Gradient POV
Mama wasn't allowed to leave the hospital so we did our lessons there. I wasn't focusing though.
Especially when she was in pain. They gave her medicine for it but it still scares me.
I don't want mama to be hurt.
She kept saying she was fine but I just can't believe her. Not when she has a broken arm. Not when there's a crack over her socket and 'nose'.
I cried at times if I looked at it for more than a minute. She's hold me and let me hear her soul beat just to let me know she's still here with me.
"See baby? I'm ok." She said.
I nodded. She kissed my forehead and went back to our lessons.
About an hour after and dad and Pj were here. Coco came to. He hugged me.
  He convinced me to go to the cafe downstairs for some food.
  "So...how are you two holding up?" He asked.
  "Not gonna lie Coco bean, she says she's fine but I'm scared she's lying." I replied.
  He looped his arm in mine.
  "Why would she lie to you?" He asked.
  I shrugged.
  "I'm...not good with bad news. even now I get anxious that she's dying. I know she's probably ok." 
  "Wow. I-I mean I think it's normal. But I dunno what I'd do if I lost one of my dads..." he said.
  In the corner of my eye I could see Pj fallow us. I smiled slightly. He's trying to be sneaky about it but I see him.
  Coco and I got food. He was still behind us. Just watching.
  I kissed Coco's cheek and carefully looked back.
  Pj looked a bit confused but mostly grossed out. When he realized I knew he was there he just looked offended and flipped me off.
  I laughed.
  "What?" Coco asked.
  I told him Pj had been fallowing us.
  "Awww how sweet. I wish I had a brother that cared that much." He said. "Then again I'd need a brother first."
  We laughed together. Pj defeatedly walked away.
