Jamie was a plain, unpopular girl. No one noticed her at school and she only had one friend- Nicole. The two were closer than sisters. They also worked together at a little snack bar on the beach. They had to work for everything they had.
     They were both constantly picked on by the popular kids because of how nerdy they were. Jamie had a crush on a boy who always seemed to be involved with one of the popular girls. She wanted to show him she was much better than that girl.
     Well, one day, Jamie and Nicole were walking home from work when Jamie noticed a weird little store she had never seen before on the street corner. The sign said, "The Raven's Chest".
      Jamie was curious so the two girls walked into the store. The place looked a lot like an antique shop, full of old things. At one end of the store was a beautiful red dress. Jamie immediately fell in love with it.
     All of a sudden, there was a tapping noise from the other side of the door. Tap, tap, tap! A woman appeared from behind a curtain. At one glance, the girls could tell the woman was blind.
     Nicole was creeped out by the sight of the woman but Jamie wasn't. She immediately asked the price of the red dress. The woman told her, "$400."
     Jamie remarked she didn't have that kind of money to which the blind woman answered, "Everyone must pay."
     The two girls rushed out the store. The next day, the popular girls teased them again. That night, Jamie went back to the store and tried on the red dress. She only meant to see what it looked like on her but after she tried it on, she heard the tapping sound again. Tap, tap, tap!
     "Who's there?" Asked the blind woman. Jamie was so freaked out that she ran out the store, still wearing the red dress. The blind woman was shouting after her, "Everyone must pay!" Jamie didn't even look back and ran all the way home.
     The next day, Zac asked Jamie to go to the movies with him. She eagerly does. That night, she was walking home when she heard noises behind her. Tap, tap, tap! There was no one there but still she heard tap, tap, tap! She ran all the way home.
     The next day, she told Nicole about what happened. Nicole convinced Jamie to take the red dress back where it belonged. Jamie was standing at the store when Zac called her. He invited her to the Summer Dance to which she excitedly agreed. But she must wear a dress so she decided to keep the dress a little longer.
     She showed up at the Summer Dance, wearing the red dress and caught Zac's eye. They danced but she couldn't enjoy the moment because she kept seeing the blind woman everywhere. Frightened, she ran away. She raced to the Raven's Chest and screamed that she doesn't want the red dress anymore but it is far too late to atone for her sins. A hand grabbed her and pulled her inside.
     She woke up in her room the next morning but something was wrong. She couldn't see! Her phone rang and it was Nicole. She talked to Nicole, complaining of it being too dark in her room. She reached for her glasses but they were no longer there!
     She rushed to open the blinds, but the room was still dark. She turned around to reveal....that she was completely blind!
     Meanwhile, at the Raven's Chest, the formerly blind woman was no longer blind. As she put Jamie's missing glasses on display, she said, "Everyone must pay," an evil smile spread over her face.
