This is about my "is your oc a Mary Sue" book.

First off, I'd like to apologize for not doing your requests. There was a moment in time where I wasn't on Wattpad for like a year and then I just forgot that book existed.

However, I would like to note something else: I no longer believe Mary Sues exist. Stick with me here.

People throw that term around a lot, and I find it unfair. So many good characters, whether they be from popular media or are just other people's ocs I like, can be labeled with that term. But that doesn't make them bad at all. Characters that can be labeled as Mary Sues can also be interesting and fun and well-developed!

I also feel this term really harms artists and story makers. They worry so much over whether their characters are Mary Sues that sometimes they end up abandoning whole projects. It sucks, to put it plainly.

So I say do whatever you want with your ocs! Give them those super cool powers! Ship them with canon characters! Just have fun with it! Don't let others' opinions get in the way of your creativity.
