Ever wondered why there is a stop button in elevators? Well this story is the reason why....
     A young woman lived on the 13th floor of an apartment. Everyday she took the elevator up to her floor.
     One day, she was heading home and got in the elevator. At the last minute, a man joined her in the elevator. The two started talking.
     The man casually mentioned living on the 12th floor and the woman said she lived on the 13th. The elevator came to a stop on the 12th floor.
     The man stepped out the elevator, turned around, and said, "I'm gonna climb up to the next floor and kill you."
     The doors closed. The woman was terrified because she could not stop the elevator.
     Finally, the elevator stopped on the 13th floor. The doors opened to reveal the man standing there. He immediately killed the woman. Now you know why there's a stop button.....
