since ive started posting on ao3, ive experienced a feeling i havent had in a while: a twinge of anxiety over writing

its nothing awful- not like "oh no my writing is awful and i hate this i cant do it" its just when i press the post button i feel like im naked in front of the entire mp100 fandom lol. a little childish nervousness

im not a grizzled veteran like i am on here, where im just like "here's my freaking garbage ENJOY IT FANS" and people eat from the palms of my hand lol (no  offense i love y'all)

fanfic is a little more difficult for me bc i stumble over small stuff like "OH NO WHAT IF IM WRONG ABT CANON" and the like. but it's still rly fun!

however, im just gonna say it: wattpad is awful for writing. really. it is. like, the only way you can hope to get reads is to already be fairly popular. even worse for fanfic. if it's not shipfic, sorry man.

however, ao3 is so much different and so refreshing, y'know? my first fic on the site got a pretty nice number of kudos (votes) and several comments. 100+ reads too, i think. my other ones are doing nice too. more than a chapter of nfh gets lol

its also so much easier to find the weird niche crap i wanna read. i thrist for some reigen and mob hurt comfort fic? boom, just search "reigen & mob" as the relationship, gen as the type, and "hurt/comfort" as the tag. very pleasing.
