There was once a girl who wanted to get her ears pierced but her parents were very overprotective and wouldn't let her. She grew more and more desperate, telling them how all the other girls at school had their ears pierced.
     Finally, her parents relented and gave her some money to get her ears pierced at the nearby mall. Instead, the girl opted to get them done herself and keep the money.
     She went to a friend's house and her friend stuck a needle in each ear. It hurt like hell but she was so happy to finally be able to wear earrings.
    The next day, her ears still hurt and looked red. While she was looking in the mirror, she noticed a weird white piece of string attached to her ear. She began to pull it but it stretched on and on and she wondered how long it could possibly be. Finally, she grabbed a pair of scissors and cut it off.
     She ended up passing out.
     When she woke up, she was in the hospital. The doctor told her, "I have some bad news. That string you cut was your optic nerve. You will be blind for the rest of your life."
     With this in mind, FOR GOD'S SAKE DON'T PIERCE YOUR EARS!!
