I knew she understood my rules when I said them, but she choose to disobey them. What am I to do? Obviously when someone breaks a rule, they have to be punished... So I said to her
"So, you will be punished"
To which she said "this is not fair." Like I was even considering being fair to her! Her "friend" jumped in to support her. " Please sir, leave her alone." He said.
"Aryaman right?... Thats a great idea. "
I pulled her and dragged her a small dusty store room and locked her there.
Her friend followed me to find out where she is, but I warned him that I will get him expelled if he tried to help Nandini.
From outside I said to the hellcat "there... All alone now. No food, no light... nothing... And before I forget, no mobile reception. Enjoy your stay in the store room Miss Nandini."
"Let me out... You monster... Please somebody help..." I heard her scream and bang the door as I left the place. It felt good hearing her scream for help when she had nothing. I know this experience will teach her not to mess with my contract and meetings again like she did by drugging me. However, I felt the need for greater satisfaction. I wanted her to suffer more. This was not enough for what she did. I lost a lot of money by not getting that deal that day because of her. For that, she has to loose something and I know the perfect thing to take away from her.
I went about the rest of the day as usual. Office and then home... Which felt eerily empty without her. Alia tried getting in touch with me, but I ignored her messages, calls and her house visit. I was not in the frame of mind to hear her sorries and explanations.
I woke up next morning and expected to see Nandini and her coffee mug waiting for me... But thankfully, I was spared coffee. I poured myself a glass of Domaine Leroie 1980 and had the breakfast Uma, my chef prepared for me. I noticed that Uma and Nandini were getting close. So, Uma noticed Nandini was missing today, but she knew better than asking me about her. I finished up and went to college. I decided to check on her and bring her to class, I was shocked not to find her in the store room. I searched around, but still didn't find her. I asked the guard on duty for the night if he saw Nandini and he said "No, but a black SUV came in at around 4 in the morning and left soon after."

Who could possibly know I locked her here? She couldn't have contacted anyone and I warned that Aryaman about talking. Just then, I heard a familiar voice... A female voice I hate maybe even more than I hate Nandini.
"Looking for someone" she said.
"Nyonika... What brings you back here?"
I asked her. She handed me Nandini and said "Careful with what you do to her in college. It affects our reputation. Do things in your room if you wish. Somehow the fact that you locked her up came to me and I decided to take her before the police or human rights people hear of it"
"Nyonika, so what do you need from me? Now that you have possibly 'saved' me?" I asked her.
"A meeting with Mr. Rahul, your investor. I would like to discuss a proposal with him."
"Fine" I said and held Nandini and dragged her to class.
"Who asked you to go to Nyonika?"
"She came, I didn't go to her!" The hellcat said.
"Talking back to me is not helping your case!"
"That wasn't a part of your stupid rules"  she reminded me.

That was it, I pushed her against the lockers and her head banged the metal locker doors. She shut her eyes and exclaimed in pain "Aahhh"
I shut her mouth to stop her from screaming and shouted into her face.
"Don't you dare disobey me or talk back. Get it?" She didn't respond. "Get it?" I asked pushing her more and holding her more tightly. She nodded a yes and I left her. She ran away with tears in her eyes. She didn't come to class like I expected and wanted. The next time I saw her that day was at home with her friend. They seemed to be discussing me which definitely made me happy. I announced myself to the room and her friend pounced on me with anger. "How dare you treat her like that?"
I pushed her away and spoke to Nandini "Ask this filth who brought us to this situation  to stay away from me. If she attacks me again like that, you will have to pay"
"Filth?" That Navya girl said.
But before she could continue attacking me with her words, my smart wife stopped her. "Navya stop. Do not utter another word against Manik."
"Listen to your friend"  I said and walked away but still heard a part of their conversation that followed by exit.
"My life is in his hands now Navya." Nandini said.

"Please don't tell me you love with that rogue who tortures you day and night?" Navya asked her.

"Of course not, I hate him but one word against him and I will be expelled." She said sadly.
Poor poor Nandini, regardless of whether you say a word or you don't, your fate has been already decided! You will be expelled by the end of the week anyway!
