"i find it hilarious how everyone probably knows that mack is the girl from chris's post, they're just waiting for chris to confirm it." matt laughs as chris turns on the camera. the group was in the car, getting settled after just getting their food.

"he basically did, though." nick responds. "i mean, he posted that shit this morning and then he announces that we're doing a video with her, so that probably confirms that she's here and is most likely the girl from the post." he catches chris's warning glance at him and looks at the camera. getting the message, nick nods. "i'll cut this out, don't worry."

"just let them think what they want. if they're real fans, they wouldn't pressure us into going public." mackenzie shrugs. "but, matt's right, everyone knows." she showed them chris's phone, which was open to the group account dm requests: they were ALL story replies guessing that mack was the girl. "if they already know, then what's the harm in waiting a couple weeks before actually confirming?"

"true." chris replies. "i might drop hints and stuff, though, just to mess with them. is that okay with you?" he asks mackenzie.

"of course! i'll join in." she goes back to the question responses, screen-shotting her favorite ones and sending them to her own phone. after screen-shotting questions for chris and deleting the ones that she sent herself, mackenzie gave chris's phone back.

"okay, let's start now." nick says, popping a handful of m&ms in his mouth.

"kid just ate a handful of full-sized m&ms." chris laughs, taking his own tube of the mini ones out from below. "mini m&ms are better." he states.

"i agree." mackenzie nods. "they're so addicting, too."

"i am 99% convinced they put some kind of drug in mini m&m's." matt says, putting his hand out in front of chris. "gimme some." he orders. chris pours a bunch into matt's hand.

"alright, hi everyone." chris says to the camera. "today we're going to answer questions that you guys asked relating to us and to our very special guest today," he moves out of the way a little bit so that mackenzie could be seen more, "mackenzie harper!" 

"before we get really into it, i have the first question that someone asked." matt pulls out his phone and opens up the question. "who is mackenzie and how is she friends with the triplets?" he reads.

"sensing a little jealousy there." nick observes. "someone's salty that we made a new friend."

"for real, bruh." chris shakes his head. "go ahead, mack."

"alright, so to answer your first question: i am mackenzie. some people know me as declan harper's sister but i usually tried to stay out of the eyes of social media, so when declan moved to la, i stayed in orlando, where i'm from. for the second question: i became friends with chris first, which is a really interesting story because i never would have expected to meet him and become so close with him."

"yeah," chris adds, "so basically, i was like going through my dm requests because i was bored out of my mind and i saw this one dm from a girl, who happened to be mackenzie, and it was like 'day 54 of texting you' or whatever and i scrolled a little and she's been doing it every day just telling me about her day and stuff. but what got me to respond was that she sent lyrics from a song from austin and ally and i thought it was great so i replied and we started talking more and boom, here we are."

"and then matt started talking to her best friend so now we got two connections to her." nick adds. he looks through his phone looking for questions. "alright, next: is mack the girl from chris's post?" he asks. chris turns to look at him, flipping him off for asking that question.

"the girl from my post is my girlfriend." chris says with a sigh, not confirming whether it was mack or not. "they all met her this morning." he pointed to everyone in the car, who all nodded collectively. 

"yup, she's super sweet." mackenzie responds. she takes chris' phone again and begins scrolling through questions. chris noticed her smile faltering a bit as she went through and he wondered what she was seeing that upset her so much. 

"you okay?" he asks her. mackenzie looks up and nods. 

"yeah, of course!" she smiles at him. "i found another question."

"how does it feel to be blessed with mackenzie's presense?"

"there's no question that says that." chris rolled his eyes, taking the phone away from her. his eyes lingered on the question that seemed to have affected mackenzie and he tried not to make his face noticeable. 

the group continued their video, but mackenzie knew chris had read the certain comment and saw the multiple other responses people made about her. as much as he tried to hide it, she could tell he was seething. 

when they stopped filming, chris and mackenzie stayed in the car to talk while nick and matt went back in the house. 

"are you okay?" chris asked her. mackenzie shrugged her shoulders. 

"i'm fine. i'm used to it."

"you shouldn't be." chris shook his head. "mack, that was cruel. no person should ever have a person say that they aren't deserving of anything. if anything, you're the one who's too good for me."

"don't say that, chris." mackenzie sighed. "you're perfect."

"and so are you." chris replied. "i don't have to know you your entire life to know that you're one of the most genuine people i've ever met. it's been two months and i've fallen for you, mack. that's not something that happens to just anyone."

"fallen for me, huh?" mackenzie looked up at him. chris's cheeks turn pink as he realized what he said. 

"um, i meant that..." he trailed off as mackenzie leaned forward and gave him a kiss on the cheek. 

"good night, chris." she said softly, a grin evident on her face. chris was happy that he managed to get her in a better mood than earlier. 

"night, mack."
