to bed and the babysitter is bored so watches TV.
     After awhile, the phone rings and the babysitter answers it to hear someone say, "Have you checked the children?"
     The babysitter thinks it's a joke and hangs up and stranger calls again, "Have you checked the children?" This happens several times and the babysitter gets scared so she finally calls the police.
      The police tell her that next time he calls, they will track where the call is coming from.
      After she gets off the phone with the police, the stranger calls and says, "Why haven't you checked the children?"
      The police call back and tell the babysitter that the call is coming from somewhere in the house.
      There are two versions of how this story ends. In one, she goes upstairs to check on the children where she is killed. In the other, she waits for the police to show up.
      Either way, the outcome is the same. The killer murders the children and waits upstairs to murder the babysitter as well.
