two. Tight Ass Ponytail

"Fuck a fake smile, fuck a fake smile. I see the things they write about me, and what they're saying on the tv, it's crazy." "Hey." Courtney stooped the track playing back turning around to face the person walking in. "Courtney, hey. I'm Duncan Nelson. We're supposed to make a song together." She nodded, shooting him a polite smile standing up from her seat. "Nice to meet you." The two shook hands as Duncan chuckled. "You're much shorter in real life." She laughed as well sitting back in her seat. "I get that a lot . I'm actually only 5 feet." "Damn, girl." He sat down next to her in the other seat, looking at her. "So what was that you were playing?" "Just a song I wrote a while ago. I just recorded it before you came. So it's really bare, no background notes or ad-libs." He nodded leaning back on the chair. "It's really good. At least you're not overrated." The latina raises an eyebrow looking at him. "Excuse me?" "Not like that. I meant it like an compliment, like your fans just don't hype you up for nothing. You have good music and a nice voice." "Hmm, nice save. And thank you.. let's cut the crap though. We have a song to make, that's why we're here." It was Duncan's turn to raise an eyebrow as he chuckled. "Alright, do you have any ideas on what the song should be about?" She shook her head as Duncan snickered as he leaned back on his chair. "What are you laughing at now?" He shook his head smiling to himself. "Nothing, don't worry about it, it's nothing." Courtney rolled her eyes turning back to the table. "It's obviously something." "Fine but if I tell you, you can't get mad." She nodded looking at him, waiting for his response. "I was gonna say maybe if you took your tight ass ponytail out, you could think." He looked at her as her eyes turned into a glare. "Last time I checked, you didn't have an idea either."

"Maybe, we should do this another day. Since this is not going anywhere right now." She nodded. "I agree. Bye now." Duncan shook his head getting up. "Good luck on the song there, it's nice." She gave him a fake smile as she looked back at the table starting to play the song again. "Thank you."

"Nah man, she seems like such a bitch. I mean I guess she has the right too. All her albums hit number one and stay there for weeks, but still." Geoff nodded as he drove down the LA street. "She's a diva, D-man. You gotta deal with it, you guys write one song and never have to talk to eachother again. And your song will be a hit. And plus give her a break. She's probably mean cause that tight ass ponytail she has." The two laughed loudly as Geoff parked outside the restaurant. "Brody said him and DJ are already here." He nodded following the blonde inside the restaurant already seeing the other two guys at a booth. "Wassup guys!" The hispanic party guy jumped up from his seat as the blonde and rapper neared the table. The blonde smiled widely pulling his bestfriend into a bro hug before he slid into the booth hugging the bigger guy who still sat in his seat, and shaking his head at the blonde and the brunette's excitement. "Hey Geoff. When were you two gonna tell us that Duncan is doing a song with Courtney Barlow." The Italian scoffed rolling his eyes picking up a menu. "I was gonna have you guys find out when the song came out. That girl is a stuck up, note screeching, high ponytail wearing bratty diva."

"Excuse me?"
