i think i got into anime around 2010?? yeah i was a wee little snake when i picked up that trashy hobby lol

it started when i found those weird anime meme videos on youtube, and i wanted to get into it. i already loved cartoons and this was... different. i was amazed.

i watched shugo chara, which was total garbage but i loved it anyway.

and then i downloaded cruncyroll, but back then it only had like MAYBE 50 series on there and it was all random obscure seasonal anime. literally i could scroll through the entire list with ease. but luckily there was only like 2 ads in the entire episode so haha

but it opened up a whole new world for me ok?? like, i could have never imagined a cartoon with action and drama and PEOPLE SWEARING??? also...putting cat ears on a cute boy and cute boys crossdressing. revolutionary, man.

and then i got into role playing and naturally every face claim was an anime character. i actually bonding with online people over this weird thing that no one else i knew liked and it was nice??? i felt included in this quirky little group and it was amazing

animes always been a thing that's really important to me and i love it, ok? a lot of ppl laugh at it and call it cringy but there would be no way i would be where i am rn without stuff like dn angel and no6 and fruits basket and fmab. it influenced all my creative projects and just gave me something to have fun with. it makes me happy
