The Moonstone

Hollyfrost padded quietly to her destination, the Moonstone.

Her soft footprints halted when she spotted the other Medicine Cats waiting for her.

They nodded at each other and trekked down the dusty tunnel that would lead them to Starclan.

Hollyfrost's soft breaths seemed to echo around her as her sense of sight began to fade.

The cats seemed solum as they allowed their whiskers to guide them down the weaving and spiraling passage way.

The fear of her dream still sat in her heart wriggling it's unsettling presence into every activity she faced.

Now the still darkness of Starclan's Cave welcomed the disturbing visions back into her mind to repeat themselves, over and over again.

I am fine I am well she desperately chanted in her mind, I am fine I am well.

No prevail, the darkness and forboding of her dreams lurked still.

She slowed down a bit almost causing Windfoot to bump into her, but he remained silent still and just clamly slowed down.

Hollyfrost felt the vision as if it were a fallen tree on top of her, weighing her down and causing so much distress to flare up in her mind that her pelt prickled and she felt hot and squirmy underneath her pelt.

This presence continued to weigh her down until her eyes caught the glimmering of the Moonstone.

Then the pressense vanished leaving her shoulders her and she nearly sighed aloud in relief.

Hollyfrost quickly picked up her pace and approached the Moonstone.

Without a second thought she began to reach her nose towards the stone noticing the other cats doing the same.

On contact she felt the cold hard surface heat up to a warm sparky feeling.

Then she closed her eyes and reopened them in a chillingly abandoned clearing.

Where is Starclan? She wondered nearly aloud, but something seemed wrong, this couldn't be Starclan, there was no one here.

Usually ground felt soft and springy beneath her feet, but now it felt mucky and she sunk into the muddy soil with each step.

Once again, the vision and it's terror sprung back into her mind, Hollyfrost tried to push it out of her mind, but she couldn't.

"Anyone here?" her trembling voice called out.

No response.

Now her terror was able to grow, the voices of her clanmates shrieked in fear, Help me, Hollyfrost, help!

She closed her eyes and stood still, once again chanting to herself, I am fine, I am well.

Heal me Hollyfrost, I'm hurt.

Hollyfrost tried to wake up, but found herself stuck in Starclan, to suffer the torture of being helpless.

Hollyfrost! Help me! the screams echoed through her mind.

"My clanmates are fine, this is not real." She whipered to herself, her legs feeling weak.

Hollyfrost save me, She tried to ignore the voice, Hollyfrost, please, help me, I'm dying.

Tears built up in her eyes and she tried to blink them away, but the voice wouldn't leave, save...me...Hollyfro...

Ravenpaw, he was the voice, Hollyfrost couldn't get over, What if he isn't okay? she wouldn't be able to forgive herself if he got hurt.

Hollyfrost was trembling now, the voices, the visions, the screeches and over top of it all she heard a laugh.

A cruel laugh, amused by the pain and devastation it had wrought, but this didn't make her sink into dread, instead it brought forth rage.

Her heart blazed in anger and her claws penetrated the muddy ground, they will pay.

Blinking awake Hollyfrost gazed at her companions faces, they all bore the same look of devastation, greif and most prominently, rage.
